Drake’s dad and Josh’s mom would’ve made for a great episode. It definitely would’ve had a serious tone, we needed more episodes as series as “Josh Is Done”. But I guess it’s like iCarly and Phineas & Ferb, knowing their missing parent’s identity might hurt the dynamic and isn’t as important as the entertainment you’ll experience from the regular characters
Yeah as Dan's shows go on, he has less and less parents involved. In Victorious, the parents are only there here and there. In Henry Danger, it's the same thing. The parents aren't part of the main cast and only appear sometimes or episodes in the house. In Game Shakers, there's one parent.
It kind of does ruin the dynamic because you have to have the parents around so they have to have a plot. iCarly, Henry Danger, Victorious all have a bunch of friends hanging out vibe going on. They live in their own world.
In Phineas and Ferb there’s genuinely no malice with the blended family, whereas Megan’s default mode for her brothers is seeing them as her playthings, and she can play Walter like a fiddle. The Flynn family situation may be more like Freddie, Millicent and Harper in the revived iCarly, Lawrence had a more positive impact on Phineas and Candace at a more impressionable age and Linda for Ferb, like how Freddie earned being a father figure for Millicent in her eyes. Of course in Drake and Josh we’re seeing the blended family from pretty much the beginning, and it took a bit of time for the brothers to get used to each other.
That's what I generally noticed in Dan Schneider shows, where the parental figures are always incomplete.
In Kenan & Kel, only Kenan's parents are part of the show, we were already explained the situation in Drake & Josh.
In Zoey 101 the only parents we really saw were Zoey's, and of course Logan's dad, Malcolm, with no trace or mention of his mom. (I guess this is forgivable since the main cast is quite large, but the fact that one of the character's are only known to have one parent is a recurring theme)
In iCarly the entire main cast has only one parent, Carly and Spencer have no mom, Freddy as well as Sam and Melanie have no dad.
Victorious, also with a rather large cast, had of course the whole Vega family, but all the other main characters once again have a shaky relationship with their parents. Andre only has his crazy grandma. Beck moved into a caravan because he apparently didn't want to stay with his parents. Cat's family is a whole mystery, and it wouldn't surprise me if her brother actually killed their parents (She did mention that she has to hide from him in a closet to survive)
Henry Danger once again left out all traces to Jasper's and Charlie's parents. With Henry's and Piper's parents being as oblivious, devoid and dense as all the other characters.
In game shakers there was only one mom.

I like the thought of not every evil character having some kind of terrible upbringing. Some people just want to rule or cause chaos around them for the fun of it.
I always wanted to see one of Megan's pranks go terribly wrong. Like, she genuinely fucks something up and Drake and/or Josh needs medical attention. Her character could do a 180 and become very concerned about them, waiting on them hand and foot, until well after the boy(s) are healed, and she realizes they've just been taking advantage of her for a period of time. Episode ends with her pulling pranks on them to prove they're back to good health, they come to terms with each other, and the show resumes as normal. I feel like an episode like that could exist anywhere within the show

We would see it from Megan's point of view actually thinking they got hurt then they reveal they weren't hurt at all and Megan goes back to her pranks lol

I have a hard time not disliking Megan, mainly because I saw nothing in her past to excuse or mitigate her behavior. Sam Puckett and Jade West we know at least had some less than ideal upbringings. But in the case of Megan Parker we never see anything in her past to excuse here often horrific acts, such as abuse by her biological father, etc.

My best friend visited me the other day, and we decided to pick a random episode of Drake and Josh just for the heck of it (we’ve never watched it before) and we happened to watch the Gary Grills episode. It got a couple chuckles out of us.
We also thought it was funny that it was the one where they get arrested because of...ya know. Recent events.
I think Megan is this way because she knows that if nothing bad ever happens to her she thinks that doesn't exist limits to it's "Pranks"
Given how Audrey behaves Megan probably didn’t get much discipline, and that’s why she’s always keen to push boundaries. She knows there’s no repercussions so she has no deterrent.
I'm still pretty upset that there was never an episode where she got caught or got her comeuppance or something like that.

When I was a kid, my mom always thought shows at the time like Spongebob were stupid, but one of the few shows my sister and I watched that she actually liked was Drake & Josh.
Spongebob is an absolute genius show, particularly the first three seasons, the rest is debatable.

In that roller coaster episode, (or at least I think that’s the episode) Walter was actually slowly starting to notice Megan’s evil ways, I could be wrong but in my opinion that could be true. Audrey on the other hand seems to just dismiss it everytime Walter would ask when did Megan started calling him by his first name.
Edit: Yeah, I actually expected that episode to happen a lot where she finally gets caught but sadly it never happened.

Carly was sweet compared to everyone around her, let's put it that way. Sam who is the most evil, Freddie, who isn't above resorting to evil tactics when necessary, Gibby who is more than capable of fighting and standing up for himself and Spencer who isn't very 'evil' but he does try to find ways around the 'honest' things.
An adult Megan would've made the unabomber look like a 5 year old with firecrackers

I know right I'm the youngest too I have 2 older sisters one born in 1991 and the other born in 2000 than me the baby I was born in 2003 but I love megan parker I'm also in love with her I meant I'm crushing on her I mean yeah as a little kid I was kinda scared of megan cause she used to verbally attack her brothers by pranking them but over time it really nothing for me to be afraid of cause I later know that miranda was just playing the role how it supposed to be. fun fact I've been knowing miranda cosgrove pretty much my whole life I mean she was always there pictures posters pretty much everywhere so pretty much look up to miranda as someone who I known my whole life and also an older sister not biological by the way

I completely agree with you in a lot of ways... although my take on Megan was always that she was the way she was because of the split, the non-present father, and, much like we would later see with Sam Puckett on iCarly, they're not really "bad", they're "just drawn that way" (Okay, now I'm quoting Jessica from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, but forgive me....)
Personally, I would have loved to see a Drake & Josh / iCarly crossover, simply because I would have loved a "Parent Trap" moment, with Carly meeting Megan...
My feeling is that of Megan was always that she did what she did because, in my view, she was upset about Audrey marrying Walter, and she wanted to sabotage things by any means necessary, because, using a little kid's logic, that would mean Audrey would have no other option but to take her dad back, which, at least to my mind, was what drove Megan to be the Megan we know from the series. Complete supposition, I know, but it's just the way I've always looked at it.
I remember an episode where Josh cut off Drake from his life. It makes me wonder if what would happen if Drake and Josh cut Megan from their lives and flat out ignore her. Like, instead of them trying to get her back by pranking her. They would just do nothing, like how Josh says "he done" with Drake. Both of them would be like that with Megan. They would take care of Megan of course. But overall, they just wouldn't react to her cruel pranks, since they're tired of it all and are completely numb to it.
Remember that episode where Josh had a compete meltdown with Drake after he was fighting with his girlfriend to show that he was tougher than her. And Josh got angry and told off Drake right in front of Mindy family. I wish we see a scene like that with Josh or Drake where one of them flat out called out Megan of all the horrible things she done to them over the years without any care if their parents are watching cuz they finally had enough. And I can see either Drake or Josh saying to Megan "you like ruin our life and you don't even care." Also the episode, where Josh kinda forgive Drake for ruining his life. I don't want either of them forgiving Megan because she doesn't deserve it and they know she would probably keep pranking them and knows Megan would gives a half-ass apology to them and won't mean what she said. It would be a good message to show to kids that sometimes you don't have to forgive someone even if they're your family member.
Now THAT would've been something; I would also imagine that if the parents were watching and tried butting in, Drake and Josh would also chew them out for not realizing the truth about her and refusing to believe them when they gave warnings about Megan. Josh could've even called Walter out especially for it considering he's known Josh longer than his stepdaughter.
My older brother and I used to bond over watching this show, which was cool because we didn’t have a ton in common. Also, as far as characters you’ve analyzed, I’d say Vicky is more evil.

You forgot to mention in the first Drake and John movie where they go to LA when Drake and Josh are nowhere to be found after saying they'd wait for her in the hotel room she quickly starts to get worried about them and then saves their lives at the end
There were plenty of moments where Megan showed concern for them. I only listed a few so the video didn't just become me summarizing them.

This plays into Megan seeing herself as the only one who should make their lives miserable. A late season Kim Possible episode used this motivation for Shego, when Drakken replaced her with someone who did restrain Kim.
In the early years drake and megan did call Walter dad. In about season 3 megan started calling him walter. In season 4 drake started calling him Walter. It was a subtle change that showed Walter was becoming more of a joke in the kids eyes.

Hey, what are your thoughts on analyzing Henry Danger characters? Henry Hart, Piper Hart, Jasper Dunlop, Ray Manchester, Charlotte Page, Schoz Schwartz. I really feel like all of those characters would be really fun to analyze. Maybe you could go deeper into the Henry Danger universe and talk about Henry's relationships, Rays obsessive crush on Kris Hart (Henry's mother in case you didn't know), and if Charlotte and Henry as a couple would work or not. Just a thought that you might be interested in.

She maybe be selfish, inconsiderate hell even downright psychotic at times, but the amount of times she’s helped Drake and Josh shows that despite their love/hate relationship with each other, the love is there even if it’s not shown in the right way.
I think I might know what happened to Drake’s Dad💯
1. Drake’s Mom was simping for other men that she thought looked better than Drake’s dad(we see her do that to Josh’s dad Walter through the entire show and she doesn’t bother to apologize about it) and drake’s dad couldn’t take it and decided to leave her to live a better life with a whole different family.
2. Megan used her evil tactics to get rid of the dad since he threatened to expose her as the evil person she is on the day he found out the truth. She knew that her dad wouldn’t be able to do anything since her mom is oblivious and wouldn’t believe anything bad about her. She used that tactic to make the dad sound crazy enough for the mom to divorce him immediately. Drake also tried to help him but the mom decided to ground him for lying to her. The Dad took the mom and Megan to court to expose Megan and to win custody of Drake but he ends up losing due to Megan manipulating the judge and everyone in the courtroom using her fake charm and pretended to be an angel to win over the love and affection of everyone. He didn’t even win custody since everyone thought he was crazy and a lunatic and he decided that there’s nothing he could do and he’s heartbroken when he has to leave his son behind and knew that Drake’s love and talent of music would soon have him end up being famous and Drake would be able to leave that life behind. Megan also put a tracker device on his car on the day he found out about her, and she snuck into his house in the middle of the night and used a brain washing device on him which resulted in his entire life being changed and he now has fake memories in his mind believing they’re real. He was given the fake memories of being alone with no family and he doesn’t even know who his old family is anymore. Megan basically ruined his life as retaliation for him trying to reveal the truth about her. Drake knows he can’t do anything about it since Megan is more intelligent and manipulative and his mom always thinks Megan is a sweet angel.

Megan Parker is Sam Puckett done correctly, or I should at least say is done better. Megan does prank Drake and Josh to extreme levels, but she never tries to bully them or make fun of how they look, she just loves pranking them and does indeed show that she loves them. Sam (on the other hand) is legitimately abusive to not only Freddie, but Gibby as well as a bunch of other characters in the show.
I think in a twisted way megan is actually jealous of how close drake and josh are. She may feel that josh took her brother in a way or that they don’t include her.

Megan is weird in that she doesn’t really have much depth to her character. Like she’s mean to Josh and Drake for no particular reason. I would understand if she was like mean to one but not the other to give her some depth, but it’s not that way. She could of been really nice to Drake and mean to Josh to show it’s a new step sibling thing.

Sometimes my cousin stayed over on school nights and in the mornings I’d always put on Drake and Josh before we got ready.
I actually woulda liked to see an episode where Megan’s prank goes way to far and makes one of the boys emotional shut down. Not like the one where the stun her hamster and are waiting for her to get revenge, one where drake and or josh get so humiliated they become like a depressed zombie, and Megan’s pranks don’t even have a fun effect on them anymore, and she has to help cheer them back up so she can start pranking them all over again.

His alleged victim accused him of Sexual Assault on multiple occasions, molesting/texting her since the age of 12, & even accused his wife of covering up for him.
Plot twist - after she gave her testimony, the defense attorney debunked all her claims as there was no evidence of assault & that wasn't what he plead guilty to, nor was he arrested for any sexual crimes.
The investigation went on for 3 years & in the end it boiled down to her being outaged at him for cutting her off once he learned that she was actually underaged & learning that he was engaged.
As it turns out, she entrapped him by lying about her age & stating that she was 18. She was never assaulted, her friends were in the hotel room with her when she met him (she stated that her aunt waited outside while she & Drake were alone in the hotel room together. The door was open the entire time).
She basically fabricated her entire story about being assaulted in an attempt to smear his name.
I always figured that maybe her dad was some secret government agent or FBI agent and the technology she got was from her dad's contacts. There's a few episodes including the one with Gary Coleman where she worked with the FBI. Not only that but even the parsjrs are aware of this . I have a hunch that if not both than at least the mom know about her technical stuff, i think the mom is aware or started becoming more aware but who knows
