I planned to have ntg look from above in the studio. I thought it would sound better than a lapel microphone. For outdoor shooting, do you think ntg or lapel microphone?

If you’re looking to start with iPhone then I’d get the DJI wireless mics. Then you can connect it to anything. And the audio is AMAZING

I think if you are using it with the required cables and set the gain properly on the NTG then it will be ok. I have a short on my channel that gives a sample of the NTG connected to my phone

The primary camera and lens are Sony a6400 recorded at 4k 30fps and a sigma 16mm lens. The camera used for the rodecaster is a Sony ZV-E10 with a Sigma 16mm
