Little suggestion: I wonder if you said "you are safe" (in addition to "you're ok") if this would help the pets that have varying degrees of struggle. It has a very direct meaning of safety to tell someone that so it might help.
Can you please tell us at the beginning that the commercials are going to pay for medical care for the doggies? I went back and didn't skip any that I could, after you said. Just if you think about it obviously you've got enough to do if it's not something you can remember.
Counterconditioning in pets with noise sensitivities involves exposing the pet to the feared noise while simultaneously exposing them to a positive stimulus, such as petting or food. And if that doesn't work, the dog could use a visit to the vet. While clearly not your job, there are ways around it. Thanks for sharing!
Vanessa , I'm a electrician . I recommend you to have a wall outlet for the blow dryer . the machine itself in another room . so , there is no sound from the machine itself . you just plug in your flexible pipe , which is maybe a little bit longer but the benefit is : you have only the wind blowing-noise and no high-frequency-machine-sound❤
I had an albino guinea-pig I named Zero round about 1976. I've never seen the film...not interested in encouraging nightmares. I just love watching how 'difficult' dogs relax as Vanessa progresses the groom and they increasingly feel more comfortable.💞🐾🐾
Vanessa, it's so kind of you to help the owners with veterinary care like that. It would mean so much to the owners who obviously love the dog but can't afford it financially plus Zero getting treatment and relief finally from whatever he is suffering. You have a golden heart. Lots of love and adoration from India.
here we have the ferocious viscous guardfloof. Keeping his family safe from intruders, dangerous critters and........... high velocity driers 😸 I luv him 🥰🥰🥰
My old cat Casper lost a lot of weight and we thought he had arthritis because he was having a bit of trouble with his back legs. Turns out he was diabetic. His condition was late onset, so I hope very much that Zero's tests on that head come back negative. In the meantime, thanks for the video, Vanessa. He is such a gorgeous floof.
I went to a small wedding party, it was at the Bride’s house and there was one big dog who was really gentle and friendly, according to her tag, her name was AC/DC. Eventually the dad of the bride told me how he had heard there was a litter of puppies available for adoption so he went to check it out and they were asking everyone if someone would be interested in taking the mother instead of a puppy. The guy said he agreed to take the mom (AC/DC) and she LOVED him, was attached to his hip. Would go on a walk unless he went as well. Senior dogs deserve a chance too!
Pretty sure she's only afraid of cats 😂 But she even handles the spiciest mayo with grace. Mayonnaises videos and there's one where she referred to a little dog as a "snapping turtle". I highly recommend them.
Hi Vanessa , thank you for for grooming Zero, & for paying a part of his X-ray costs in anyway you can, Zero is a beautiful dog, and I hope vets can determine what is causing his health issues. Love Katherine xoxo
I used to have a Pyr and a Golden Pyr. When they were together, I thought the Golden Pyr looked very much like a Golden. Since my precious Pyr has crossed the rainbow bridge, I think the Golden Pyr looks more like a Pyr, especially next to her new GSD Pyr mix brother.
Thank you for all that you do. This is why I no longer have a dog. It has become cost prohibitive and you are such a blessing to these dogs that need help.
Zero is an incredibly beautiful dog. You are so generous, helping the owners pay for Zeros care. I hope they get everything resolved and he’s feeling much better soon.
Gorgeous boy! And so sweet! And you are sweet for helping his owners with his veterinary cost! It is 100% heartbreaking to not be able to afford to find out what is wrong with your beloved pet. Thank you for what you do ❤
I picked up the EquiGroomer I ordered from the Post Office. Upon returning home I let my Lab mix out of the car to run. Like usual, she found some fresh elk poop to roll in. Since she is 70 lbs. & I'm 76 yrs. old, I passed on a full bath. Instead, I relied on wet towels & washing her nylon collar under the faucet. After drying, I went over the area with the EquiGroomer to remove any left over poop dried fur. It made the task much easier. Weather is warming, the snow is gone around my house, & the elk should be heading up to the high country.
I love the way you talk to your clients, I think it relaxes them a lot. My groomer does the same for my Long Coated Akita, she loves playing games with him and giving him breaks.
Zero is a gorgeous dog bathed and groomed. His owners must have been thrilled to see him! Thank you Vanessa for using proceeds from this video to get Zero the diagnostic testing he requires to identify his health problems and, hopefully, treat him until he is well again and pain free. You’re an angel!! God bless you. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
lol, I honestly didn't even think of Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas! When I first heard his name, I thought of Zero from Holes, and the Guidance Counselor's reason for calling him that is "there's nothing going on in his little head" and I thought well THIS dog doesn't seem like that, so the ghost dog is appropriate instead. 😂❤
I haven't seen The Nightmare Before Christmas (the only Tim Burton movie I liked was Edward Scissorhands), but I did see Holes, which was a good movie ---- offbeat, but good. Sigourney Weaver, Patricia Arquette, Tim Blake Nelson, Henry Winkler, Shia LaBeouf, Dule' Hill and others.....
I hope we get a follow-up if they're able to find out what's wrong. And senior dogs are great pets for older folks. They are calmer and don't have the exhausting puppy energy. A warm place to sleep, good food, and some nice walks for exercise is all they need.
Vanessa, you are a very polite groomer. People are blessed to have you work on their dogs. Zero was pretty good for all the work you did on him. Thank you for all the love you show animals in your shop and in rescues. God bless you.
What a beautiful boy. He seemed to tolerate the drier on and off, like he calmed down once he'd made his feelings known. And his front came up sparkling white. I hope his problem is not too serious xx ♥️
The way he put his arse into the corner speaks volumes about his health issue. What a nice and pretty puppy. When I watch the face rinse it makes me laugh because our pooch loves attacking the water from the nozzle.
OMG - what a wonderful ending to this grooming video. You are to be commended for helping pay for Zero's diagnostics. I'm sure the owners were over the moon. Here's hoping Zero will be okay.

What a beautiful fluffy boy! Thank you so much Vanessa for helping the owners with the ever-mounting costs of his vet care. I hope the vets are able to diagnose the problems quickly.
I've always groomed my dogs at home, definitely not as good as you BUT I saw the top paw stuff you do and brushed up my boys paw hair.... wheeee lol. He looked at me like I was crazy but he's like "ok ma whatever you want" 😂 . I do not have a drier but I have a vacuum and when my boy blows coat he let's me turn it on next to him while I brush my life away lol
He looked so beautiful and fluffy clean afterwards. Its wonderful that you can contribute the ad revenues from this video to help with the vet care. Diagnostics are SO important. I hope what ever the problem is, that it can be resolved and he will be able to be comfortable.
I'm a silent watcher but wanted to leave a comment to help out. Thanks for helping Zeros owner with vet costs. It's hard out there. It does my soul good to see people helping one another with genuine care. Keep doing what you do.❤
I hope the medical problem Zero is having is found out soon and he gets well. I think he has a love/hate relationship with the dryer. I think your reassuring and kindly insistent tone helped him stand being dried. He is very sweet and looks so good after grooming. Good job, Vanessa
If the owners do get a diagnosis, and they are okay with you sharing it, that would be really nice. He seems like a very trustworthy dog, and so well behaved even though he wants to murder the air-snake of death.

Pyrenees and Akbash have the face of a golden retriever. Cute!
As a Mon of a Golden retriever, I wholeheartedly agree!!💜
As a previous owner of a pyranean, I agree too. Zero is gorgeous isn't he? He looks like a small version of a pyranean. ❤
These breeds look like they're cousins of each other! but they are still such good bois!
