I’m trying to please my partner and really I’ve just been hustled into serving by manipulation via triangulation, lol.

And of course they didn't. he "could just tell". Just another way to get in my head and make me feel even worse about myself just for existing.

When I was very sick he used to compare me to a friend with MS that was according to him, functioning much better and I am just a spoiled woman if I need to rest. He will also compare me to other women who were doing better in areas like jobs or money. He would also compare me to people he didn't appreciate- telling me I am like them- crazy, worth nothing. My narc parents , from very young age always compared me to my brothers or other kids- all behaved better than me, were good kids, were more successful in social or school- making me feel as a child worth nothing.
Yeah he would say the nastiest stuff to me like 'You are not like her." You are not this and that....continually making me feel worthless. When really....I was a golden catch this whole time. Thank God I had healthy people in my friend circle who could counsel me and bring me out of that dark place. I can't imagine going on like that with him. He was literally tearing me down each and everytime and demotivating me. Today,I realize he was always jealous of me. I was trying to build him up ....meanwhile he was trying to tear me down. Everything had to be 'Oh my ex wore it like this. My ex did this. My ex did that'...Meanwhile I'm over here playing on my life about to pop with HIS own child. Beat that level of toxicity. 😐🙄....today when I look back I'm so thankful I had God in my life that lead me to having such good friends who worked as a support system for me ...or else I would have gone crazy between a narcissistic mother his former ex wife and him. Well, my ex-narc exes are nothing like me. They are hoes they sleep around, they are for the streets and they partake in hard drugs/ pills. One time he tried to talk me into taking an oxy. I told him No I don’t use drugs and don’t ever ask me that again. I’m the complete opposite of them. I even told him I’m not his type. I’m not street at all. I don’t drink or smoke. I’m actually boring. I go to work and I go home. And every now and then I’ll catch a movie and dinner with my best friend. Lee, you have opened my eyes to a lot of things I had questions about.
