Ok I think there's a little confusion with units here. 8 mil does not mean 8mm thick lol. 8mm is almost a centimeter while 8 mil is equal to about 1/5 of a mm.

What's the price differerence- vinyl whole car vs ppf? Say on that model 3.
Can you apply PPF over vinyl wrap for the added protection? I’m aware it would cost like crazy, but I’m wondering if this is possible.

Yes we have done it in the past. Expensive but possible.
Is PPF over a vinyl wrap realistic? I plan on auto crossing and a have a feeling a cone or two could tear up vinyl. But if the vinyl starts failing before the PPF on top of it does, that seems like a waste of money and I’d be better off just doing PPF.
Also, any recommendations for taking care of PPF? Like coatings or differences in washing compared to paint?
Can you apply clear bra over ceremic Coated paint or does the coating have to be removed before wrap?
PPF won't stick well to ceramic coat. We typically wrap before we coat.
What product do you guys recommend to protect against keying?
The only one that will really do the trick is Paint Protection Film. Vinyl can tear easily where as PPF will hold up. You would have to dig hard for a while to get through paint protection film (aka clear bra).
Paint Protection Film will do it. It would be really difficult for someone to scratch through it with a key. Has multiple layers. It may damage self-healing layer but won't break through the tougher layer underneath.
