What you forgot to mention is that this fight is extremely important to the series. Not only is it the last in the main classic games, but if Robotnik keeps the master Emerald because you either didn't get all the emeralds or you lost all your lives, he can power all his robots, Mecha sonic, the death egg, the giant egg robo (death egg robot) and super charge them all. Not only that but the master Emerald can stop the chaos and super emeralds firm working so if he keeps it, sonic can't ever become super or hyper to take down all the super charged robots. Angle island stays in the ocean, and Robotnik wins the world. Sonic won't ever be able to stop him again. This is a fact I obsess over constantly.
Just finished watching the entire series of videos again for the.. what, 4th time now? Perhaps more.. I miss you, Cybershell, but I understand that this shit must've been ridiculously hard work that you would never want to do again. However, for the sheer amount of fun I've had watching these videos, I will stay subscribed to you FOREVER.

@@Clem-hp5sx they do take skill since you go pretty fast their reactionary and have to avoid obstacles in your way and each stage has different obstacles so no level fells the same or at least every boast before forces does that not to mention that every boast game before forces has a gimmick that makes them different but I understand if you don’t like them.
That intro was epic win. Synced PERFECTLY with the Perfect Chaos mix. And it'll be interesting to see Knuckles, considering how half his game really is different. As for Tails.... thats just a bonus XD

4:41 I just remembered that Eggman was the cause of all of those final bosses (except Devil Doom and FinalHazard). Let's see, he was the final boss in S3&K (duh...) Sonic Advance 1 & 2 Rush Series (along with Eggman Nega) and he caused the others SA (Chaos went renegade) SA3 (G-Mel turned on him) Heroes (Metal Sonic locked him up! LOL!) Solaris (well, that might be a combination of Eggman's, Elise's, Shadow's and Rouge's faults) SU (Dark Gaia didn't even give a damn about Eggman)
Actually my b, I just looked it up and sonic and the black knight came out after unleashed. If he just waited one more year and when black knight came out, then he would be wrong with sonic colors
Out of all your final level intros this one has to be My favorite and the most impressive considering how long Sonic 3 & Knukcles is and it's nice to see the slowed down acknowledgements to Super Sonic Chaos Emeralds Super Emeralds and Hyper Sonic and be reminded of all the moments that led up to here. I also love that Doomsday Zone remix shame people only know of it through Super Mario Bros. Z when it started out as it's own track and one of the best remixes to come from Project Chaos.

i find most of the sonic the hedgehog side scrolling games (with the exception of sonic 1) endings give you a very emotional feeling the first time you beat it. i loved the games for this.

I look at the floating island at the end and always wonder.. Where the fuck are Carnival Night zone, Ice Cap Zone, Launch Base Zone, and Sandopolis Zone supposed to even take place?? Hydrocity I understand is underground and Marble Garden and Mushroom Hill can be somwhere among the trees, flying battery is on the ship in the sky and lava reef is near the center of the earth. But where the fuck did the Desert and Tundra come from on that tiny ass thing?
I can see a very big temple to the side of the pyramid, that's Marble Garden. Also, Lava Reef is Angel Island's volcano, it can't be the center of the earth.

dude you are fucking awesome, i have sat here for a week following what you do on the videos and having a few laughs along the way, this was the first time i achieved super and hyper sonic and it was worth it, and this is the second time ive followed what you did through the game i did the same last year, however whilst following what you did i stumbled across another giant ring that you missed in mushroomhill zone act 2 so i achieved hyper sonic by the end of the flying battery :D cheers man

I remember when I was a little kid that the final zones always made me mad. Then I learned the miracle of the red-starred bonus stages. You could gain a massive amount of rings (200+), enough to feed your Super/Hyper forms for quite a long time. Also, in Death Egg, there are a few "rides" that are not necessary in act 2. Jump right over them and cut off a huge amount of time.

All you have to do is wait for the peak of the full moon to occur, toast some toast, and as the toast comes out of the toaster, strike the final hit on the escaping Robotnik, and as the transition comes, enter the level select code, all while at the peak of the full moon. In other words, YOU CANT.
