My grandmothers brother had a Ford model A sports coupe he bought brand new and he had that car until the day he died in 1972. He would drive it yearly to Mexico He drove that car there into the late 1960’s. The car was in extremely good condition since he was a top notch mechanic. I remember seeing that car when he would come visit. When he died in 1972 his wife sold it for $150. When the person who bought it asked how much his widow wanted for it she replied “ that old thing, give me $150 for it.”
Wow that's awesome. Congratulations. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friends. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
nice find, fellow albertan here, I was working near Virden manitoba a few years back and came across a 54 cadillac in the front yard of an acerage for sale, my buddy was interested so we pulled in, turned out the seller had the biggest collection of model a and t cars out back I had ever seen, he used to hotrod them back in the 60s and 70s , I ended up buying my dream car from him a 30 model a tudor sedan, just goes to show you never know when and where things will come together
Man some people are LUCKY, i,d kill to get my hands on something like that!! Some new or 2nd hand tires, engines in these normally come back to life! Then it will DRIVE!!!!
Yep, make the most of the time you have with your old man. Mine is on the other side of the world and i'd do anything to hang out with him and they don't last forever so make the most of it. Unfortunately for me its not at all easy to catch a plane.
Really enjoyed this programme and the Dairy ice-cream cake 🎂 must be a weapon system on the taste buds. How can we find part two of the car renovation please. Big up to the lovely parents and family
Hey Jordan, Wow, did that guy have the collection. If he got buzy and started to sell all of it, he would be a wealthy man. Good luck on getting your roadster. Take care and be safe.
Nice find ! I recognize that area , not to far from my place. Good eye noticing that frame , it pays to knock on a door or two . I hope it all works out for you 🤞🏻. Cheers
Nice find hope it all works out for you ! If you find it it's the getting it home is the next problem (expense ) I been look a little out in BC for a car in that same year range (28to 34 ) but not have a base out there to work from it's hard ! Good luck with these deals hopping you get it and will be watching the build !!!!!
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?
Nice find. Just drove through that area myself, wish I had known about this place. I see that fellow had a lot of model t parts including wire wheels, I’ve been looking for a set as I restore my 27 coupe.
MA AND PA KETTLE THE CANADIAN VERSION 😂👍😂👍😂👍 hi from Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 I looked for one of those Chevy 4 door sloppers about 5 years ago in the states and ended up getting something else 😢😢
Jordan I hope the deal works out so you can get the roadster down south, had any luck chasing parts for the Olds yet? Your road trip from Vancouver to Calgary brought back some memories of driving on the wrong side of the road lol ( the wife is from Edmonton so we one time we drove to Vancouver to fly home) Cheers
Should have put it on a flatbed, like the green car which you stopped at when the flat stopped you. Likely wrecked that rim!. No brakes and dangerous to everybody you passed, while you celebrated the journey. What if you'd needed to stop? Disappointed! Fun, yes! But not very bright!
Nice score with the truck. I hope you can come to arrangements with the Roadster. Im guessing you will be needing something bigger than your board bag to get all these parts home, like a shipping container. Any spare room perhaps? I Need a new chassis for my 28' Roadster, if you know of any others.

Very cool. Enjoy every second you can with your dad. Precious time.
Totally agree. It was a special day I think he and I will remember for a long time
I came to watch, but listening to your music choices is why I keep coming back! Love the Bluegrass Music! At least that's what I call it...
I think I really need to make a trip to Canada. You definitely have some real classics up there. The 1929 Ford is my bucket list truck.
Wow that's awesome. Congratulations. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friends. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.

MA AND PA KETTLE THE CANADIAN VERSION 😂👍😂👍😂👍 hi from Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 I looked for one of those Chevy 4 door sloppers about 5 years ago in the states and ended up getting something else 😢😢
🤣🤣🤣
Back in the 70's a customer of dads in Auckland,NZ had a black chevy 4 four door fast back . Knowing NZ,that car is still being driven around.

Thanks Greg- hope it all works out, yeah I’ve found a few bits and bobs for it that will come over which is good!

Ok, Mom.
🤔😳😥1929😥😥
As soon as you talked about selling it I stopped watching.
Not interested...
Agreed but sometimes these happen to create another story, we’re never to owners of these rather the custodians. Mine was short and sweet
@@bennettscustomsco I guess he never visits Iron Trap garage either. Those guys gather up parts to resell,it helps finance their many projects.

That’s right Mack- I don’t think that board bag will be sufficient anymore!
I have one if you need one?
