    The facelifted Armada is perfection. Infotainment that isn't out of 2012 and it has real Japanese reliability that matches pre-Ghosn Nissan. This is the last call for any potential Land Cruiser buyers who missed out. It's essentially a Nissan Patrol and people in the Middle East drive these. If it can survive the Middle East, it can survive suburban America.

      I heard the difference between the Patrol and Armada besides slight appearance differences (Patrol has shorter bumpers) has something to do with the axles? I forgot but I heard it’s much better to off road the patrol compared to the Armada.
      But yeah basically the Armada is the Patrol in the US. One of the last Land Cruiser alternatives available for sale in the US.

      @@faheemabbas3965 yeah the Patrol has all of the off-road modes and also with HBMC system. the Armada has the same body (can do so mild off-roading with some good tires) but doesn’t have the different modes and HBMC system

    Love the armada/qx80. An extended wheelbase version would be sick to compete w suburbans/esv Escalades. Obviously a different crowd but if u want a Japanese body on frame suv this is a better value than a Toyota/Lexus. Also has more interior space than a land cruiser/sequoia while coming in a price comparable to a gx or 4Runner. Overseas these are known as patrols and are very popular. I have also noticed a good amount of armadas and qx80 refreshes on the road in my city. I will say tho that u are getting what u pay for when u spend more on the Toyota Lexus product but it’s still a great product and the only new v8 full sized suv from a Japanese company

    I never had anything with a V8 but I've heard so many good things about it. I kinda avoided them cause of the gas usage over the V6. Looking at it now I rather get anything other than a 4 cylinder turbo. There is no replacement for smoothness.

    Toyota needs to kill the twin turbo V6 and build a more efficient V8 or troll all the EV people and bring the V8 diesel engine.

      Don't dreams too much they can't go beyond simplicity old skool ancient v8 spec otherwise God forbid japanese put German complexity or cheapo parts in them. Toyota already have diesel d4d v8 but now only for LC70 series line-up but it is also on the verge of extinction

    • @healer81
      @healer81 Год назад

      @@sorojinidungdung6979 I'm aware and most people with drive with that engine rave about it. The only vulnerability is the fuel filter. As long as you keep the fuel filter clean you'll be a happy camper. Ironically the new CEO has an engineering background in diesel engines. The green people are ignorantly fearful of diesel engines but the reality of trucks are all you need is torque. 300hp with 500 lb torque is more than good enough for many applications. There isn't any EV that can do well with weight and gasoline motors that can do what a diesel can do needs about 430++ hp to equal the torque of a diesel motor which will burn more fuel in those cases. This is why the Toyota V8 gasoline motor was so thirsty.

Also the adaptive cruise could use some work as it is overly sensitive. • @electrikoptik
      @electrikoptik Год назад +1

      It’s not overpriced. You get the best built SUV known to man. No other SUV is built to the standard of the LC. And if you look at the price in the past and adjust for inflation you’ll see that prices remained the same.

      @A15689 Год назад

      @@electrikoptik I would have agreed with you if we were talking about older LC generations but the new LC300 has so many drawbacks such as the Aluminum body which does not give you confidence whether from the hood shaking at normal speeds or the body getting bent from small rocks & the Interior is also less spacious than before.

    Owning one for the last 6.5yrs, I have some added insights. Suspension is too soft, and feels like a boat with all the weight. Lane departure is annoying at best. To correct you from crossing a lane line, it brakes the opposite wheels. It SUCKS! I just got back from a road trip in a friend's Lincoln Aviator, and the lane keep us so much better in that! Seat cooling/heating is acting up. Very noisy and shutting off randomly, something is wrong and I need to take it in. Gauge cluster was replaced under extended warranty, due to LEDs out. That was at 50k mi. The can't replace LEDs, it's the entire cluster. We had a ton of transmission problems in the first year, software related, and have been better since then....BUT, this is where Nissan is not good. Service department is typical "just another car". You go with a Lexus, and you get the red carpet for anything you need. It makes a difference. The climate control just makes me angry. Set it to auto, at 68°F, and it will cook you. Drop it down to 67°F, and it'll freeze you. I constantly have to mess with it on trips from being hot or cold. Lots of good things about it, but it's death by a thousand cuts.
