Just rented an Armada for 2 Weeks. Roomy for tall teenagers and a medium sized dog in the second row. Huge cargo capacity and got 21 hwy mpg on regular gas. Most memorable moments: RPM’s below 2000 on a steep road and the roaring sound of the V8 when passing cars.
Very nice work here, they should pay you. I rented an Armada while in Hawaii and it was much better for my needs when compared to a Suburban which I started off with and then rejected after a day of driving. I like the Armada's styling better than NP but you make a good case for the NP.

What suv would you suggest test driving for someone like me who wants that truck-like drive/to sit up high but in something a bit smaller than the Armada?

Well both the Murano & Rogue SL/platinum have the hands free foot trunk activation. The 2017-2020 Nissan Rogue SV have hands free foot trunk activation. Not the 2021-2023 Rogue SV have the hands free foot trunk activation.

They are both nice…. When a drunk driver comes your way head on, which one do you have a better chance in ? I have the Infiniti version of the Armada it’s worth it…..
I'd just like to add that Armadas are all made in Japan (at least since 2017). Nobody ever brings it up, but it's a selling point for some people. I'm currently considering an Armada, and am cross-shopping it with the other similarly priced body-on-frame SUVs that are still made in Japan like the 4runner and GX460.
Buy the Armada. It's the most under rated 4x4 in the world. Seriously, you can't beat it. So safe, tons of power and very comfortable!. Extremely reliable. ❤
I definitely prefer the Pathfinder's looks and better use of interior space. The Armada seriously needs better space management for the next generation. You could barely clear the massive rear bumper to reach inside the cargo area. And you look like you're right around 5'10 if I'm not mistaken.

on the pathfinder, the button to access the 3rd row is on the side of the seat bottom. the button you pressed is for the people in the 3rd row to get out.

Considered an Armada when looking for a new suv. But the Armada doesnt carry over well from the New Patrol. Its a gas pig and a freezer on wheels. Ugly. Pathfinder. While couldve used more power, still looks more updated, refined and drives better.

Not sure if its a Canadian thing but 2022 Platinum Pathfinders come with power folding outside mirrors in the U.S. There is also a button to get to the 3rd row sets on the side of the 2nd row at the bottom of the seat that's much easier to reach to than the one on the back of the seat
Being huge Nissan fan love both of them rather get the Pathfinder.

Armada would be good if it had 27+ cuft of cargo. Can't imagine any family needing to transport 6-8 getting by with less.
yes the problem with all these 3rd row suvs is when you have the third row up there is really a tiny amount of cargo space

certainly recommend checking out the new pathfinder. With gas prices soaring they dont make the suvs like the older style on truck frames.
The 4 runner, the jeep Wrangler and the new Ford bronco are the only mid size body on frame SUV'S left in the market if I'm not mistaken.

Would be interesting to know the towing gas mileage, that 284 Hp and torque in the pathfinder seems a bit low for 6k pounds towing
very hard to determine all depends what your towing i guess
They also gained another 1,000 pounds towing on the new qx60 for their infiniti model by adding the 9 speed
