In this diablo 4 video, I showcase the druid that i made during the beta (server slam) to defeat the final boss. Hope you enjoy, subscribe & turn on the bell to see more videos !
Skills & skill tree at lvl20:
(keep in mind this build was great because of all the legendary powers (especially companions) i found, but there are plenty of other builds that are way better than this and i will cover that in the next video)
1/ earthen bulwark - (1point)
modifiers: unstoppable & casting earthen bulwark grants 18%base life as fortified.
2/ Wolves - (1point)
modifiers: 20%dmg & your wolves attacks have up to 10% chance to fortify you for 5%base life
3/ poison creeper - (1point)
no modifiers
4/ Ravens - (1point)
modifiers: 5% critical strike & 2 additional ravens
5/ stormstrike - (1point)
modifiers: immobilize + 50% to make enemies vulnerable for 3 sec
6/ Landslide - (5point)
modifiers: immobilize + when you immobilize or stunt an enemy, you gain a terramote

This makes me so happy. Just confirms that there are so many trash content creators who cant actually play the game. So many of these so called creators / pro diablo gamers complaining that druid is trash. well done.
That Kor Dagon fight or whatever was brutal af with my Sacced Necro. I barely did it. When he died I had no potions and 1/4 life left.
Ya, when i first tried it with 4 legendary items, he sent me home quickly haha... How many legendary items did you have?
I did it with only two or three, one for my basic attack speed, one for blood spear multiplicative damage and another one was kinda useless. It was rough but I got it done.

Cleared Kor Dragan WT2 as well fairly easily with my druid without popping a single pot. storm strike / poison creeper / landslide / pulverize / bloodhowl / trample. had the leggo that fortified me each time I shapeshift, so playing around those SS skills to generate spirit and fortify made surviving easy and spamming landslide to crush the boss. can't wait to keep pushing with druid!

Thanks mate ! well the druid has spirit issues, slow mobility & dmg is pretty low especially during the firsts lvls, that's why some people don't like it but it quickly becomes a beast after you've extracted some leg powers. Cheers

quin69 is known to be ZDPS, he killed a boss in 1 hour in POE, on wiki says zdps was 1st discovered by a guy quin69 so yea

Did you know there's going to be a unique in the game that allows you to apply all imbuements at once so you don't have to run multiple?

@@TopSecretGG Uniques are a special type of legendary that become available at level 50 and world tier 3 I believe. They have fixed stats, so all versions that drop are exactly the same, but you can only have one equipped at a time and they are build defining pieces. Google D4 uniques, they've already spoiled a few

Beautiful! I used to show your videos to my friends as explanation why I will play with druid. As I see, druid is going to shine from 20-30 lvl until the end and yes it needs some good legendaries. How pathetic that some streamers gave him the worst tier title just because experienced low level gameplay without any clue how druid skills works... By the way the legendery aspect that gives damage bonus for number of companies is not so powerpul because it gives you bonus after every ACTIVE companies!
I cleared Kor Dragan on my sorc in WT2 with only the amulet legendary from completing the last quest. I did die my first try though. Not even close to as hard as Ashava so I don't know what these people are talking about. Druid definitely looks fun reading through the online builder but I almost think there's too many good "obvious" legendary powers to go for, especially the earth/bear builds.
There is so much druid hate. It's, by FAR, my favorite class in D4. It makes me stupid happy to see someone giving it love. I can't wait to see the druid at its full potential. I ran a toxic werewolf build in the slam and had so much fun! Great video! I look forward to more content!

Not bad but I beat that lvl 30 boss on the first night with my sorc with 1/2 the gear. =D Then I found out about the farming...../sigh lol
Good job, wiz/rogue are strong VS bosses, no doubt :). Pretty sure top geared rogue would smash final boss in 15sec
I enjoyed my druid a lot too. I mostly played with the rabies/shred build and had a good time running around as a wolfie boi. Probably what I will play on launch, despite the public opinion on druid.
I really hope werewolf druid is viable. All builds that I'm seeing are pulverize or this build in the video.
@@gatsuyatsu I was able to easily clear things as a werewolf. It may not be the most optimal, time will tell, but its definitely viable.
@@amb221989 We just need to unlock Boons for Druid. We really got shafted not being able to use them, but a beta is a beta. I guarantee you one of the Boons is going to work toward transformations and others toward companions, elemental spells, etc. I haven't really done a lot of research on Boons before release, but I'm just guessing Boons are there to augment how you play in your skill tree.
I love this about D4 compared to D3. Builds are going to be plenty from the little we have played and seen. You fucking rocked shit with this Druid and it was looking like the Druid was total shit out of the 5 classes. I remain hopeful about every class being able to rock shit with different builds and not just this build is S class. Very awesome video by the way. You have a definite knack in bringing the gameplay and info to us in a delightful way.
I love it when everyone is on the hatetrain of the druid, but as soon as something like this lands, every troll just melts into the abyss. Awesome as usual and thanks for putting back the druid on the map. Love this class

It’s not that there’s so much of a hate train, it’s just that this build is the only build that’s viable and requires quite the grind for specific items and skills. This makes the Druid a one build class compared to every other class that you can have multiple builds. Now of course this in the future may change, just for now the Druid is not viable, especially in PVP content.
Thank you so much for being such a breath of fresh air. I grew so tired of the 17 dmg meme, some of these streamers really don't know how to utilize this incredibly versatile class. I liked and subbed. Stay awesome💪
I don't know which streamers you are calling out, but a number of them were very genuine with their critique. The meme, as you call it, which grew from Raxxanterax's video was a legitimate problem at the time. He and others never said that Druid's couldn't clear content at all, with any skill combination. They simply and correctly pointed out that the Druid had a harder time and with fewer skill combinations than the other classes at the level limitations of the beta tests we had access to.
I'm glad this is giving people that were concerned about Druid some peace of mind on what the class is capable of, with specific build paths, and played properly because the bad PR isn't good. But that doesn't mean that the honest, hard working theorycrafters were wrong in saying that " compared to the other classes " their spell choices/resource generation were more limited and overall weaker.
Call out the bad " streamers " by name instead of blanket statements encompassing them all.
This was a fantastic Druid showcase, and now you've made me rethink going Rogue as my first choice for launch. I pretty much have to subscribe now, as it's not often that a video prompts me to seriously consider a class change once I've made up my mind.

I played Druid the first beta release and gave up on the idea of playing it when D4 launches live. Suddenly I want to give Druid another go.... Great video great build. I was thinking Werebear Companion but landslide is too insane to pass up.

really nice video! keep up the good work =) to be honest I never understood the people with this 17 DMG BS, they just read something without any context and think the whole class is bad. Hurricane is a free to cast spell, in what game period is a free to cast spell meant to be the most damage?

Very nice! I did Kor Dragan with a pulverize build, and it was rough. I didn't have many synerized legendaries, basically just pulverize and increased basic attack speed legendaries. Lived with 0 potions and a sliver of health.
I did this as bear druid and it was way faster of a kill, but not bad, and I didn't even have all the companion legos that I wanted sadly.
Nice one but... my rouge was hitting for 1.8k per arrow(crit normal 600-800) with rapid fire(5 6 arrows) ?!? This dudu is insane but cant reach rouge dps yet. Also if target is vulnerable you can spam non-stop Nilcar take ,me around 15 sec start to finish.
Can't argue with rogue dps, so OP :p
I never made it to the final boss fight in Kor Dragan because there was always one last vampiric tumor that was always "invulnerable" and I could never figure out a way to destroy it.
Hope the comments were jokes xD I did Kor on vet with a blue/yellow rogue with 0 legends.. And it was not dificult at all. Yes i died a few times at the boss fight, but that was about it. ^_^
I bet it wasn't hard with a rogue & rogue is probably the only char who is able to defeat him in 15sec with GG gear
but bro you did with no legs, sick haha... even wudijo had troubles to clear the city (with some legendary items equiped)

Nice video man ! .. I'm really expecting that the Wolf form get stronger in late game .. I don't want to play elemental skills with a druid because felling that I'm playing with a variation of a mage 😅.
During the Server Slam, I was able to build a Tanky Support Pulverize Werebear Druid. While my damage is way weaker compared to what you have here (only reaching around 2.6k), I pretty much liked the tankiness plus the support skills I have.
After seeing this video, I'm surprised (and quite happy), that it is possible for a Druid to hit such high numbers.
I believe that different builds will serve different purposes. For example, pulverise build will have very fast dungeon clears coz it kills the whole screen without much struggle. It will be probably slow on bosses but it won't struggle. I've found 3 ways to get guaranteed Overpower (lego + talent + Boon), which means you will Overpower enemies more frequently than ppl may think. I haven't seen the paragon boards yet for more OP opportunities. On the other hand, the landslide build can do more dps but it may struggle if you don't have teramote stacks on bosses.
Did not know what to roll as I wanted minion necro but I am afraid it will suck. Now the choice is clear, a Dudu with companions!
Hey mate, wolves are pretty good and will carry you for the first few lvls. Just to clear things up a bit, 90% of my damage comes from landslide (companions boost my core skill). However, companion builds will be good (I guess) when we reach the endgame.

sorc & rogue are so strong against bosses, not even comparable with other chars, poor druid 😐 but good job!
I am pretty sure, that ALL chars with this many Leggys can do the same. Druid is just a bit harder at start.
Exactly, some spirit/mobility issues but once you find good leg powers to extract or use, he is pretty good.

how about storm skills...i noticed when u start gaining lvls and such, hurricane can be an instant CC to anyone in melee range. which then amplifies all other damage because they are CC'd. were you able to checkout anything regarding this?
Tried to rebuild this for the slam after the pet buffs. Did very similar on the 1st beta and it wrecked.. this time around I only found wearwolf legos

dude i rolled like 7k obols never got Aspect of the Alpha, Aspect of the Stampede, Night howlers Aspect, and Sheperd's aspect on any totems only got landslide skills
Nice Druid but I didn’t even know this was anything special to defeat I deleted this guy on my Shadow+poison imbued TB spam rogue with 24/7 uptime on inner sight in maybe 10-15 seconds. Once the inner sight is full pretty much no boss will survive long as I can use Twisting blades or any high energy cost ability. Plus I had the TB leggos and had probably + 5 total to my TB so I felt like I had cheat codes.

This only proves that Druids are a tanky class. They have abyssmal mobility, so their main defense is to facetank everything better than others classes. It's literally how the class was designed, so I don't think this should surprise anyone. All the top streamers have been saying Druid is gonna be the top class endgame. Yet the ignorant masses still believe Druid is underpowered, and keep asking for Druid buffs. On the contrary, the top streamers think Rogue will be mid-tier or low-tier, yet the same ignorant masses keep saying "nerf Rogue!"
its so funny when someone makes a video about how strong this class really is or how i defeated a boss under x minutes, while he has farmed epic gear on lvl 20 for 4x amount the time it took him to lvl up to 20. And NOW all of a sudden this class isnt broken or this build works. Yea ... Nice story m8, but you show me simmilar dmg with normal lvling gear and ill cut my testicles off if its does 2/10th of the dmg showed here.
Man i farmed that place so many time and got no drop! oh and The obols. i spend over 1k of it and all i got is 2 yellow and gray item lmao....
As usually after every Beta, showcase of your OP Druid :-). Refreshing to see this, while so many are still complaining about this class as the worst one. Just because they don't know how to play it :-)

I did the lvl 30 stronghold on my rogue easily with 2 legendaries and they were trash lmao. Druid will be much better in end game but this didn’t really surprise me any more than I expected with the massive buffs druids received for their followers
I did not play the slam. But i just noticed why that boss was that hard, kill me 2 times en vet mode with my rogue with 1 legendary. Rip keyboard xD
The Aspect that gives an extra companion should really specify which companion. From your video I understand it’s a wolf, but if I carry the vine skill and not the wolves: will I get 2 vines?

Heavily gear dependent. At release farming legs wont be possible anymore since it got fixed.. But yeah with good equipments its funny

I killed this vampire prick on my 3rd attempt with my druid. Didn't die at all clearing the area. This was during the open beta.

i played sorc in the server slam and wanted to go for a chain lightning build (which is still ok), but pure arc lash for the massive cd reduction paired with itself in the enchantment slot makes a spender obsolete... really looking forward for your sorc builds, im sure you´ll come up with something thats completely busted too ^^

First question, why are you farming legendary on Tier 2. It's incredibly inefficient.
Druid is still no match to Rogue. I'm definitely playin rogue speed runs and use it to farm for other classes
They almost certainly increased the legendary drop rates toward the end of the server slam. Nice build, never the less.

If you can do this in the server slam, just imagine what Speedrunners can do 2 weeks after launch.
My view: WT2 is too easy, we need a “hard mode” instead that you can apply to every WT 🤷♂️

Bro the leggo that does 8% more dmg for each companion is pretty nutty. That's a lotta damage.

Poison trap rogue, I cleared Kor Dragan in like 25 minutes with 2 legendaries and took the boss down to 60% hp twice. Aspect of the crowded sage helped alot (Heal 2 hp/sec for each close enemy up to 22 hp/sec). That + kiting makes you immortal.
Good job. Yeah, rogue is rly strong & has less trouble killing bosses in general. I'm pretty sure a GG rogue would only need 20sec to kill this boss 🙂

I got Nilcar on World Tier 2 with a Nerco as the server slam ended. My roommate experienced the server going done before me, so I knew I had no choice but to wrap up my siege of Kor quickly

@@ilovemf I was running a corpsplosion minion hybrid build (reaper soliders and frost mages) I had a legendary that gave me two extra soliders, one that gave 3 extra mages, gained a barrier every minute, increased my core skill after basic attacking about 6 times for a 30% increase, and the blood mist causes corpses to explode which I got from my Ashava fight (some of my armor was giving me bone spike and the bone ability that launch a slow moving spirit). It made for a satisfying and fun time as my minions at level 20 weren't immortal but as long as I managed to keep them up I always had corpses and mages to CC enemies
