Honestly I think more companies should have pets. After dealing with the pandemic a lot of people are alone or have lots of built up emotions that can come out at the worst times. A pet can cheer them up since they can tell how you're feeling and make them feel more social or help them control those emotions.

Rip allergic customers. Not because I’m saying they don’t keep things clean, but rather because they wouldnt be able to resist betty’s charms
its called Benadryl people. In all seriousness though many people I know with pet allergies are great with stores (more common with non food stores due to food safety laws here in Canada no cat/dog bars for me😢😢) as they understand why someone might enjoy that and many of them if they take regular allergy meds are fine (example they take daily allergy pills). For me as long as the store makes it clear "we have an animal on premises" I dont see the problem and tbh even ones who dont have a sign saying animal on premises most places/people wont care as long as no one's getting hurt.
@@davidfitzpatrick6535 benadryl knocks me out in like an hour lol and I take reactine which makes it… marginally better… I have a cat (and a dog but its a poodle so i dont have to worry about that). I have to constantly change my clothes cause I resist picking the darn thing up XD She’s such a little turd, loves to pretend she doesn’t care about anyone, but you should see how she reacts when someone’s out for the day and comes back~ you know, before she puts on the act again lol

Agree, I work in a large office where people are allowed to bring their dogs, there is never any problem, most love the attention they get and play or sleep the day away while being with their owners.

The way Betty kept going into Amanda’s house, it shows she put her trust in her, and basically chose Amanda to be hers. ❤
When I was a boy, my grandparents had a beach house, and the nearby local hardware store had a parrot that would greet customers. I still remember that parrot to this day and was always happy to see him. I think more businesses should keep animals because customers will remember the animals and come back for that reason alone.
The amount of trust they have for the kitty is admirable

Every shop should have a mascot. They put people at ease, make the shop feel more ‘homey’ and provide a friendly companion for those who have been dragged into the shop by an SO, parent or other tyrant. 😊
Having a cat in a shop would make me actively go out of my way to shop there. Knowing i could give a cat fuss whilst picking up my booze for the evening would be a real privilege for me.
In New York City, Betty would be called a Bodega Cat even though she lives in a liquor store. Whatever she touches, you know that’s the product to purchase. She is the protector of the store. In this case, she would be known as Liquor Store Betty ❤❤

I was shocked because I initially thought they were giving her real wine (grapes are toxic to cats). I didn't know they made "wine" for cats that's basically liquefied catnip.

I love Betty and the liquor store staff for accepting that the store (and its humans) belongs to Betty. I also love the way the woman draped a cloth over her arm to pour Betty's "wine" tastings - an acknowledgement of the importance of the occasion and the sophisticated wine taster!

Notice the ear is tipped, fantastic! Doing this along with the collar means she won't be picked up by animal control, she's spayed, and likely vaccinated. It also is clear she belongs to someone. Great job!

I know most people prefer dogs to cats but cats can be just as lovely and accommodating as dogs if not more. They're rebellious and beautiful. Such a beautiful cat, I'd be a regular customer for sure if she'll do the recommendations

This is too cute 😊 I’ve only come across 1 store in my town so far that has an animal. It’s a farmer’s market where they adopted a cat who just showed up one day according to the owner & they fell in love with her. ❤ I was walking through an aisle, looked down, saw the kitty & it made my day. I hope more places have animal co-workers in the future! It’s a nice addition for the customers (and I’m sure for the staff too 😊).

Miss Betty has the greatest life of any cat. A huge place to roam around in with endless shelves and cardboard boxes. Attention from workers and customers all day. Ahhhhh....now that's the perfect life for any cat:)

I had a cat who was a wine taster. Every time I put a glass of red wine down, Chloe was drinking it. Once I realized that my cat liked wine, I had to keep my wine glass with me at all times. Chloe would have loved to work at a liquor store. I think this store would be my favorite liquor store. What a beautiful cat co worker, you have working there.
