The information was especially helpful because I have been using a MAC and its shortcut keys for 8 years so my PC skills and "ribbon memory" were fuzzy. Your info is presented in a very measured, thoughtful and useful way and the tips on how to study and think through the questions were also helpful. I thought I did pretty well but they actually said I passed with "flying colors". I will continue to follow the site for continued learning. Thanks so much!!!
Hello! At the Question14/15 If you want to identify the document title, and author i believe is better to choose a cover page instead of choosing table of contents. At the table of contents usually the author is not mentioned, only the contents. Thank you for your time and efforts.

Capturing a portion of the Sceen: screen clipping. if you go to Insert then exend the 'screen shot' option it offers screen clipping at the bottom. it let's you insert a part of the screen and you don't need to crop the picture afterwards.
This would have been a good video, but there were too many times he plugged in his ads for his site. It was very distracting and I couldn't finish the video because of it.

I have not experienced a problem with this, myself. The interruptions are very brief and not unrelated advertisements, as I had imagined, reading this comment before watching the video. Obviously, it is a problem for some, as one can clearly see by all of this comment’s thumbs up reactions.
18.28 answer bookfold. It is page set up tab under margins section/pages and then you see a selection Normal, Mirror margins, 2 pages per sheet and bookfold. From the preview you can see that bookfold margins are the widest which makes it convenient for biding. I hope it is correct and makes sense.
You want to set a wider inside margin to accommodate binding a document where pages are printed on both sides. Which option should you choose in the page setup dialog box? A - book fold - Go to Layout > Margins > Custom Margins. Change the setting for Multiple pages to Book fold.

If you want to set a wider inside margin you can do it with Mirror Margin, so I would select the second one not odd and even. Once you select mirror margin you will see that it will let you but the margins inside and outside very easily. Just my opinion. You will find it in margins too.

I believe question #14 is flawed, bc the answer is title page, which is not listed. You selected table of contents, which doesn't include the author's name.
HI, just share an opinion of the feature of capture portion of the screen to be used as image in word documents, I think the correct answer is screen clipping, it shows under the screenshot menu.and explains the same function.
1st.. thank you for putting this video together. It is really packed with knowledge. 2nd.. With the inclusion of all "commercials" in between test questions. its almost to much. PLEASE. If your going to add all the "commercials and Tips", level out the audio/volume. I keep having to ride my volume up and down to compensate for commercials being louder than the test question parts. It kills the flow.

Hi, I just came across this website by coincidence and I love it. Very helpful as I am learning MS Word at the moment. I got one concern regarding the question - How can you add a manual line break to a paragraph? The answer was to press shift + enter in windows. I tried it and it didn't work. I then tried ctrl + enter and that worked. Why could this be? Do different versions of windows use different shortcuts?
Does anyone know why the correct answer here 23:25 is 4 and not 1? We get the same result by just pressing Enter. Why do we even need to press Shift? It does nothing extra to what Enter is able to do independently, right?
Question ? Is the MS Word 2016 and MS Outlook 2016 Assessment Test multiple choice? If so, will I have an opportunity to demonstrate the questions hands-on to find the answer?
Pretty annoying pop ups covering the content. Also wonder how correct it is. Book margins = paper is going to be folded in half, so text is in landscape with 2 columns. Seems like that is the more correct answer, but maybe its the question that is wrong.

Great question Chelsea! What is the typical pass rate? While every assessment implementation is different, most assessments will have a desired, or target, pass rate somewhere in the 60 to 90 percent range. However, for most assessments you do not want the top and bottom of your pass rate range to span 30 percentage points. The target pass rate range for any particular test should be narrower (typically 10 to 15 percentage points), and the upper and lower limits of the target range should be determined by the type of assessment being used. As a general rule, shorter, less in-depth assessments are often designed as front-end screening tools that candidates will take right after submitting the job application and resume. On the other hand, longer, more rigorous assessments are typically designed to be administered later in the staffing process (e.g., as the last step before a face-to-face interview). These assessments often take closer to an hour or more to complete and are designed to identify the best candidates for the job. These assessments tend to have lower target pass rate ranges, often around 60 to 75 percent.

I'm being asked, "Lise the page numbering feature to automatically number the pages of this document at the bottom of each page, including the first page in the Accent Bar style." So I... -click insert -page number -bottom of page When I go to select accent bar style one as instructed the option dissapears as soon as I move my cursor, what do I do?
Hi Tiffany! When you are at the "-bottom of page" selection, take your cursor and click (or hover) over the ► symbol and a fly-out window appears. Then click on the Accent Bar selection and your "Footer" will open to complete the task. I hope this helps you! Take Care!

What is the typical pass rate?
While every assessment implementation is different, most assessments will have a desired, or target, pass rate somewhere in the 60 to 90 percent range. However, for most assessments you do not want the top and bottom of your pass rate range to span 30 percentage points. The target pass rate range for any particular test should be narrower (typically 10 to 15 percentage points), and the upper and lower limits of the target range should be determined by the type of assessment being used.
As a general rule, shorter, less in-depth assessments are often designed as front-end screening tools that candidates will take right after submitting the job application and resume. These types of assessments often take 20 minutes or less to complete and are designed to screen out only the riskiest candidates. Such assessments will have higher target pass rate ranges, often around 80 to 90 percent.
On the other hand, longer, more rigorous assessments are typically designed to be administered later in the staffing process (e.g., as the last step before a face-to-face interview). These assessments often take closer to an hour or more to complete and are designed to identify the best candidates for the job. These assessments tend to have lower target pass rate ranges, often around 60 to 75 percent.
i believe you can miss up to 15 questions on a 50 question exam and still pass.
