Gabi you look fabulous!! I think you always look fabulous, though... Now, I'm 60 and maybe I'm advertising my age by saying one of the things I've always loved about you is your dramatic eyebrows. Maybe b/c I don't have any! I'm one of those who dream about getting them microbladed! If I knew mine would look half as good as yours, I'd jump at the chance!!! You are beautiful even without makeup and you always do a wonderful job with your application. Rachel's restraint with makeup just shows how much of a professional she is. Kudos!!

Microblading was the best thing I've ever done. Worth every penny in terms of time saved. Best to get recommendations from a hairdresser, makeup artist or dermatologist. It is NOT permanent unless you get a tattoo. Microblading lasts about two years. Mine started to fade around 18 months but it's still useful for me to use as a guide for proper shape using makeup to fill in gaps.

To me you always look beautiful in these videos and pics and I never thought your eyebrows were too strong or dark at all. To hear that people are constantly criticizing them confirms my belief that this has to do with western dominated society's notions that lighter better across the board. With very pale skin a very dark hair color can be high contrast and jarring, but you aren't pale (and not even always), but your natural hair color is level 2, not jarring at all. I do like how she lightened it though as well, which is a more testament to her skill and eye for balance and color. The make-up is beautifully done, also a testament to her skill and talent, and I'm very impressed by her attention to details and subtleties. A true artist in every sense of the word 🙂

What blew my mind was the blush vs. nude lip portion. I usually wear brighter lip color. It looks great. But I would really like a more modern nude lip. I look washed out when I try. Now I think it is because I don't use blush! I do some cheek contour using the same technique as Rachel, and a tiny bit of highlighter on my cheekbone. I have never found a lash curler that works on my lashes without the inner or outer lashes being crimped looking. Now I've finally found the heated lash curler. Like a curling iron for the lashes! Being a blond, this actually changed my whole face. After the first coat mascara, my own lashes flip up to almost touch my eyebrows (which are actually higher than they should be)! Then, after curling my lashes with one or many heated eyelash curlers, then one more coat to replace any mascara that may have moved or gotten heated and stayed on the curler. Curled eyelashes are the puzzle piece that pulls the whole face of makeup together!!!

Rachel is so much fun! This was a great video! By the way, I have always felt like eyelash curlers were too wide for my eyes. I FINALLY found the perfect eyelash curler! It’s from Shiseido. The Shiseido eyelash curler is a game changer.

The Shiseido lash curler is the most loved eyelash curler EVER. It's the one that ALL the makeup artists have in their kit (myself included). I am so happy to hear that you discovered this!

Yes that one is very popular!! Some people don’t realize that they come in different dimensions and curvature, makes such a difference to find one that works with your eye shape right?

Girl you are just beautiful either way. I was curious how she would suggest to shade to reduce a bump on the nose?

WHOA!! Just got to the end and that trick by putting the highlighter UNDER your nose was so cool. Totally changed the shape of your nose. I totally thought you were supposed to go darker just like you. OMGosh. I do like learning now to do the full brow in the brown. Softer but still so full. but not to dark. Usually I think to go fuller I had to go darker. Thanks . I learn so much as always.

Rachel’s a great teacher and make up artist and Gabi ur so beautiful even without make up. You’re skin is amazing and you def look younger to me.
Another comment related to this video, I wish we were okay with looking our age 😩 I’m going to be 37 in a couple months and I’m noticing my face starting to sag, I mean not severely but it’s def not like it used to be and I’m self conscious about it like why do we have to be so critical of ourselves 😩. I don’t mind my fine lines, I just don’t like that I’m starting to sag and my lips got smaller lol
