Whenever you're done with this series it'd be great to see a video on "tricks/products i learned from top rated makeup artists that changed my routine!"
I think it'd be cool if the lashes were called "Windy City" or "windies." I like the eyes a lot! The bronzer is very photogenic, def bride makeup more than everyday, but that is her specialty of course. She also just seems like a genuine person and very uplifting. Great video.
i love what she had to say towards the end of the video and 10000% agree with her! i LOVE this series and that you are highlighting the positive of the beauty community and not negative. one of the many many reasons why i LOVE you and your content :)
this is honestly a gorgeous look - i just can't get over HOW MUCH PRODUCT she kept putting on your face, literally layers of foundation and a ton of concealer oof (i just know from having makeup artists do my makeup for weddings etc it would crease all over on me)
I was really worried with how cakey the foundation and concealer looked going on but wow, it really came together in the end! I feel like some of the MUAs in other cities have used less product but it ended up looking way cakier in the natural lighting afterwards. This artist is a wizard!
With that being said, it'd be cool if Taylor could find an artist who does a more natural makeup look (a la Lisa Eldridge) with a lighter touch just to compare. Seems like everyone she's gone to so far goes for that same bronzy IG makeup look.
Exactly, and when Taylor smiled you could really see the lines around her eyes. This would crease like crazy in just a short amount of time. Also, the excessive amount of bright orange bronzer didn’t look good either
It did come together but I wonder what a face would look like with that much product after having it on all day?? I know this is more of a bridal look but there are those who do full face yet have to work long hrs and in plenty of cases they're working manual jobs. Hope that makes sense, lol. Loved the eyes. Especially the lower lashline and concealer tip. Don't know if it's my screen but I was not a fan of the bronzer on the forehead. On my screen it looks too orange. LOL when she used the hair gel for the brows. Seems that product works much better than those that are made for the brows by so many brands. Time to buy it and toss out the 2 I have that don't work like that gel... 😁
When it finally came together at the end, I was shocked! Yes, it was heavier and really dramatic, but it was really beautiful! I also really loved her personality (and her hair, oh my goodness!), and how she explained everything. This was great, Taylor!
I definitely think she has a talent for photographic makeup. Our eyes are different than a camera lens, so our usual looks might look washed out in photos. However the placement and tones she used are most definitely going to look most amazing in photography/flat images. No photoshop is needed to enhance the features of the subjects with a look like this. It looks beautiful!
I agree about the statement that you are shedding a great spotlight on talented makeup artists. Too much negativity so we need more of these positive vibes! So much fun
Maybe but shifty mua need to be called out too! They can put a girl off make up for life!! I get that there are a lot if hyperlinked vids about but people need to be called out, people can't be that deluded into thinking they are amazing at something when they aren't!
yeah! I was like, how's this gonna pull together! but even then, I could see the makeup artiste's technique and style and felt more confident, but the final look in natural light is just beautiful!!!
Love the dramatic eyes for an evening and the lip is super flattering! She was also really sweet and what she said about your positive content is very true. You are really supportive of artists and it's lovely to see.
I once forgot and accidentally did my under eye shadow before putting on concealer so I went in afterwards kind of like the mua did and I honestly loved how it looked and have been doing it that way ever since.
She did an incredible job and I love how she mentioned you’re showcasing artists in a positive light. It’s so true I’d rather see positive videos about makeup artists.
Why was I nervous with all that concealer going on.... it came out BEAUTIFULLY. wow that under the eye technique was mind blowing. Great job to the artist! I love seeing real talent showcased.
Ive been watching you since the beginning. I started watching your videos because you had cystic acne and I did as well. You always seemed so comfortable in your own skin. Showing yourself barefaced with cystic acne at a time where everyone else doing makeup content had flawless skin. U taught me that you dont have to have perfect skin to be beautiful. I went on my accuane journey shortly after you started yours. Now my skin has cleared up, I feel like a new person. But I will forever be grateful to you for all the tips and tricks to cover my acne and show me that I wasn't alone.
When she said she does the brows first…. I knew she was legit and that I’m watching this video alllll the way through. Even if you just add a little brow powder to get the party started, framing your brows before you start your eyeshadow/makeup really helps with how your overall look comes out, It’s always made such a difference when I haven’t done it, I wind up not liking the vibe as much.
I was dying to get in there to blend out that lip liner, but I think she did an amazing job!! I love how she did your eyes -- she really made them pop! And your skin looked gorgeous too.
“Your”. Makeup can’t accentuate “you are” beauty. Allow me to assist you: “you’re” is short for “you are” and it sounds like, “yu-er” rather than the “yor” sound made by “your”. So when you’re describing a second person possessive like “your”, think “yor”. When describing the contraction of “you are”, think “yu-er” instead. That mnemonic should make it easier to differentiate the two. I hope that helps.
@@keirfarnum6811 it's not that deep. Sometimes your phone just switches them. It happens to me all the time, and I don't always catch it. Same with there, their, and they're, who's and whose, and it's and its. 🤷♀️
Oh my gosh this might be my favorite one! Taylor you’re always so sweet and kind to everyone! She should call those lashes “The Taylor” .. this look really brought out your beautiful eyes!
I really LOVE the finished look. While I think this would be too heavy for a regular day, or even night out I could see this for weddings or something similar.
She has such a wonderful, calming vibe that shines right through the screen! She did a great job and I loved watching and listening to her! Wonderful selection of an artist to highlight!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Yay, so glad there is another one of these! 🖤In the future, it would be cool to do a video where you talk about what you have learned or changed about how you do your makeup from the different artists in this series. Plus a round up of your favorite products they have introduced you to!
I love her! Her energy and vibe is amazing. Her skill level is phenomenal! She seems like a genuinely good person. Makes me have a little more faith in the world! Love these videos btw! Please, keep em coming!!
By far my favorite look from this series so far! Your skin looked like butter at the end, I loved the higher contour placement and I think this was the perfect mix of full glam & still looking natural
I'm doing my friend's wedding makeup in two weeks and we did our first trial run yesterday. I'm going to be practicing the look on myself pretty much every day since I'm so nervous to mess it up, but the under-eye concealer technique here is definitely going on the list of things to try out! This is my favorite series you have ever done on your channel. It's awesome to crowd source so many new techniques!
You look gorgeous Taylor and the makeup artist was certainly talented but definitely not an everyday look! I would be very uncomfortable with that much foundation on my face.
Omg she was the nicest person! Her personality was great and I loved her techniques and how she explained everything. She's one of those people that are beautiful inside and out. She did an absolutely wonderful job on your makeup and you look beautiful.
I love seeing how different makeup artists do your makeup, this is one of my favourite looks you've had done, her work is flawless! You look absolutely beautiful Taylor, but honestly you always do! 💗
Taylor I’ve watched you for YEARS! I just wanna say how proud I am of how far you’ve come and also thank you for being a shining example of class, strength and true inner beauty to women. You are gorgeous girl! Keep doin your thang Queen 👑💕👏🏼
JACKIE IS RIGHT! she highlighted your eyes with perfection, Congrats to Jackie! She’s so cool ❤ Bet you love the lip combo… great video again. Guess for her eyelash line name: BLUES, Rhythm& Blues, or NIGHTLIFE… JAZZNIGHT, … in honor of Chicago’s unparalleled blues scene & remarkable and iconic history of blues and Jazz clubs ( wearin the lashes of course…) !?!?
Loveddddd the eye makeup and the bronzer ahhhh! Those final shots look so good, like it all blended together amazingly. Also really liked how genuine Jacqueline came off 🖤
Wow! This makeup looks great on you. Perfect example of trusting the process because I was nervous with the foundation and the eyeshadow on the undereye 😂
I used to wear tons of makeup when i was younger as well, now I prefer more natural looks and lighter bases rather than cake face, which I remember was the thing in the earlier 2000s. I have the Givenchy voila rose powder which is lovely to mattify
It's so so pretty! I want you to go to a makeup artist that uses colorful shadows and stuff maybe like a drag makeup artist or something would be really cool! Some awesome colorful cut creases or special shadows like multichromes and stuff? Think about it because it could be fun.
Girl!!! This is the BEST hands down NUMBER 1....first place for makeup. Its absolutely 💯 pefect!!!! I went to school for aesthetics and do makeup in the side. And her skills are sick!! Youbcould see the artist in her going mad hard. Girl you look great!!!
Each time you get one of these done, I think, "THIS is my favorite look I've ever seen on Taylor!" and then a new artist shows up and I can't make up my mind! Everyone you've seen is so talented...but I truly think this is my favorite look you've had done, so far :D
It frustrates me how many professional makeup artists don't understand the difference between contour and bronzer; and where each one should be placed.. especially on us pale ladies..
I do think it’s bad that so many pale bronzers are straight orange, but leading/famous makeup artists (I’m thinking scott barnes, wayne goss, makeup by mario, the real techniques sisters) tend to use bronzer/warm tones to “contour” because true cool toned contour tends to look very obvious and unflattering in person if you are not incredibly careful with it and you don’t have the right bone structure for it
@@ilikeaple I learned a technique for contouring cheeks on extremely pale skin when I was young: use matte black eyeshadow but with extremely minimal amounts. After knocking the excess off, rub most of it off the brush on the arm until there’s almost nothing left. Use it in the natural crease under the cheekbone, slightly lower than where the blush goes. It produces a very natural look that doesn’t look like makeup. It doesn’t work anywhere else though.
The only accurate bronzers for pale skin are eyeshadows🤷🏻♀️. And it can be extended to other product like contour or blush. Lately, people like Riri or Patrick Starrr are starting to kill it but extream pale or dark people have always struggled.
This is one of the most beautiful looks I’ve ever seen you wear. You look stunning. Lip color looks so so good! Contour sort of made your face just a touch more heart shaped in a beautiful way. Cheek color, perfect. Thank you for sharing!
I also found it very interesting that she did the under eye and then did concealer, and it makes sense. Those lashes she added were awesome! I also loved that she didn’t just use high end products but some easy to get ones. This was a fantastic look! Thanks 😊
Love these videos. I always learn so much. I was terrified watching the foundation go on, but it came together so beautifully! Jackie was so sweet and sincere at the end. The world definitely needs more positivity.
Honestly at first I thought the bronzer around Taylor's hairline was way too orange but after seeing the final look in her apartment I think she did that intentionally because I have NEVER seen Taylor's eye color pop/look that freaking blue before, wow
You both are amazing! She did a mouth drop open job! So gorgeous! Her concealer blend technique is great. I have always just avoided it up to my lashes cuz it always made my creases pop. Now I will incorporate they way she does it- it makes so much sense! Thank you again Taylor for doing this type of video. It just us such a wide sample of techniques & teaches us so much!! I love your channel so much! You always look amazing but this one is over the top beautiful!
So pretty I love this look!! I think she did such a great job of a soft glam! And I’m so glad she pointed out how you share positive and real content, that was a cute and refreshing moment. Thanks for sharing!
Totally know way off topic but.......Jacquelines hair is amazing 👏!! I wish I could ask her what products she uses. Beautiful 😍!! This end look looks super pretty. Love learning new techniques from super talented artists. Great job. And love ya for always being a positive light in the world.
I think after the editorial makeup, this is my new favorite. Like, your skin looks amazing. She really did that!!! Maybe get your makeup done by her partner that you linked next? Hmmm?
You’ve always been beautiful, and this look shows a new facet of that beauty. You really look like you feel beautiful too, not just physically; it’s your whole being that seems to glow with genuine confidence. ❤️
I think she did a professional job. Couple of things I noticed, 1. she seemed to have a "look" that was consistent between the examples of her finished clients (including you), making them all look similar. I don't know if that's just simply the trend everyone wants right now or it's just her comfort zone. I'd be interested to see how many different looks she can do. 2. I understand she was going for a look that works best for photos, so the techniques she used were for that style. But I felt like she could have achieved the same look with less makeup. Not a different look, the exact same look, but not so many layers of the exact type of makeup. The eyes were layer upon layer of the same colors, the face was layer of foundation followed by blush then contour then foundation again then more blush then contour again, etc. And this was full coverage foundation, so it looked heavy to begin with, let alone layers of it. By the time she was done, the look was beautiful, but the amount of makeup aged the client by at least a decade. I've always thought makeup should enhance the individual beauty of a person, not be a mask to hide behind. I did really think she did a fabulous job, and it's obvious she really knows a lot about makeup. Thank you for highlighting MUA!!
I noticed the same and, as a MUA, it often happens that when you nail a certain look you become known for it and the loop starts: bridals ask you for "the look" they saw on your IG or someone they know. You keep on doing it and BOOM!, a hamster running on a wheel. And about the amount of product used, she is definitely on the "stage amount" side wich has the purpose of looking beyond beyond perfect exclusively on camera and lighting. In real life, yes, the bridal looks older and overdone. But reality doesn' t exist and what will remain will be only what the lenses saw and our distorted memories. I' d love to see if she is able to adjust the amount when there are no cameras involved. 🧛🏻♀️🖤
It’s my first time watching one of these videos and now I’m kicking myself for not watching them in the past, now I gotta catch up, this is so much fun and is reigniting my passion for doing makeup on people. Working in the makeup retail biz can make a person jaded and cause one to lose passion for the art of makeup, this video is making my day :).
That was so cool - the lower lash line sorta blew me away! The whole look is stunning - the bronzer I thought was way overboard but the final look proved me wrong. Very, very nice.
I love the overall look. Personally, I think she went a little far with the bronzer though, or maybe just the color. It's like you have an orange ring along your hairline. Otherwise, gorgeous!
Whenever you're done with this series it'd be great to see a video on "tricks/products i learned from top rated makeup artists that changed my routine!"

Maybe “Wynndy City” for the pair she put on Taylor haha

Wind Whispers (individuals)
Floating (natural)
Blown Away (enhanced natural)
Blow Out (stacked)
Wind Burn (theater-worthy stacked)
Disclaimer for glue should ensure lash glue is Chicago Wind Worthy

This is one of the most beautiful looks I’ve ever seen you wear. You look stunning. Lip color looks so so good! Contour sort of made your face just a touch more heart shaped in a beautiful way. Cheek color, perfect. Thank you for sharing!
This look came out stunning she did so awesome!!!!!
The finishing look is gorgeous and the look is perfect with your black hair and makes your blue eyes pop
This was the best of all the professional makeup artists to do your makeup. She really knows what she is doing.
Beautiful & Natural looking! ❤
I agree! Her eyes pop soooo much in this makeup look! It looks great!
These are so fun! Keep doing this series!
You look incredible. The shadow under your eyes make the blue really standout
I think after the editorial makeup, this is my new favorite. Like, your skin looks amazing. She really did that!!! Maybe get your makeup done by her partner that you linked next? Hmmm?
Yes, when Taylor said she’d have to check out her partner, I was hoping she’d get her makeup done with her as well!
Are you a makeup artist yourself?!
Cuz if your not then you have no idea and no experience with it. So how you feel about it isn’t warranted.
Geez triggered much? They're not wrong lol
I think it’s “the look”, and people go to her specifically for that look.
YOU LOOK SOO BEAUTIFUL!!😍😍 She did an amazing job 🤍
I love the overall look. Personally, I think she went a little far with the bronzer though, or maybe just the color. It's like you have an orange ring along your hairline. Otherwise, gorgeous!
I had to look hard for this comment and I totally agree. It looks very unnatural and strange to me. Everything else looks great though.
