Thanks for the video. A glass broke in my dishwasher and stopped the pump from working. This video helped me take out the pump and remove the chunk of glass. Dishwasher fixed.

I just fixed my Bosch dishwasher. Problem was stuck float in Water Level Control Assembly.
This keep the pump constantly running. Hard water/calcium deposits pretty much caked up stopping float.
I went a few steps further and took apart whole assembly and descaled parts and float with CLR cleaner and brushes.
Cleaned Styrofoam float on bottom and all moving parts. (Red push-rod and other parts).
Works as good as new now.
    Thanks for video.

Really great! Thanks! First I replaced a faulty drain hose. No change. Still water stayed in the washer. Then I disassembled the pump and found the "thing" you take of a can of coca cola inside the pump. Removed it. Assembled it all and... TADAH!!! Works again! :-) Was about to replace it but this video saved me a ton of money! Thanks!

Thank you. Followed your video and found a sliver of broken glass in the pump assembly. Dishwasher operational again. Saved money and time, and the frustration of doing dishes by hand.

Thanks for the guide. I think my issue was a flood cause by a little pipe into the rear of the drain pump housing had come off, probably due to scaling/grim. I blew that out and reconnected. Seems fine now.

I have to admit the first place to check should be the Filter and then the end of the hose where it goes into the drain pipe. Then do the following before taking it all apart!! It might save you a lot of work and mess....What you dont see in the video is all the crappy dirty greasy water and dirty plates that indicate a blockage normally!! 😄
As I am a Engineer (nothing to do with dishwashers or any other household items) and when mine left a lot of water in the sump area I simply took the end of the drain off after having previously checked the filters discovered that the filters were fine, attached my small 8 bar compressor to the end with a airgun and the hose and carefully back blew high pressure air through the hose until it cleared the blockage in the sump area, once I had a lot of bubbles coming up through the dirty water I knew it was clear enough to drain, allowed a drain cycle to go through ,it worked, then a rinse only cycle, and after that just fine as normal.
Most people wont have a small compressor to hand or are engineers or domestic white goods technicians in which case sponge out the water to reasonably dry from the sump ( yes its disgusting and greasy) then put in half a pint of vinegar and 5 teaspoons of Bicarb, it will bubble like mad leave for 15mns then put two or3 kettles of very hot water (not boiling) into the sump and hopefully that will clear the blockage, if it does, then run a rinse cycle and if all is well carry on a as normal.... .
If it doesn't clear, then take the bottom off the dishwasher....and follow the video as its useful....

Hi, my friend. today I had a bad day. I failed to fix my client's dishwasher. it's clogged and also leaking. I fix the clog but for the leaking, I thought it was from the inlet valve at the bottom. but when I bought the new piece for$90. it just turns out it's leaking from the side of the dishwasher which is the inlet gasket. there are two squire holes there and almost all the water leaking from there. I am so frustrated even though I check tons of video on youtube. a guy told me that's because there is too much pressure in the dishwasher. but why? I don't think I should seal those two squire hole there since they are designed like that. could you please help me out? please!!!!!! I could send you the video how it's leaking.....

Great video. Could you also do some video on controller unit issues troubleshooting? For example when cycle program can't be changed (... one wants to change washing cycle but fails.. cycle LED is "stuck") or when start but on is kind of stuck, I mean like issues with control panel, buttons... Thanks in advance!

Greetings! your video is simple and yet very helpful! I have a question, draining pump in my machine is same version and having washing/draining problem, not sure yet. What I noticed is fluid inside of chamber where rotor of draining pump is. Is this normal or there is leakage inside the chamber? It should be dry right?
