I owned one in 84 brand new, loved it and set up correctly handled very well. Did a few mods to engine which brought it up around 69-70 hp without any problems.
The 84''s Kawasakis are one of my favorite Motocross motorcycles, Thank you very much for keeping like new these wonderfull motocross legends bikes? It feels Good !!! THANKS !!!
Agree anybody that rides a big bore well major kudos to them. They are so much fun to ride. Every motocross rider should have a two stroke big bore in their garage.
Grew up 700 Yards from a Kawasaki Suzuki CanAm dealership and got to see all the New Year MX bikes from the 80s , man those Open Class bikes were Monsters . Thats how I ended up with 60Bikes 🤦🏻. Great Video on that Beast !
@@mrmoparrr I have ten bikes I ride/race. The rest stay in the collection. It is not a good thing that I have so many bikes to ride. I had a 83 KX 125. When I first ripped it i was kinda surprised how it ran.
Check out my KX 125 video...that bike is just as nice as this KX 500.

I use VP Racing T2 which is 100 octane premixed at 40:1

air cooled non power valve bikes do best with a castor bean syn combo between 20;1 to 32;1 depending on rider skill and engine size.

would 12,000 euro be a good price for a mint kx 500 in europe
