    This is my first video about gaming audio/IEMs, so let me know what you think of this content and if I made any mistakes. I have 1 more video about USB DAC/Amp devices coming out in a few days, and then Ill take a bit of a break from audio, unless you all really like it 😅

    The VR3000 are legit badass for their separation quality. I have never ever heard sound as wide sounding as them on IEMs before. They shine like crazy with games, binaural or vr content or those "8D music " (makes me wonder how can the sound be sounding like coming from all around you!?) and finally movies with 5.1/7.1 content..
    Damn, what a unique beast at this price!

    • @UpgradeLemonade
      @UpgradeLemonade  Год назад +2

      Yeah they do very well for that I just wish they were more lively for music and other content. I actually picked up the E3000 by final and they honestly feel a lot like the vr3000 but the better bass response lifts them up. Still have amazing imaging

    Tried KZ KS10 Pro($35), Letshuoer S12 Pro($140), Truthear Crinacle X Zero's($50) and the IE 300 by Sennheiser($200). I am keeping the Truthear Crinacle X Zero's. But now you got me thinking about the TRN... ugh but I love that bass. HAHA Love the review thank you!

    • @UpgradeLemonade
      @UpgradeLemonade  Год назад +1

      IEMs are tough cause sound is such a personal thing and also the fit of each one! Ive seen people love the S12 pro and IE300 and others hate em for example. Also from a gaming perspective its hard just cause how each game handles sound design differently . Like Tarkov is all about subtle audio ques in a wide open world, with bursts of different effects. On the other hand Battlefield has 64-128 players, vehicles, artillery etc etc all slamming around you constantly, so displaying the right footstep ques can be harder for some IEMS. Anyway thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it :)

    kinda funny how hard is to find reviews for the TRN TA1 Max, I guess people didn't like the TA1 and thought "meh the max version must be a sligthly different of the same"
    for soundstage and detail how does the TA1 Max compare to the Kiwi Ears Cadenza? I've also seen praise for the Ziigaat Nuo for detail and soundstage (and bass) so it might be a nice contender for your TA1 Max

    Even in strictly gaming context the VR3000s aren't worth it? I'm looking for IEMs to use with just my steamdeck & switch - won't be watching or doing any other type of content. How does it compare with these in that sense?

    • @UpgradeLemonade
      @UpgradeLemonade  Год назад +2

      Well I think the VRs can be good in gaming sure, they definitely need a bit more juice or volume in general to stand up tho. But I don't find them particularly better than the other 2 options even for gaming. Plus they are a good $30 more. I just wanted to add I'm looking at these from a FPS gamers perspective and getting audio cues like footsteps, etc. So if you play more casual stuff Frankly any of the will be ok

    Imho good IEMs for gaming are stupidly overpriced. After open back headphones (hd 560s, DT900 prox - yeah yeah Fresh just drag me into audiophile/gaming rabbit hole) and Planars (He400se, edition XS) with all soundstage and imaging I can't look at IEMs as gaming solution or justify price which will be even higher with this kind of technicality. Optimum Tech said the same.
    Crinacle Zero and Moondrop Chu are banger for the price (own both).
    Had bad time with HBB Olina becaue I got some issue with channel balance after a few months. So yeah 100$ wasted. Imagined to buy something in 200+ range. IEMs could be fragile at this point.

    • @UpgradeLemonade
      @UpgradeLemonade  Год назад +1

      Yeah I think it'll depend on the price point of each. If you spend $50 on headphones vs $50 for a Crinacle zero you're experience is better with IEMs. But the higher price you go I'd rather go headphones personally. I think IEMs are a BETTER value pick but if you want to spend $200-300+ headphones will perform better. That said some people will find IEMs more comfortable for long gaming sessions

    • @UpgradeLemonade
      @UpgradeLemonade  Год назад +1

      Yeah I've had that with other headphones, most of them go for a stronger seal around your ear for noise isolation but it leads to heat build up. You want "open back headphones " like the ones I showed in my video. They breath a bit more since it's physically open on the back side. You'll hear a bit more of your room noise but it's not that bad once you have a game or video playing. Mine are the Phillips sph9500 they also have a newer sph9600. Those are less than $100.
