recently got the truthear crinacle zero as my first IEMs, and in tarkov they make a huge difference, i went form not being able to tell if a player is flanking me from right or from left (with my Sennheiser gsp350 headphones) to literally tracking a player through wall as he comes at me by the sound of his steps. Clarity is also really good, i'm not worried about missing the steps in the rain anymore. But to be completely honest comfort wise they just suck, i take them off as as soon as i finish a raid cuz my ears hurt. Not sure what's the problem, i actually never found those vacuum earphones to be comfortable, so maybe it's just me. All in all, sound wise couldn't recommend them more

A DAC replaces the DAC you have in your PC, that is the bare minimum for it to work. You don't need a DACst of the time, specially for gaming when some games can't even handle higher sample rates. For music though, if you go for high Res (not RUclips or Spotify crap), you may want one, but still not necessary since most of the time nobody can tell the difference

After tried IEM's like the HBB Raptgo, the Fiio JH5 and a few others I would say this; unless you have an issue with open back headphones, just get the K702's. They cost less than £110 new on Amazon and you literally need to spend 10 times more (HD800s) to beat their soundstage and imaging. Physics don't lie.
I see a lot of reviewers talking about gear A and B that was just released, but the princes of soundstage and imaging only second to the HD800 seem to go unnoticed because they've been around for longer than literally RUclips itself.

For me, I always fall into the trap of how a product looks. The 800S looks great, and that would be the only reason I’d buy it haha. I like how there is little to no gap when the band/headphone cups meet the head (if that makes sense).

@@ShadelessDen I wasn't actually expecting a reply! That's amazing... Yeah, I suppose everyone's different on this planet, so just because a majority of the people enjoy something doesn't mean you're forced to enjoy it too.. Sorry if I came across as a bit rude and all-knowing! Keep up the amazing job you do, seriously!!!

They look awesome. I am really liking the Planar game these days. I think that may be the feature, to be honest. The only experience I have with Planar's is the 7hz Timeless, and it still has my top pick!

If you want better imaging try IEMs that are neutral/flat tuned. The Aria, Chu II, Zero,ZS10 even the Quarks are good especially in tac shooters.

@ShadelessDen yes...I originally used the small white ones in the middle and they hurt my ears....then I used the smaller white ones they fit fine but were extremely quiet....then I settled on the black foam ones and they fit great but it was still too quiet

I want a gaming experience for a normal person to use, and they will be useful in FPS games, such as ambient sounds, watching videos, and podcasts.
The bass is not as important to me as the sound, its purity and clarity are more important
Is there a better option than them in the $40 category?
