    Just bought the Crinacle Zeros after watching your review and others, been really enjoying them so far. My dad tried them and compared them to his Mee Audio M6 Pro(2nd gen) that he got custom molded, and he said that the Zeros blow them out of the water for way less. He was shocked that they were only $50 lol. Crazy how far audio and IEMs have come in the 5-ish years since he got those M6 Pros

    Idea for a video for you. Get a IEM measuring rig and see if EQ matching sets to those you deem to be wallhack tier can make them comparable for gaming.
    Investigate whether it's tuning or shell design/driver quality that makes certain IEM's have better imaging and soundstage.

    Thanks for the recommendation. I just got the Raptgo Hook. First pair of iems. I have a lot of midfi headphones. It's like having a 2 foot bubble of sound around my head. Not used to that much sub bass, but it doesn't mess up the rest of the frequency even though I prefer a neutral tuning. The separation is crazy with lots of detail.

  • @AnthonyJGianotti
    @AnthonyJGianotti 2 года назад +2

    The Raptigo’s are elite for 239, a touch of eq to bring down the bass a hair and an ever so slight bump to the mids/highs levels them out and makes them punch way above where they have any right to at that price. I also love open back iem’s when gaming, that’s why I love the Audeze i4’s so much. Typically opens need eq to shine to the max though, as they almost all purposely emphasize bass and recessed mids vs neutrality since they don’t have to worry about excessive ear drum compression. Correct for that though and you can retain the punch while really opening up the mids and highs.

    Really loving this series of videos, please keep it up. Is there any way you could test some other thieaudio iems such as oracle, clairvoyance, monarch, elixir? Also, you really seemed to like the SA6 but its not on the list anymore. Any particular reasons why? Do you still feel it fits the bill or does it fall short of the other wall hack iems? Your video on the monarch MKII really got me thinking and I think for my needs I'd like an iem that's great for gaming but also awesome for music and media with good isolation and comfort as those are the main reasons I'm looking at iems coming from my open backs. Do you think the monarch mkII is good enough for gaming compared to the wall hack list? I don't really want to buy a $300-$500 dollar pair just for gaming and then be left wanting another pair for music/other media when I could get a one and done for $700-$1000. Do you have any recommendations based on these criteria?
