    Howdy. The rear sight elevation is fully adjustable without any tools. Just spin the sight clockwise or counterclockwise as needed. The manual will tell you how it affects up or down. I got one yesterday and got mine sighted. Fun for sure.

    You're lucky you get a 25-round mag. I'm stuck here with 10 round max capacity. This is one of the last cool guns in CONnecticut you can even get. Not to mention driving to another state or buying rebuild kits is an option but god forbid you take it anywhere public. Anyways, thanks for the video

      10 round max is a damn shame. I'm going to leave it at that. Thanks for watching.

      Just chiming in, here in California, 10 round is so dumb, really envious of the 25. At 25, I might believe this gun could help serve even in a home defense situation. As a criminal I might freak out after the 15th pop.

    You said I lowered the back sight as far as it would go. Wouldn't that make the gun shoot higher? You raise it to shoot lower, you lower it to shoot higher.

    • @Scott67
      @Scott67  Год назад +1

      You would be right. I watched the footage and I'm not sure why I said that. I need to get back to the range with this one. It seems to be pretty popular still. Thanks for watching.

  • @mikem.2078
    @mikem.2078 Год назад +1

    This was two years ago, and was your first shooting. I wonder if you changed your opinion or not on the sights. I just got mine a couple weeks ago, out of the box with zero cleaning or adjustments, took it to range and shot ~160 rounds at 15 yards, and I was getting decent targeting.

    • @Scott67
      @Scott67  Год назад +3

      After the video I put a red dot sight with a riser on it. I stick with using the red dot but I can still use the original sights for back up. I think I'm going to do a revisit video this afternoon as this is still pretty popular. It runs like a champ and is fun to shoot.

    I got one cheap with a 10 round mag but i dont live in a state where they require you only 10 and not 25 rounds i need to know how to covert the 10 to 25

    • @Scott67
      @Scott67  3 года назад +3

      I know you would need another spring for the mag. I checked on a spring and came across this info on the spring at HK parts.
      HK MP5 .22 25 round magazine spring for the MP5-A5 & MP5-SD .22 rifle
      Please note: This spring can also be used to convert the 10 round magazine to a 25 round magazine. It has come to our attention that Walther has made changes on any new production 10 round mags that prevent them from being converted so this applies ONLY to the older style 10 round magazine without a permanent block installed. Hope this helps
