@@2A_CaliGuy yessirr way fun amd cheaper ammo before I bought one I do remember watching your video about it #Komifornia sucks and I just sub to you I thought I already did
@@Taenamo appreciate it. I’ve been learning a lot about audio/video settings. Hopefully soon my audio is always good 😂. I picked up a nice mic, and didn’t know I had to change the record level on my camera 😝 . Appreciate the sub!
Your late to the party, I bought my .22 MP5 A4 around nine, ten years ago. I got mine when the first batch by Walther hit the market. Sweet gun, highly accurate. I have a picatinny rail and a red dot mounted on it.
Yup Central Komifornia. No joke this thing had no issues with any of the ammo we brought to test. I definitely feel like for anyone that’s a fan of the MP5 this is a must. The cost of 22 vs 9mm is also much better. Don’t get me wrong I’d love an MP5 9mm, but look at how crazy the prices are in CA and the ridiculous configuration you have to put them in to make the Komifornia approved 😂
@@2A_CaliGuy yup I agree with you bro! I would love the real MP5 but don't have that kind of $ to dispose if either. Would have loved the 22lr pistol but again this golden state is just turd. My brother had one and it eats everything. Minimal failure, all working feature, and real licensed HK product. Hold on it it, these things are selling out everywhere
@@Bill-up9xw yeah I haven’t seen them back instock since this one was in. Hopefully they do come back in. Definitely a great gun. So much fun to shoot. Just have to remember if you think you’ll only run 1,000 rounds bring 2,000 😝
I also guessed Central California. Like Los Banos or Lemoore (where that Harris Ranch is), I drove through there a couple times and when I saw the fields and smaller mountains in the distance, thought it looked like that.
@@2A_CaliGuy we get stiffed on anything gun related here, prices have gone right up in the last couple years, I have a mossberg 590, paid £700 which is around $900, how much do they cost over there? It's not even the A1 model, those are illegal here due to the short barrel length
@@FirearmsGunGear here the shockwaves we can get have the 18.5” barrel as well. They’re close to $600 USD, but they’re not as cool as the actual shockwaves.
I’ll have to check that out. With the handgun roster being challenged hopefully soon we’ll be able to have the pistol versions of this, or the mini draco! When it comes to pistols Komifornia has some ridiculous laws. I’ll do a video on how AR/AK pistols have to be configured in Komifornia soon.
I noticed the manual talks about adjusting the strike based on the speed of the bullet. Did you have to adjust? I tried four different sub sonic ammos today and the cci quiet at 700 fps didn’t cycle for me. I’m wondering if I lower that speed if it will improve. Likewise it says if you’re shooting high fps then you should increase the strike speed.
I actually didn’t make any adjustments. Perhaps I’ll have to look into it. I think I may have got lucky because from subs to supers this thing didn’t have any issues. The 22LR AK we did a video on didn’t do as well. Seemed like it was very picky with ammo. Let me know if adjustments change how yours does.
Is that a private property or public range?use to go out to new melones but BLM shut it down any info would greatly appreciated im in san joaquin valley
Just wish the magazines didnt have the windowed spring assist would look so much better without it.
Right!
I wonder if there’s any aftermarket mags without it?
@@2A_CaliGuy I looked a couple times but couldnt find anything, I could probably look harder though lmao
To be honest I didn’t really look either 😝. When spare mags are needed perhaps 🤔 we’ll give it more effort 😜
I have one of the originals from over a decade ago. Never had a non-ammo malfunction (.22lr can be picky). Great platform.
Nice. I’m sure this thing will hold up well. The build feels solid. Great gun lots of fun to shoot. Gotta have some spare mags though.
@@2A_CaliGuy Yeah, I have 4 mags in total just in case they stop making it again.
That’s a good idea. Should get some spare mags
🤣
Hell yeah got mine and already tested it on the range. Amazing I’m loving it this might be one of my favorite gun now next to my KR9
Nice! It’s crazy how much fun it is.

Chose this for my first rifle! Just bingeing all these hk mp5 videos now while I wait for it to arrive haha
Nice! It’s a shooter that’s for sure. Not picky with ammo. Great rifle.
Same lol
I am struggling between this one and the HK 416D
Tough choice I like both !

This is one solid 22lr, eats pretty much anything and everything! One hell of a deal if you ask me! You in Central California???

Cool vid, waiting for mine to come in to the country here in England, you guys will shocked how much it costs here...£1079 which is about $1300
Dang that’s as bad as my P365 😂. Any other state they’re $500 here in California they’re $1500 used because we can’t just buy them 😝

Is that a.k . airsoft? I swear I hear it rattle.
Na it’s a Chiappa AK. It’s a 22LR.
Mine runs damn good, don’t over oil, break the barrel in slow. It will run all day
Coolest looking mp5 you can get in CA
Right 😂 you can get others, but hard to find. Expensive, and with the fixed Mag BS they’re a pain to load.
Great video! I just purchased this gun last week. Excited to get it. What would you say is the best 22lr ammo for this gun.
I really like CCI mini mags they work great, but it didn’t mind cheaper ammo like thunderbolt. Thanks for watching
Almost looks like the gsg 522 .
I think both are made by umirex and jus licensed by hk.

Pick me up one today at bass pro shop they’re pretty cool looking
Yeah they’re a blast at the range.

It’s my buddies ranch just outside of Bakersfield California
Brother do those come with supressors? Are they legal in CA?
They are CA legal, but the suppressor isn’t real. It is just a shroud that goes over the barrel. Cheers
