My mp5 22 I found to be very accurate could hold a baseball size grouping out of the box at 25 yards I was pretty impressed overall and very fun to shoot and a hell of a conversation piece with anyone who sees it.
Thanks for actually showing that you completely missed the target on your first attempt with the MP5. I bought the pistol version and had the same thing happen to me. I have never used sights like the MP5 has.
Good video. I own the Walter MP5. I should shoot mine more often, but the closest range is indoor. I modified mine slightly, I have a SBR license & had the barrel professional cut, then threaded for a flash suppressor. I also purchased an extra mag, I should’ve bought 2. It’s a lot fun to shoot, to bad (to the best of my knowledge) Walter stopped making it. Hope everyone stays safe & shoot’s straight.
Pretty cool gun personally I don't think I would buy an MP5 that's chambered in 22LR but if you're into Target shooting and stuff yes definitely but personally I would buy this gun strictly for self-defense(9mm) it'd be a great gun if you needed to get into a shootout directly out of a vehicle or anything Close Quarters but definitely not chambered in 22LR
@@jesse4839 I'll get one in two weeks. My local store had sold out but let me know that they're getting some in the next two weeks. I bought the rifle version with a 25 rnd magazine and the pistol version is supposed to have a 20 rnd magazine.
Very honest review. I have the hk416 22lr. Sweet 22 rifle and I've been considering purchasing the new hk mp5 22lr rifle. Between the two which do you think is better? Appreciate your input. Thanks for the video. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
Both are good guns, but I prefer the 416. For me it’s got a more familiar feeling of an AR, and I have put a lot of rounds through it with no issues. Also, parts for the MP5 based 22s are expensive like an optics rail for example. We recently uploaded a video of an MP5 22 with all the expensive stuff.
Buy the pistol version !!! already set up for threaded suppressor, use SB Tactical (FS1913) folding brace on a 5 slot 1913 rail mounted on the butt cap! Looks and works great. No SBR !!!stamp
I just sold my older Umarex imported MP5AP model in favor of the new HK Imported MP5SD model, while that internal parts appear to be all the same the trigger housing on the new SD model is plastic not metal and I’m very disappointed that HK would cheap out like this. If I’d known this up front I would have never purchased the SD… Shame on you HK!

Agreed. It is pretty accurate.

I’m definitely not a marksman
Took me around 500 rounds to really get dialed into the drum sights on mine.
The other AR15 is also Cal.22!!! The other AR15 is also Cal.22!!! Wow... What a Weapon... The AR15 is Even More Incredible... :) !

The Walther version is hard to find, but yeah lots of fun to shoot. I’m currently looking for the the H&K threaded barrel version.
Ah-gee-lah is how I have always heard that brand pronounced. No idea if that is correct or not I think it is a Mexico brand or something.
I buy mine today 🙌🙌🙌👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏

The rifle version is the only one I can find. I really want the pistol version but I can't find it.
It took me a while to find this one.
@@beararmsstx556 I ended up getting the rifle version. I love it!
You can find them on broker sites but they are generally not as cheap as finding one at your local shop

What’s the difference?
I need one of these.
VERY COOL
Would this be good for rabbit hunting? Maybe a scope on it too
Also, is it rifled?
Yes this would be good for rabbit. Once you figure out the sights, it’s pretty accurate.
How did you sighted your mp5?
Trial and error
Civilian-Similar to weihrauch air rifle. Yeah, but still good, no fuss at all

Will that stock work on an SP5?
I don’t think so. The butt plate is different for the 22 versions.
How much is the price
Depends. 400-500ish
Is the rear sight a little wobbly?
No, seems pretty solid.

I’m on a waiting list for one.
Omg dude your on every review telling people to buy the pistol version.
Maybe they don't want to.

Aguila means eagle and the ammo is mexican
Real version is 2800 retail. This version is nothing like the real 9mm.
It’s still flipping awesome and a blast.
The REAL version is almost $30,000

You keep saying $5k, no way are you finding a real one that cheap. I just sold one for $12k and that was a good deal
I should clarify, the SP5 is in that range. $3k and up.
I knew what you meant
