  • Indian Railways is the 4th largest rail network in the world spanning more than 68,000 km.
844 crore passengers use it every year for intercity or regional travel journeys. It was first started in 1837 and has played a significant role in the Indian society and remains an intergral part of it.

This can be attributed to the fact that all the high capacity and high demand routes like Mumbai-Delhi, Chennai-Mumbai, Pune-Hyderabad or Kolkata-Delhi have already been built during British era. Any new routes can't be guaranteed with considerable amount of traffic because many of the most important lines already exist, thus discouraging the government to go so far to build new ones instead of just upgrading or widening the existing network.

India isn't developing rapidly, you could said the railways yeah, but they don't usually maintain trains good, especially thier toilets, even in trains that are premium to the common man don't have proper toilets, you could add a expection of vande Bharat as all tourists will travel in it, lots of Indians are uneducated people with no manners, alots of them land in Modi's vote bank, besides that, india dosent enforce laws so strictly and thier police averagely (I'd say goa police) take bribes, and only really care about money.

India came into existence with the brand Indian Railways and Indian Post and Telegraph. Both of these communication links were the foundation for India's birth, for which credit should go to the British. Otherwise, this vast sub continent had over 550 kingdoms. India was born on 15 August 1947. When the British left, Sardar Patel stitched 550 kingdoms as the Union of India as we know it today.... The British were super managers. Independent India has not built one Hill Station or add any new line to any Hill station except the Srinagar line. The work on Bullet Train is tardy. China has built over 40,000 km rail track for their 2000 operational Bullet Trains in the last 22 years.

"India came into existence with Railways and Telegraph"? Utter Drivel. India came into existence long before British were a civilization. Maybe read up on history before talking nonsense like this?
I am not going to give credit to the Brits for making railways to loot India.

@@seedhasaadabhartiya3312 The oldest civilizations are the Mesopotamian and the Nile Valley. The Chinese are also older than the Mohenjodaro civilisation. India name was coined by the Greek conqueror Alexander, who misspelled the Sindhu river as Indus and the land beside Indus became India. That was in 325 BC. Even today the world Atlas shows the Sindhu river as Indus. Why is BJP celebrating Azadi ka Amrit utsav for 75 years of freedom ? India is only 75 years old ? There were 556 kingdoms in this vast sub continent before the British left. Why did BJP Govt send India's first citizen, President Murmu to attend Queen Elizabeth's funeral in the UK ? Why is India still a member of the Commonwealth ? After all the British Queen was head of the 56 nations of the Commonwealth which UK ruled and India was a part of that ruling. Why don't you tell the Govt to withdraw the membership ??

Here is an interesting topic that you may want to make a video upon. The international airport in Delhi and the RRTS consequences and influence on the golden triangle.
Most international travellers come into Delhi and visit Agra some of them go to Rajasthan aswell, all the cities that are visited are metros, they have metro trains but they don't have an international airport or any planned RRTS, there is some politics behind it and maybe you want to create a video on that.
