Joker Stencil is ACTUALLY GOOD Here???

Hey folks! In today’s video we’ve got another Gold Stake Balatro run. In this build, I was actually able to make Joker Stencil useful by finding strong early options for Chips and Flat Mult allowing me go deep into the run despite being down a Joker slot. Enjoy the video!
Balatro is a poker roguelike deck building game centered around creating powerful synergies and winning with big hands. In it, you can combine valid poker hands with unique Jokers in order to create varied synergies and builds. Earn enough chips to beat blinds, including challenging boss blinds, to make it to the next ante and progress your run!

I had a run the other day with an Eternal Stencil Joker and Madness. It definitely wasn't a late game strategy, but it got me through Ante 8

One time I was playing on the ghost deck, got Stencil first followed by a Spectral Pack containing Ankh. Meaning I had 2 x5 Mult along with 2 additional x1.5 Mult

I actually had my first win on the abandoned deck not too long ago i was avoiding it for a while because it sounded horrible but i actually ironically had stencil blueprint and burnt joker. Played high card the whole run

Is Joker Stencil counted as an empty slot for another Joker Stencil? I sold Invincible Joker for another Stencil when I was having 3 jokers and both Stencil gave me 4x instead of 3x. I won that gold stake run with only blueprint and 2 Stencil.

Yea stencil counts itself as empty, stacking them makes them infinitely more viable, problem is getting more

got a run today with joker stancil in first round and astral pack to make it negative and copy it. :'D got +10 for flush joker and won with just these 3 jokers. (flush was lvled up on 20 and some cards had enchantments)
edit: its btw the first time I won a run with less than 5 jokers ^^

Somethings I don't get, why sell the discard money joker before entering the shop? I would think learning nothing is worth buying would let you keep it another round. And why don't you always take something when buying celestial or arcana packs? Sometimes there are genuinely 3 bad cards, but i would think deathing a 4 to a 2 would be worth it right?

I got a very sick stencil run where i managed to get 3 of them using the cloning joker basically giving 4^3* mult

I had two negative joker stencils so I sold everything else and it carried me past ante 8 pretty easily

I like grabbing stencil when im playing the double tag deck and just load up on negatives. Not the best way to win runs but when you get some good negatives it feels so good

I recently did a run with eternal joker stencil and eternal madness joker, the latter of which I was able to copy which carried me with little effort going into anything else. Always though joker stencil was underrated
