OHHH YEAAA
I recently watched this and it broke my heart a little that so much of this area was destroyed by Hurricane Ida just a few weeks after this came out. I hope that people can recover and rebuild. It's such a beautiful area. If there's a specific way to support the rehabilitation of this community please let us know. This is your home turf so it's got to really hit you right in the feels to watch it, yes? I'm glad you could get it on film before it was damaged so people can appreciate it.
Yes it’s difficult to see your loved ones hurting and a place you call home destroyed. There’s much work to be done. I appreciate your words!⚜️
Hey, we visited grand Isle because of your video! I know this is an older video but it’s very well done. Thank you!
That makes me so happy and hopefully y’all had a great time down there.
That's my family's homes featured. The house on the right was basically destroyed
My home was destroyed as well. The storm ruined so many lives and businesses. The island will bounce back certainly.
Would like to know the future industries. Strange to have mentioned it but not expand
Hydro, wind, and solar power. Renewable energy. Marijuana farms with relaxed growing laws getting legislation. There are more but it’ll be included in another video, my friend.
@@LouisianaDread given Grand Isle’s history with storms and hurricanes, I can’t imagine that any company would want to invest there.
love your accent!
Oh thank you!
What does he mean by Grand Isle in a position to capitalize on these further industries coming up??
By investing in these new/profitable industries
When you look at the area via Google Earth you can tell something huge used to be there. It’s all underwater now
Yea it’s sad how much land we lose.
