When I was a little girl I was always drawn to old folks...
My daddy said I would badger them lol with all kinds of questions about what happened to them when they were little...
Thanks so much for keeping these stories alive via RUclips! ...
Stay safe Louisiana!! 8/28/2021, Silver ✌💞

    I ❤ this video!!!
    I ❤ Leeville!!!
    I ❤️ Grand Isle!!!
I’m 58 years old and now I appreciate the history of the island. I’m the grand daughter of a Santiny, born in New Orleans.
My heart belongs to the island.

Just about every video under lost Louisiana, there is a segment that is missing the sound….

Children are given misinformation in small doses, it is part of their educational experience.
This will prove useful in future historical and cultural manipulations.

At the time the original production aired, music rights for Internet distribution were not available. Unfortunately, this means that some of the audio in this video had to be removed. We apologize for the inconvenience; however, we hope you enjoy the rest of the clip!

No Audio At 9:20 through to the end. After reading the comments, and the lame excuse from Louisiana Public Broadcasting.
The gentleman's speech, not the music was cut. Did he say something that later, was deemed unacceptable?
Someone, who can read lips please finish his words and properly finish this historical documentary.
