God I wish this worked for the ews3 as well because I hate putting that connector on there it makes me cringe every time I squeeze it down and hear those pens it's nice to have a little dock like that

Be careful using that adapter, it is known to kill the processor on ews4.4 especially I have personally killed two using it. I stick with soldering from now on, no adapter.

Hello just a clarification in the picture for 2L86D . to solder the wires No2 is white and No6 is black . The point is that we dont have yellow and black cables but the ones left are orange and blue, Could u please suggest what is what?
I heard you pick eml key when it's a key with buttons instead of 7935 or whatever the other option is. When you did it did the buttons work fine on key using the non eml key selection

Unfortunately no matter what I do I cant seem to get the adapter to read the EWS board with ESW 4.... always get PIN no touch....... oh well I tried.....

Mmm maybe if theres some typ of adapter to the xp400 pro dip socket to j1 or j2 .. but as for right now i dont think it will work with the im608

Brother, was this ALK or adding keys? Also does that procedure works with smart keys as well?
Either or its the same process! This does not work for smart keys only work for regular keys and ews3 and ews4 systems older bmws
Is it true that it’s safer to let the programmed key sync to the car to avoid the risk of data corruption to the mcu?
