Hey for the 6AN line for the brake booster vacuum line, how did you get the vacuum lines out to the vacuum canisters? ECS includes an aluminum fitting but i wonder if i could cut out and reuse the plastic fitting thats already there
Yep that’s what i did. Just reuse those plastic fittings.
@941garage ok will do. How long is the 6AN line, 5 feet? Also, did you use AN fittings on both sides of the plastic vacuum bungs fitting, or just slide it on and secure with standard hose clamps?
@@Marky_Markster I can’t remember just cut it to you desired length. Yep just slide them on and use a hose clamp.
I was wondering since you were in the 941 area do you recommend any shops to do walnut blasting on a 335i?
I did my own and also have the tools to do it. Maybe we can work something out.
@@941garage i am having the turbos replaced right now so it’ll be in the shop for a couple more weeks i just don’t know how bad the carbon deposits are and i was thinking about trying to get that cleaned as my next step how far are you from bradenton?
@@941garage I was also wondering were you planning on selling the turbos you had rebuilt with turbo lab?
