Lmao, well what ever you decide. I think both platforms are good and have their pros/cons, but single turbo has always been my best choice.
@@941garage you are absolutely correct man. Leaning toward ST because there’s inherently less stress on your hardware with that set up. We shall see though. Game time decisions will be made this week
@@tronn_carter I went 17t with upgraded billet wheels, new chra's and thrust bearings all custom balanced and coated. Theyre the most flowing 17t my tuner has ever seen but after the amount of money ive spent on the car i wish i went single turbo. It might cost about 1-3k more in the beginning but its a LIFETIME of better experiences. Sure i love the 500whp on e40, a single walbro and no helix, and 19psi-21psi (I just got the helix and second pump so we will be pushing 28-32psi on e85 hoping for 450rwkw which should be like 600-640whp) but i regret it, single turbo sounds better, feels better, enjoyable better and yeah, take it from me as someone whos spent over 25k aud ontop of the car, upgraded twins are not worth it since we always want more! hope this converts you and gives you some info :)

Beautiful car. Will you be upgrading tires and keeping the stock rims? I love the stock sleeper look. I’d assume it will prevent you from reaching the power you’re going for but the stock rims look great.
I will put 17” in the rear. But for now I’m getting better tires for the stocks.

On the reflex plus controlling the boost, is it only adjustable by reloading a tune always or can be adjusted on the fly? I’m looking into getting a reflex but I have been also thinking of going with a GFB 3 to be able to adjust the boost
That’s a good question, I’m still working on it with my tuner. So I’ll get back to you once I get more info. But so far I had to flash a new file to the reflex to increase boost. I’m sure there’s a way to control it.
@@941garage How did go with the boost control with the Reflex? Is it just a one setting upload for managing it?
@@azatranzport1117 Currently yes, because the reflex plus is so new they are still working on improving it. Maybe once canbus can be used the green/yellow wires on reflex harness. But over all this is way better than any controller out in the market.
Where did you get a ots tune from? Almost finished my build too but im just worrying about the tune so i can test it
I literally used mhd ots tune. When I spoke with my tuner he said that its fine to run it on ots tune for a bit just don’t be stepping on the gas until you actually get a custom tune. But I recommend having a base map ready from your tuner.

@@truckerboymari3589 Yes, I am uploading my tunes through mhd. And also using reflex plus to control my port injection, boost, and secondary fuel pump.
what year and what miles on this engine?
130k, 2007. Healthy motor with 180-175 across all cylinders. Valves seal perfectly.
