This is a very short addendum to the aforementioned previous video from last year. Thus, the exciting watermelon saga finally comes to an end.

I dont like hl alyx. I dont like the way the story is going now. I feel that valve is gonna try and make a hl alyx version of the gorden timeline, in VR. I cannot afford VR or a GPU to use VR, so that makes playing this game hard for many people like me to do. If HL alyx was an off shoot, and we had a story continuation of HL 2 (hl 3) I feel that would make more people happier with the story.

in the alyx workshop there's a "restored melon gibs" mod that I highly recommend. It's a lightweight addon you can have installed with any other mod and it makes melons gib-able and it's wonderful

The fact that someone took the time to re model the Half-Life 2 melon that is never seen by the player is what I love about valve.

How does it feel to finally play another Half Life game after all these years?
Too little and too late. HLA is a neat little tech demo, but after 13 years of blueballing I've learned to stop caring. That, and I've come to rather dislike retail HL2, the more deeply I look into the 2001 era cut content.

@@albinodino5050 I won't deny that HL:A is clearly a fantastic game and a welcomed return to an abandoned series. The point I was trying to make is that it's not enough to redeem the series, that Valve spent too long spitting in fan's faces, and a short spinoff cannot possibly sate the appetite for our unanswered questions. Mark Laidlaw did more for that with "Epistle 3" than Valve has.
No melon gibs huh, this can only mean bad news for the next Counter Strike game.
