Valorant has a problem. It is a problem that, if not dealt with, will almost certainly lead to the destruction of the game.
So, let’s get rid of the obvious first. Ranked.
Ranked in valorant has many many problems, the biggest problem is the smurfs. If you don’t know, smurfs are basciall just people from higher ranks playing in lower ranks, making games unbalanced and extremely difficult for less skilled players. It doesn’t help that some agents are percfectly designed for smurfgs. Agents like reyna and iso, who profit off of raw aim, makes it much easier
for a smurf to dominate games. Most valorant players are and halo all have in in these low ranks, so smurfing isan extreme problems
Trolls, afks, weird bans , all these other problem thats I will ntop be getting into today. So if ranked is not the problem, what is.
Well what does fornite, csgo, and halo all have in common that valorant does not?
Tickiong sound effect Thats right diversity.
Lack of diversity is valroatn biggest weakness, and may certianly lead to it’s downfall. Let me explain.
If you have ever played valoran
If you’ve ever played Valerie before, especially with friends, who are more experienced they usually tell you one thing grind to level 20 so that we can play competitive. They’re lies the problem. The only reason you really ever play. Valerint is for the competitive game mode.
No, that’s not to say that competitive is a horrible experience, despite with some people might say Valerint ranked can be sometimes fun especially if you’re playing with your friends you can try new strategies you can experience new agents and just experience the excitement of getting better at the game.
But here’s the thing, Valerie ranked is so fun to the point where it’s limitless entertainment Valerint rank definitely reaches its limits as many many people will tell you.
And the problem is the only game mode that really you have have any incentives to play is ranked there’s not really any other game was like if you any sort of incentive or motivation to play other than ranked it’s not like you’re gonna get a new skin from playing Deathmatch or you’re gonna unlock a cool new banner through escalation no you don’t get anything in fact, the only really reward you get is from competitive, which is a gun buddy which has its own problems, but we’ll talk about that later.
In fact, most other Valerie game modes are just really warm-ups for the actual competitive game Deathmatch team, death match and you could even argue unrated. It’s just some sort of practice for competitive I never really see people say hey let’s hop on Valerint. Let’s go play some escalation. No it’s always hop on ranked. Let’s hit the grind and that is a huge problem. Let’s look at Fortnite Fortnite rank does play a very, very instrumental part of the game it is definitely not everything you can do.
