you do realize that i was a flat piece of STEEL right?! I counted around 10 seconds!
How would YOU have cut through it? Even an angle grinder would not have been faster.
    MAYBE a plasma cutter...

This is why makita is world class. The only thing faster is water jet cnc machining. The accuracy looks comparable plus cuts cool to the touch.

Tip: use it with a cutting guide or a carpenter square to cut very straight. I used to have one of this tool.

you realize, that it was a flat piece of steel?!
How would have YOU cut through it?
I highly doubt even an angle grinder would have been significantly faster!
Maybe a plasma cutter - but not by much!

It's a damn thick metal piece. It performed well in my opinion.

I used to have one and it cuts fast I don't know why you say it cuts slow. Maybe you were cutting very thick metal or your blade tip is dull out.
