I’ve used a similar Diablo blade on my standard saw. Probably not as nice as the evolution setup but worked for my 2 cuts I needed to make
I believe those are speed matched for higher rpms.
A lot of people put a metal blade on regular circular saws and like you said, that's not ideal, glad with they came out with a purpose-built saw for that.
You've got to be careful of the RPM.

Most of the videos I’ve watched with this saw are cutting larger gauged steel and I work with. What are the pros and cons of cutting 16 gauge sheet steel with this saw?
None, I've cut a thin as 20 gauge with zero issues.
IDK 🤔🤔🤔 I still can't think about not using my regular cut off saw 🤨

Easier than Gas or plasma. Doesn't cut hardened steel.
