I would love to see how you handle Yazma! Watching this video taught me a lot, and gave me an idea on how to heal through Yazma in general, making use of Leaf, Life Cocoon and Chi-Ji, but what I struggle with is making sure I don't get wrecked by spiders, so if you have any pointers on that, I feel a lot of us could learn from you!

Could you please please please show us how you do the last boss of Everbloom ive already bricked multiple 24's this week I heal all the other ones flawlessly using ur technique's pretty much. just that last boss... It feels like the big add casts are to rapid combined with the big slam of the boss. I cannot use Gift twice and it just feels messy. Love your guides as always. I feel like my mistweaving levels up with each one I watch thanks to you always talking about the synergies you can use to get more bang for your buck. Gotta say, I never knew those ghosts in soulbound were based on heal aggro. That makes so much more sense why doing soulbound Goliath with a DK always seems easier.
Great content! I made the jump to main MW this tier for the Monk buff, but i love it. While I feel very confident in raid, M+ is still a bit daunting and this is exactly what I needed to feel a bit more comfortable!

For me (a new player of MW Monk) the hardest encounter is Manifested Timeways with the Afflicted Affix. Healing there is tough as far as you need to keep an eye on your position, the position of both dps for cleaning and the afflicted souls, bc the ancient teachings do not affect the souls (if im not wrong) You need to stop the damage (which heals) for do two well timed dispels and heal two souls without that dispel while a bullet hell occurs. So stressful.
What I think woudl be really cool is a similar format but for raid bosses where you go over certain mechanics that mistweavers are good at dealing with or how you can deal with the harsher mechanics. Of course raiding kind of suffers from the fact that there's different mechanics to look out for based on what difficulty you're doing, whereas m+ doesn't really change much outside of damage and health values on enemies, plus the affixes of course. But I think it would be really interesting as I've found myself having a hard time figuring out how to properly time cooldowns on some raid bosses during our HC progression.

You're still playing Leaf trinket even if it's not "ideal" on paper, and nowhere to be seen on sites like Subcreation, is it because you need the extra HP to handle lethal mechanics at the higher level ? You should have every possible trinket by now, so it must be the choice of reason. Thanks again 🙏
Meg does mention it in the video, but it's to have an additional external to help the squishier classes live through things they wouldn't have a defensive for and such. No need for throughput if people get 1 shot ^^
it's a high key thing in specific places where not getting oneshot matters more than throughput. It has very short cd so it can be up very often for those situations.
the leaf is good because of the versa buff it gives afterwards. i tend to give my dh the leaf if he gets a mechanic so he can burst afterwards. if you combine it with the tyrstone trinket they even get a haste buff if im right. so youre boosting dps and give a little cocoon with 1 minute cooldown. i find it veeeeery usefull and good to play with
The Rise and Fall portal gauntlets always seem to get me. I'm having some issues sustaining group-wide healing past cleaves and SCK. I try to pace my healing with Chi-ji, Gift and spam EF on cd. But i always end up using Cocoon and Revival halfway and running out just before the last packs. Unfortunately i don't have any logs to paste. But I'm wondering if it may be because of low haste? (i know it's a big problem, I'm at 24%, gearing has been slow) Or if there is something more fundamental I'm doing wrong here? Either way, thank you so much for these videos, it's the first time I'm playing a healer and thanks to your videos I'm running +20s now after a month of Mistweaver. Couldn't have come this far without your videos. EDIT: Spelling
Hi, try not to run essence font in keys as it's not mana or healing efficient (as a one of maybe but not on cd). You get the healing hot of essence font through your faeline. Are you using chi ji cd correctly if in a heavy burst window? TP>BoK>EvM. This gives way more chi cocoon healing 😊. I hope this helps and feel free to ask more
@@madhudson1it’s a bad trinket for pure throughput, but there are a lot of situations in higher keys where throughput isn’t the problem so much as one-shot potential. The leaf really saves your squishy classes (mail wearers, mage) from getting one-tapped
I only struggle with Yazma but it depends on group coordination which is very poor at pugs. There is nothing to do when peps go into spidy and get one shotted. However, i would like to know how you handle this boss at high keys. Thank you.

Nope, Chi-ji is always better in M+. You can prehot through Chi-ji if you want, but there's no reason to run Yu'lon since Chi-ji can do anything Yu'lon can (and more)

I do have a question, why would we ever cast either vivify or enveloping if we can simply insta cast it with soothing mist? I get that soothing and other ability is 2 gcd's but other two have a cast time so they even out yet with soothing mist we always get this one tick of the channel, only reason i can think of is mana but throughout my recent journeys in 20'ish lvls i rarely ever Had to drink anything but my mana tea
Think about the globals like this (tiger palm is your next non healing global): | Vivify | Tiger Palm | SooM | Vivify | Tiger Palm | Vivify | Vivify | Tiger Palm By pressing SooM, you're essentially spending a whole global on the healing of 1 tick of SooM. The value comes from when you channel SooM for longer than 1 global and get it's healing + the globals you were already planning on spending on healing that one person. Enveloping mist you should really only be using as an instant cast when you have Chi-ji. Let me know if that makes sense to you.
He’s running the alternate to ice block (ice cold I believe is the name) so no immunity, he got Enveloping Mist, chi harmony, a 10 stack of SG, and an instant vivify
Hey Meg, so update from when you helped me out a month ago. So many of those profiles are SO GOOD and helpful. I used most everything you put in that guide. I wasn't a fan of the vertical bars so I swapped them for LB's weak aura, but I love the faeline aura, it's so clean and useful. ElvUi is so nice it's clean and does everything needed. Your vuhdo is absolute perfection, the only thing I changed is making the bar light up when they have chi harmony so it's easier for my eyes but I haven't changed anything else. It is super nice of you to share your UI willingly with the public, I get why people put it behind a pay wall but for someone without expendable funds for stuff like this it is super helpful and absolutely assisted in pushing me past the +15 barrier and starting to hit +20 and above. Only damage you gotta heal in the first phase is the single target for whoever is targeted, hard spam single target on them, the second phase is the toughest, single target like before then you have to set up a pre heal for the tornado phase on each player depending on your class, use an external defensive on the player with the mark
Genesaur is BIS for sure so keep that one on at all times. Seedling is B tier, so its not great but not the worst. You would definitely benefit from Echoing Tyrstone (Dawn) or Sea Star from Throne. Both those are alot better than your Seedling for sure
@@Nyeusi tyrstone is sim bait a lot of the time. the other one i can deffo see using as I also have heroic pips so might go back to that. I mainly use seedling as a zen pulse target for big packs or if I just want to throughout on large AOE damage like iridikron/tree boss it feels nice just to soom and vivify and keep the whole group up.
I'm no expert but getting echoing tyrstone should be a priority just from the emergency healing followed by haste aspect of it. I am also running fyrakks tainted rageheart and it is so damn good in M+, which I am lucky that neither of my guild tanks wanted so I got it in our raid. Turns you into a tank and can give you a huge increase in DPS. It almost always ends up on my top 5 sources for both healing and DPS for dungeons. I never need to use cocoon on myself anymore and it makes Galakronds blight so much easier since I can pop it and just hold the corruption for high damage portions of the fight. I was running genesaur but once I got my total Crit up above 30, I felt like it wasn't giving me much return. Cannot stress it enough, set your loot spec to tank for fyrakk every week and clear him on any difficulty since it is a rare drop so even on normal it will be hero track.

Yep, and our FLS reset chance is so high there's not really a time where you are caught without it

New mistweaver here, do you use any healing addons like healium or healbot? I have vudo but i am still trying to figure out how to set it up.

What is the dungeon tracking addon you are using that's overriding the blizz one?
The timers? Big/Littlewigs, otherwise I don't know which part you're talking about

Hey Meg, so update from when you helped me out a month ago. So many of those profiles are SO GOOD and helpful. I used most everything you put in that guide. I wasn't a fan of the vertical bars so I swapped them for LB's weak aura, but I love the faeline aura, it's so clean and useful. ElvUi is so nice it's clean and does everything needed. Your vuhdo is absolute perfection, the only thing I changed is making the bar light up when they have chi harmony so it's easier for my eyes but I haven't changed anything else. It is super nice of you to share your UI willingly with the public, I get why people put it behind a pay wall but for someone without expendable funds for stuff like this it is super helpful and absolutely assisted in pushing me past the +15 barrier and starting to hit +20 and above. Thank you!!

Have tips on healing through Shade of Xavius? He's easy until Feed on the Weak is ticking for 400k
Depends on the healer, but see who he’s targeting and use an external and spam your single target on that player
what about the third boss of galakronds fall? I feel like its really hard because alot is going on or maybe its just me :c
Only damage you gotta heal in the first phase is the single target for whoever is targeted, hard spam single target on them, the second phase is the toughest, single target like before then you have to set up a pre heal for the tornado phase on each player depending on your class, use an external defensive on the player with the mark

what trinkets do you reccomend for m+ I'm currently running seedling and genesaur.
Genesaur is BIS for sure so keep that one on at all times. Seedling is B tier, so its not great but not the worst. You would definitely benefit from Echoing Tyrstone (Dawn) or Sea Star from Throne. Both those are alot better than your Seedling for sure

the other one i can deffo see using as I also have heroic pips so might go back to that. I mainly use seedling as a zen pulse target for big packs or if I just want to throughout on large AOE damage like iridikron/tree boss it feels nice just to soom and vivify and keep the whole group up.

@@Nyeusi yeah but the main tank I play with is a blood dk so a lot of that would be wasted for me
I'm no expert but getting echoing tyrstone should be a priority just from the emergency healing followed by haste aspect of it. I am also running fyrakks tainted rageheart and it is so damn good in M+, which I am lucky that neither of my guild tanks wanted so I got it in our raid. Turns you into a tank and can give you a huge increase in DPS. It almost always ends up on my top 5 sources for both healing and DPS for dungeons. I never need to use cocoon on myself anymore and it makes Galakronds blight so much easier since I can pop it and just hold the corruption for high damage portions of the fight. I was running genesaur but once I got my total Crit up above 30, I felt like it wasn't giving me much return. Cannot stress it enough, set your loot spec to tank for fyrakk every week and clear him on any difficulty since it is a rare drop so even on normal it will be hero track.
