@@aralee6797 I am certain. Paralysis will not prevent combat from triggering if you get too close (like DH imprison) so you can still aggro mobs that are in Para but Para the ability itself will not trigger.
One of the best parts of maining Mistweaver this season is that Megasett makes videos for Mistweaver. Thank you for the amazing content you give the MW community 😊
Used to main Rsham for years, and you are literally the only reason i gave MW a try 2 seasons ago and since then i never swapped classes again. God good there is just something about instant casts gameplay and punching your targets to heal the hunter in narnia, i will die fistweaving in this game, it is literally the most fun i’ve ever had playing and i still do every day. Also i know its situational and not usually taken talent since its RNG, but the feeling when you are in a 10+ mobs pull and you Jadefire stomp into RSK dance proc and u heal full party from 20% to 100% in a second is always gonna be so stupidly satisfying oh my lord. Thank you for everything you do, you’re amazing, funny and an absolute gem to mistweavers.
Thanks for all you do Meg! I wanted to say that I like playing a different healer each season BUT I still watch your guides. I have a special place in my heart for monks because of you. I'll be leveling up a monk after I play rsham for a couple months.
Thing i love the most about your guides and your content about mw in general is that you dont post stupid thumbnails promoting OP builds and GAMECHANGING buffs. Keep it this way, you're an absolute gem in this community
To my favourite Mistweaver player, thank you so much for your guides Meg. 🎉 It is highly appreciated, and I look forward to them every tier - and when changes happen! Keep doing what you are doing! - Mao
Wow, your guide is very impressive! Makes me wanna try out monk healing again. I did about one dungeon years back and didn't understand the class at all. After that I've seen some monks do amazingly while other completely lack in every aspect. I suppose this has to do with the unique playing style which you explain very well here. Thanks!
Thanks for the video, just started healing first time ever and on a MW class;im new to both. I just got to say its very fun class to play and this guide helped a lot, appreciate it.
thx to you when i start play monk i could get every usefull information and finish the season with 3k6 s3 (pretty happy about it knowing was hard to go higher with work in the midle 😂). keep going, love the way you focus on every important point always great vidéos 👍
Great Video and i have to say, the stylistic direction the channel is taking is absolutely great. i *love* the background with the music and the whole theme, especially with the new profile pic. Really cool :D
Came across this channel trying to learn this spec. SUPER helpful and makes it look fun. Going to keep at it till i get this down, Appreciate the guide. Earned a Sub.
Thank you for the guide! I'm a really scared and easily confused Priest who aspires to graduate to MW someday, your content has been a good foot in the door.
Thanks for this meg! You make me wanna main mistweaver so badly and its so hard for me to play but this huide really made me understand more im still meh atm but truely helped ❤
I have picked mw to give it a try this season, I play mostly other classes dps but have enjoyed holy pala a lot in the past and had an itch to return to healing, saw the spec was interesting and have been trying it out and enjoying a lot, was a little confused (and still am lol) about how to efficiently playing it, this video is awesome and I'm super excited to learn it all (it seems like a lot but i like the challenge). Awesome video! Subbed and followed on twitch ;)
Found out about you from The Poddy C. After hearing you talk about how fun monk is there I finally tried it. And boy oh boy you were right. I’m now a reformed Resto Druid Main to Mistweaver Monk main. Just stopping by to say thanks.
What a great guide! I’m quite new to healing but I really want to give Mistweaver a try because it looks really fun and I like the theming. The guide was very easy to understand and well put-together! Would you consider maybe uploading a walktrough from an actual M+ (when they’re available) so that the concepts presented in the video could be demonstrated? I think it would make things even clearer. Great job!
I think Jade Bond might see play in TWW if you play CotC. You can still cover every 30 second damage event via chiji, sheilun's, and CotC if alternated properly-- and this allows chiji to become substantially more powerful in M+. The CDR provided by Jade Bond brings the CD down just enough
Have not leveled a monk in WoW yet. I was very against the whole mop expansion but here we are in 2024 and I’m ready to keep an open mind and maybe give this a try.
Another good thing to note might be, that if you have misplanned or accidently used your cds and dont have anything for group wide dmg that is coming up, storing 2 zen pulses and having renewing mist on everyone might get you through as well (but definitely not rely on it^^)
Omg. I thought mana tea and thunder focus tea were the same thing. I can't believe I've not been using mana tea in m+ and thinking my mana sucks for weeks now.
I really think people shouldn't sleep on Tea of Serenity (and the other alternative I forgot the name of). With the Gust of Mist mastery proccing on Rising Sun Kick the talent has become significantly better (and honestly I think it was a lot better than people ever gave it credit for in DF). When you do 3-5 Rising Sun Kick back to back the throughput, damage and Renewing Mist spreading is simply bananas there is some mana issues unfortunately (I really think Blizzard should lower quite a bit the mana cost of Rising Sun Kick or make it give mana back when used with Thunder Focus Tea eventually). I'm not saying it's the best build, but I really feel people are sleeping on a few capstones talents and over-focusing on Sheilun for instance when as good as it may be I don't think it's super vital quite honestly.
Great guide. I think you overlooked zen pulse cleave when responding to group dmg. I’d use those up before I switch to SM > apply HoTs, assuming I’ve done a good job of spreading RM.
I didn't want to overload people with info on passives but since ZP is a proc I also didn't include it since it will just be happening with Vivify casts. If I included every single interaction I think it'd be too overwhelming, even some people found this video to be "too much" info at once.
Right on. I disagree that the video was too much. I thought it was a solid overview. I just think ZP might be an exception; it’s pretty much a mandatory talent, and the cleave healing is the most potent move you can make before you start dipping into CDs. Either way, great video. Thanks for the reply!
Due to the cleave mechanics it has more potential healing than Yu’lon, but even with ST you can still effectively spread EnvM/EnvB how you would with Yu’lon without sacrificing the other healing profile and the anti root mechanics that come with Chi-ji
Hey Meg, thanks for the great guide. I got the Sif's Remembrance trinket from the ulduar timewalking raid. I am currently running with Empowering Crystal of Anub'ikkaj and Creeping Coagulum. But the ulduar trinket gives int by chance which is the main stat. Should i replace and of my trinkets for it? Also are there and timewalking trinkets which are better than the tww trinkets?
Considering what a massive amount of healing that gusts of mists is now, why isn't resplendent mists (30% chance for 75% more gusts healing) basically mandatory? That's over 20% more healing to gusts of mists
I hope you are still answering questions: for example im in an aoe scenario with 5 or more mobs and the group is also taking aoe damage and i pop chi-ji. Am i building teachings stacks and doing healing with spinning crane kick or with tiger palm and blackout kick? What is the the best way to get high hps with chi-ji in an aoe dmg scenario?
Thank you so much ! I just recently picked up mistweaver, and I really like it. I also was wondering, I feel like my instant vivify sometimes is coming back sooner than 10 sec. But I'm not sure why or if I am imagining things. Any ideas ?
When I picked MW up for the first time I got flamed in a very low key for being bad and just gave up on the spec. Then I found your channel and after watching your guides and m+ runs I hit 3.5k in my first push season ever! Thank you so much, please keep the content coming 🙏 Btw are there going to be some replacements for Ward and Rageheart in TWW? I kinda got used to them too much lol.
I am already feeling icky playing without soom for instant vivs available. I pug my higher keys and there seem to be groups where it is 100% necessary to take soom and then groups where you could easily go without. I cannot see myself dropping it easily just in case I get players that enjoy standing in all the fun ground effects in my group. Then again I haven't played with hero talents yet so maybe I will be changing my tune at level 80.
Thank you for this amazing guide ! I have one question about the 1 target dammage rotation : refreshing JFS for august dynasty proc (while tracking the internal cd of 8sec) should be worth or not ? And do you have a weakaura that track this internal cd (or is it worthless) ? HF everyone !!
I played mistweaver in shadowlands and a little at the beginning of DF. Omg how complicated this spec has become is really overwhelming. So many hidden passives…
Paralysis with Pressure Points will no longer trigger combat ~ now we can use this as a skipping tool and a soothe at the same time!
Are you certain? This is still happening to me as of yesterday 9/29/24. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?
@@aralee6797 I am certain. Paralysis will not prevent combat from triggering if you get too close (like DH imprison) so you can still aggro mobs that are in Para but Para the ability itself will not trigger.

"Liking the video" any% speedrun: 0:00 🎉
I went from never healing before to over 3300 last season after learning how to MW from your videos. This is some great stuff!
This was such a well made video, thanks for the great information Megasett.
Side note, her voice is so soothing, like a real life soothing mist.

As someone who is thinking of coming back to MW it is so nice to see that mastery is finally valuable.
First time MW into War Within, but I have watched you since DF. I am really looking forward to trying it, MW has always looked so cool to play.

Tysm! This is literally the guide that I've been looking for. In-depth and not super fast! Will definitely be watching your streams
Wow, this is an amazing guide! I’ve been away for 4 years and will be getting back maining my monk as mw so this helped alot❤
Omg. Thank you sooo much - I couldn't figure out why I always f-ed up the para/RoP mech in Mists. 🤩
Great guide, particularly the decision making chart and explanations.
Thank you so much Meg, you are so great for all us MWs!!
Thanks for the video.
I have to say I LOVE your Buff uptime and jadefirestomp WA´s.

Needed this, been away for 2 years. Is had it specs all wrong lol. Tyvm dude
Beautiful voice, I had to keep waking myself up!, awesome!, good job on all the info, much appreciated
Nice smooth and relaxing guide voice. More videos like these
btw- Clash is also a good addition for some dungeons because it acts like a pseudo-death grip + interrupt on a ranged mob.
your videos are like my bible every season. thanks so much!
Thanks for the detailled guide Meg ! You're a godsend to mistweaver community !
Really loving MW thanks to your videos
Thank you again! Best guide like always. Really appreciate it 😊

Great guide! Very well thought out and easy to understand.
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
gracias! por el video. ya lo esperaba, muchas gracias
thank you! I wouldn't know what to build
I love your content! Thank you for your detailed explanations.
Thank you, I look forward to playing MW coming from resto shaman in TWW
Thank you Megasett

Our goddess has released an amazing guide
Love your content, please keep it up!!!!
Running MW this season can't wait! Was raining disc priest but they big oof right now
I could listen to this woman talk about anything.

Awsome guide👍
Thx Meg you are the best , tu es mon héroïne 😘😘
Great vid, super helpful!
Thanks!!! My monk has only ever been tank but i my like to try this out for TWW
Great video, very informative
I just wish fistweaving wasn't the only option to heal M+. Great video and thanks for the content!
Great video keep it up 👍♥️💐
Dunno if you do this already but i think making some of the long form videos into a short would be awesome, like just the rotation ir something
Nevermind🙃 thanks for the tips and tricks

If you don't already try putting a compressor on your voice. like the chill informative vibe tho.
This was excellent! Do you expect many changes for 11.05?
Thank you! Jade Empowerment looks to be pretty strong so I could definitely see a world where we run that but no major changes to playstyle
Thanks Meg
thank you
I’ve played wow for a long time now and hands down as far as the healers are concerned mw seems the most complicated lol
It's definitely one of the more complicated ones! Lots of passives and interactions between many spells/talents
MW is so fun this season
Thanks
