Nummy has the best attitude towards the game. Hes excited to play whether he thinks he will lose or win. Thats why hes the best limited player. I love watching his picks and plays
Love when nummy is clearly enjoying a format and seeing you at #1 brings back memories of watching you play Kamigawa which is when I first got back into magic. Niceeee!
In game 2, you didn’t have to vengeance the double strike. You could have played unable to scream and saved the final vengeance. The 2 -1/-1 counters would have killed it. Same mana investment, better IMO
52 likes? Y'all love the nitpicks - even when wrong! As he notes seconds later when he explains why he chose the Unable for the Goat, the OP is BW, and so is about graveyard recursion. The entire design of the Plaything is that its meant for resurrection. Exiling it is better.
Thank you for this exploration of Dimir in Dusk! I just 3-0'd my FNM pod with a similar deck and took your picks and play tips into the event. Always great to hear your thoughts during draft, especially around what should wheel and which high value uncommons to prioritize in each pool.
Crazy last game! Some pretty cool games in general! I bet your final opponent was despondent when they saw #1 mythic as their opponent while they're only in Plat haha. Well played to them.
Game 3 was rough, but opponent playing at Platinum with a Doors alternate wincon sees they're playing #2 ranked seat in limited. Had to be a good feeling on their end.
I did two drafts today, leaning into esper-y enchantments. 7-1 for one and 6-3 the other. After all the drafts I've done so far, it's seems to be the most consistent color pie. Tho I feel the other strategies are good if you can get the bombs, but kinda only then.
The six mana mind control has only been relevant for me when I don’t have a lot of big things and need to take a Valgavoth or Altanak or some other overlord
Awesome, thanks! I figured it was something like that. Is there anything that signifies that in the draft screen, or do you just have to know your cards to know you already have 4?
Such blatant RNG manipulation on the draws it's almost sickening. You can practically predict what your next 10 cards will be from looking at the starting hand. How did Wizards defend this again? "You don't want real RNG!" Something like that.
I did the life gain math for the last game :
Opponenet - Gained 53 life
Nummy - Gained 43 life
Crazy game!
wowow absurrrrrd
The words "That's Magic baby" putting in so much work to keep Nummy sane after game 1
*slowly rocks back and forth in a fetal position*
"that's Magic, baby"
Dude extremely disciplined pack 1, I want to get on this level bad

"im fully prepared to draw all islands"
The best is now the officially the best.
"If there was ever a time to try Cursed Recording its probably now" (proceeds to play for rank 1)
Glad somebodies doing good. It’s a fun set but would be a lot more fun if I wasn’t spewing gems 😅
First game actually looks real familiar 😂.
Its been brutal out there 😩
Amen brother

"If there's ever a time to draft Cursed Recording its now." (Rank #2 Mythic)

The last game is probably the best game I’ve seen in this formar
Never doubted you for a second, written in stone since Sealed 1
0:01 The only thing left to remind us of SNC is this catchphrase now.
Congratulations! Love watching you play!

Statistically I think boros is doing the best, blue white has been best for me however
what a sick deck. and so dope to watch you pop off
that last game was incredible
I was about to comment about the floodpits drowner in the last game but you literally mentioned it as I was typing at 1:19:30 lol
Congrat No.👍🏻
congratulations man !
What overlay you using num? Could help us noobs out with all that analytic info on deck...
untapped.gg for the deck tracker
Great games, gg variance for those openers
You starting off every draft with all 5 colors makes me think I should stay more open - I lock in way too early
Last Game was really fun to watch
That last day was pretty intense.
Congrats Bro. Love the videos

How do you know what cards are still in your deck mid game?
#1mythic golden god confirmed
Nummy 1, baby!!
That first game.... Eesh. Rough.
Amazing last game!! Sheeeeeezze
#1, great format confirmed
I guess he wasn't lying when he said he solved the format😮
Can somebody calculate the chance of drawing that many lands in game 1? That was insane…
50/50
ash and nummy both #1 💪
Who's Ash?
@@sl3848 ashlizzle
I played against #2 today in an Ixalan draft when im gold lol
Mtg matchmaking gods do be like that sometimes 😢
Why does he say "20 gems" when he picks the white Leyline at 4:59?
if you already have 4 of a specific rare or mythic on arena and get another copy it automatically converts to 20/40 gems
Awesome, thanks! I figured it was something like that. Is there anything that signifies that in the draft screen, or do you just have to know your cards to know you already have 4?
@@ZacKennyjust have to already know you have 4
rank #1 at persevering through bad openers/mulls
Uno!
The forced losses and mana fucking are too often

MTG has been destroyed!!! All these broken cards and easy plays...my grandmother could play this now.
It's so hard to watch game 1. Mtg arena shuffler is a joke
Just because people don't understand the concept of randomness and probabilities.
