This song shouldn't work without those haunting harmonies. Great job fellas
It’s so lonesome by itself, we though it sounded really cool
Great voice! However, I would have loved to have heard backing harmonies in the chorus’s. Would have made it electrifying
Agree, it’s really all about that vocal harmony they had on the original.
Agreed and I prefer the dobro being picked roughly during the brief solo of the original BUT STILL EXCELLENTE!
Andy, like seriously, you need to record an entire album with this singer. The chemistry here is incredible!
Fkn love this. Im from the other side of the pond so not sure what constitutes good solid working class music in America but this must be close. Reyt effort lads👍
Dam! Where have I been. Completely missed this. Excellent job, fellas. I'll be back to listen to it again.
🤔🤔 wtf did I just hear? This is straight DOPE!!!! Nothing but compliments and respect.
Oh and yes I'm sharing this
Wooo mandolin man
Thumbs up for the players
just missing those beauty vocal harmonies
Amazing alternate version
I don't know much about music....but my ears loved this. From the instruments to the vocals to everything. Best cover of this song I've ever heard. Like I said, I'm not musician or nothing, but this is just wonderful to me.
Awesome!!
We can say they should have done this and that but they did it their way Blue Grass style.I love Fleetwood Mac and i love what these lads did with a very Lindsey Buckingham strong song.Well done Lads.
Beautiful!
Such a beautiful version!
Wow. absolutely fantastic. what really stood out to me is this is the first time i've heard a mandolin and thought 'that sounds great!'. haunting tone and fantastic playing of course. this is fine music.
Travis Toy!
Amazing cover.
How good is this?!
What can I say? WOW just WOW!!
This is superb! Makes me want to watch the whole concert.
Thanks! Album and film are available on Amazon and iTunes. Let me know what you think!
@@andywoodmusic will there be a dvd release? It's not available in the UK on Amazon :(
Wow! This is great!
I came looking for this, I realized the beginning of the song, it's strings, sound very eerie and like mountain music!
I would love to hear Stevie sing this with you this way. It would be amazing!
Fabulous just fabulous.
Awesome..
😍😛🤩
Real nice work by everyone- great playing and vocals are on point in this arrangement!
Nailed it.
Killin’ it!!!
DAMNNNNNNN! Fantastic!
Thank you so much for this version, very great interpretation of the song and I loved the ending!
Fantastic!
Andy Wood is human!!!! He's still a monster player though
Geez. That was perfect!
This is stellar!
Awesome!
Crushed it. Amazing!❤❤❤❤
goosebumps
Sweet! Jordan is an excellent vocolist.
Great version! The only way it could have been better would have been to include a banjo!
Very nice job👍
Fun times!
superb
Great interpretation. I kind of missed a fuller vocal arrangement but the rest was great. And hi Uncle Ben :)
Agreed, backing harmonies would have made this even better.
Needs more Banjo
Whoa! So sweet! Say, WHO is the Fiddle Player?!?
cool
So amazing. But why in the hell does he leave out „watch the sun rise“ i mean who covers a song and leaves out one line. That disturbs me.
Uncle Ben Eller sighting!
I love Bluegrass music but to me this has a much more Celtic feel than a bluegrass one
That's where bluegrass comes from
damn..unbox therapy can sing
Wicked!
Jon Benjamin has a band.
@beneller you didn’t get a solo man!
the bass is too quiet
Did they change the video? There was one where it started on the main singer more predominantly.
Where's the banjo?
Sorry, needs the thumping drums to add to the drama of this song.
kavos
Hey, I spy with my little eye... Ben Eller...
Not all birds fly south.
Weirdly I’ve not yet heard a bluegrass version I’ve not preferred to the original
Who is the singer?
Jordan Burris. He has an Americana band called Pale Root.
tee grizzley
The music was great, but I'm still adjusting to the song being sung by a male vocalist.
Let's invite Alison Krauss to help out with harmonies.
Isn't Lindsey Buckingham the lead vocalist on The Chain?
His voice is prominent in the refrain, but Stevie Nicks does the verses.
Craig Benz my dude Lindsey does the verses
@@craigbenz4835 lmao I hope you've not spent the last 40 years believing that
"...the chain will keep us together..." - only if the band play together. The first half is played in such a wooden, disjointed manner and is so slow that the magic of the original is lost. I nearly didn't stay for the second half, in which this band again fail to gel. That's what FM did so incredibly well.
its meant to start as a bluegrass ballad and end as a bluegrass double time jam. By "not playing together" well.... I dunno what you mean, as there are a lot of unison lines that the 3 melody instruments take and the rhythm section is keeping a great somber tempo going. if you don't like it, then thats cool, but the execution was on. Again its not meant to be a direct cover, but more a re imagining.
It's always the super religious folk that are so negative. Solid work Andy. You're an inspiration brother.
You took an AWESOME song by Fleetwood Mac and totally butchered it!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a disgrace. The second half of the song is even more of a cluster than the first. I am embarrassed for you.
literally who cares what you think. You're just another empty voice on the internet. You can't play, you don't create anything, and you simply don't like my version of this song. You need to put yourself in check, go do something with your life.
Andy Wood Music lol well said. I like this version, it’s good to see you’ve been able to make it your own and make it interesting. And yeah as you said some people don’t have a clue about music and just like to criticize
@@andywoodmusic You stole a song, butchered it and wonder why you are not a top or even known band. Where are you on the charts??
top notch trollin
