Colds are detox events ... Edmund Szekely (sp) is dubious at best🙄‼️ just like the seventh day adventist Ellen White and her head injured 'visions' of men being aggressive because of eating meat 🙄🙄🙄‼️ then the whole Kellogg association with her and his going on to create an economic machine from the grain industry and feeding the people like LIVESTOCK ‼️ the best logic I've found is that Ruminate stomachs create the dense nutrition most useable by the human digestive system. Sadly very few of us are brought up eating only meat ‼️ The fact that we are conditioned to eat mostly carbohydrates and plant material we aren't equipped to process nets a huge deterioration in the bodies ability to regain and restore function. There are a lot of factors to falling off the wagon as it were... Carb addiction is real. There are also many factors to detox cycles and things like parasites still thriving and possible sources of unfriendly bacteria like Dental challenges undiagnosed. As a 73 yo woman... I've been every kind of veg head 🤣‼️Even a year in the Raw Food era late 90's ... following the Boutenkos 'Raw Food Family' classes being held in Ashland Oregon. I thought that was the holy grail...for a year of some crazy metabolic changes. One huge detox even that started with Major Flu about 6months in... ⁉️⁉️⁉️ All that fruit sugar and green smoothie as well as sprouting all kinds of seeds... making nut milks 🙄🙄🙄‼️
I'm into my 9th month Carnivore 90-95% . I'm still using low temp pasteurized dairy and the requisite coffee or cocoa in the AM w/ whipping cream and honey. So far I've experienced some good recovery yet I also had my teeth restored so my health is improving from that as well . Unexpected health improvement from cessation of incontinence to regaining strength from a long year of attendance to my 94 yo mother thru her hospice and passing in late Apr '23‼️A year later I'm finally getting back to something like my normal weight and strength. Unlike many people I'm very slightly built and have trouble eating enough fat to keep the weight ON 💜

After 19 months on Carnivore, I can actually drink milk without any symptoms of lactose intolerance. I have been lactose intolerance for 4 decades.
I don't like the thought of killing anything to eat (including plants, just because they are not like us, does not mean that they are not alive and don't fight to stay alive, so I try not to be anthropocentric with regard to life forms), but I want optimal health. Carnivore has helped me completely resolve over 30 issues, and greatly improve an additional 10+ issues.
I take the Lakota and the Nakota and other Plains Nations as my example. They revered and respected the bison, but they still killed and ate them. Many members of Plains nations were described as being tall, strong, fast, handsome, with strong teeth and strong jaws. They weren't crippled over in pain, clutching their chests, having heart attacks. They weren't doubled over because of colon cancer. They reached an equilibrium with their environment and kept their population under control so that there were still 60,000,000 bison by the time the "settlers" decided to take the land away from the bison and from them.
Lierre Keith wrote a book you might want to read. It's called "The Vegetarian Myth". It presents the big picture. Don't fool yourself. Eating means death to something. It's a circle of life and we are part of it. We eat, and then we are eaten. The point is that we should be able to sustain the planet in such a way that as many species as possible can thrive. If you consider the soil to be alive with bacteria and teeming with insect life and plant life, and not just something to plant fruit trees and annual grains in, then us plowing it, exposing it to the elements and spraying everything with pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides just so that we can have our "karmically-free" "food" as we erode the topsoil and create deserts, then you'll start to understand how the cycle is supposed to work.
If the Plains nations living off the bison could be respectful and grateful, and not decimate and destroy the animals or their environment, so can we.

I was strict carnivore for two years and recently switched to more ketogenic way of eating. It’s so important to introduce new foods slow and in small quantities - I immediately started to binge large quantities of different plantfoods and my stomach hurt so much and I had some histamine reactions. After few weeks of experimenting I have no more histamine reactions and my stomach is pretty good most of the time. It takes time to adjust and to find what works for you.

When we feel off, it's natural to overanalyze the situation, but it's important to consider various factors that can contribute to that feeling. It could be our body's regular detoxification process, exposure to environmental toxins like EMF radiation or chemtrails, or other factors unrelated to our diet. It's crucial to maintain a balanced perspective and consider multiple possibilities instead of solely focusing on what we consumed.

You are your own worst enemy. Just do what makes you feel good. Some people can eat a variety of food, and it doesn't bother them. But if it makes you sick, don't eat it. I don't understand the "I am not really cured." The cure is the fact that you know other foods make sick! Something is going to have to die, not matter what value you put on its life in order for anyone or things to eat and survive, even plants. Life is brutal for every living thing. Just do your best to respect the life and sacrifice and go on. We were designed this way. Some us can eat anything and be fine. Unfortunately, not all of us are built like that. Just look at wild animals. They are eating each other! Good luck, and don't overthink this.

I haven't followed your "gut" journey in detail and just listened to one of them for the first time today. My gut feeling - pardon the pun, is, ditch Gluten (if you haven't already done so). If you're a beer drinker get rid of that too, gluten is in just about everything from soy sauce to yoghurt, oyster sauce, Mayo (except Kewpi mayo) tomato sauce, pasta, bread and so on. Finally, after 40 years of listening to my husband say (and hearing the noise and smell from the other end and the pain and the bloating, and the side effects of skin, mood, joints etc.) it was lactose, cruciferous or deadly night shade ........it wasn't. He has ditched Gluten and finally, I think we have nailed it!

I've enjoyed your videos for years. You have a wonderfully calming voice and it is very soothing just to listen to you talk, even about the bad stuff, the thoughts that maybe this carnivore thing isn't better than the vegetables. What you say is just like I am talking to myself. I am suspicious of all these great claims. I've been on carnivore diet for three months and the transition away from vegetables started six months ago. I was a pescaterian with lots of vegetables, juiced two gallons of organic vegetables every week for years and I was still sick--diagnosed with lyme disease by the lyme "specialist" and fibromyalgia by my primary physician. I took as much lyme therapy as I could afford but it didn't work. I've been suffering from lyme for six and a half years. I saw on the internet that all these folks were being healed from lyme by the carnivore diet and out of desperation, I got involved. They all seem so healthy and happy. I have not become healthy or happy on this diet, sadly. I was hoping that after three months I'd feel SOMETHING better. Maybe diet is not the answer. Maybe it's just because the world is in an uproar with all these warmongers plaguing the planet. It's an individual journey and I'm glad for those that have found their way, but I'm not one of them. I enjoyed your videos when I was a vegetable eater and I was glad to see and hear this latest one after not having seen you for a couple of years or so. One of your commenters said that we came here to suffer. I cannot argue with that after living on this planet for seventy five years of much studying and experimenting. I don't have the answer for anyone including my self. This whole food thing could be just some gigantic money making machine. Maybe these carnivore doctors are being paid off. I just don't know, but as you say, something just doesn't feel right. I'm going to try to stay on carnivore for another three months just to see if it might work for me by then. I've tried all the other types of diets. We need hope that there is a way for us. As for Jesus: Jesus is Just Alright With Me!--as the lyrics of the old '70's song goes. I wish you all good days ahead, in spite of our difficulties, and I'll leave with a quote from the famous author Sam Clemons: "Be kind. Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."

You need to add more animal fat, also the one meal and fasting can cause gallbladder problems and even stones. Bile is not being stimulated enough. So eat more fat start slowly and take betaine HCI. Fasting should be done at certain times and it should be 3 days or more depending on how much body fat you have to eat yourself. You are very lean so I would feast for summer and winter fast. Also get lots of Sun sun sun. We need to eat sunlight too. That is where most of the healing is. To much blue light and indoors is making us sick.

For me it basically boils down to this, I avoid eating things that I can't digest raw, this mostly means legumes, grains etc. If I break from this I will pay the price, mostly digestive issues or inflammation. I'm not saying everything I eat is raw I'm saying that foods that absolutely have to be cooked to be digestible seem to cause me issues. Which sucks because I love beans.

K, so I'm in the middle of another 100 day juice fast and I had A Food Dream. I was eating a REAL pizza with real cow cheese and real wheat and even real pork pepperoni. I would never eat any of that in waking life and haven't had pork in decades, but it was soooo real, so vivid, and so unbelievably gratifying. So a few days later I asked my Higher Self for another food dream and suggested lasagna lol. That night, I kid you not, I dreamed I was hunted down, killed, ground up into meat, and cooked into a lasagna. The lasagna was then fed to me a la Dream Magic. Well, it's lasagna and I'm not a coward, so I ate it 🤷‍♀️ So then they started hunting me again...! 😅

Good luck sorting all of this out. Two things I'd say:
    1) don't pay much heed to what a bunch of modern kooks say about what some guy or group of guys ate 2000 years ago. We know he ate a lot of fish, drank a lot of wine, and that what we eat wasn't at the top of the list of things he was concerned about. Everything else is about the subject of what he ate or didn't eat is highly motivated speculation. I'd ignore it.
    2) the sustenance of life requires consuming other life. it's actually kind of preposterous and egomaniacal that we dwell so much on it. We don't need to apologize for eating what thousands of generations of our ancestors ate.

Every time I eat vegetarian/vegan because I don't like the idea of the slaughterhouses and all, after about 2 weeks I start developing an intense craving for meat, especially red meat. It's like an instinct. After eating even something simple as ground beef with my vegetables and potatoes, I'd feel so much better the next day. I've done the same thing you have, experimented with diets, fad diets, for years before learning that - hey - perhaps my grandparents were right. They ate the traditional, nourishing, mostly unprocessed diet that most of my agricultural ancestors have eaten for millennia. Just eat your fruits, vegetables, homemade bread, nuts, seeds, butter, eggs, cheese, yoghurt, fish, meat etc. and you'll have a very well balanced diet that will keep you going. Don't overcomplicate it and stick to the rule of keeping it as unprocessed as possible.

Some of us just wither away on vegan diets. Mild crohns here and for whatever reason I just have more issues when I’m vegan than when I’m not. I’m not lactose intolerant but I get brain fog on dairy ever since getting crohns, guessing related to leaky gut.. also makes my inattentive ADD worse.
I feel sad for the animals, especially anything factory farmed. If I could go vegan or vegetarian and be optimal I would. I think for those of us who wish we could be vegan but can’t we should maybe look at the native Indians to see how they were connected with nature and treated the death of an animal for their survival with great respect. Joseph Campbell talks a bit about this, has a series of videos on RUclips.
