IF CAR INSURANCE IS OBLIGATORY AND THE GOVERNMENT FORCES YOU TO BUY IT, THEN IT SHOULD NOT BE A FOR-PROFIT BUSINESS.

Insurance is a government made monopoly. The government should never have been permitted to require insurance. Vote for our republic, vote for capitalism. Vote against required insurance. Vote libertarian. Gut Congress of both major parties.
If gov. Says you have to have it...then it.must be affordable...that's how it works in canada...they have limits on how much and when they can increase your insurance

We are required by law to have insurance but are basically punished for needing to use it
That's why you need to switch insurance every year.
What does that do?
The law not having a cap on what they can charge you is what makes it a scam

Was in accident, other driver cited & at fault, their insurance covered damage, but my insurance skyrocketed on next renewal!!! It wasn't my fault & my insurance didn't pay a dime!! I never even involved my insurance company. Was told their was a claim in national database that included my VIN, doesn't matter about details/fault or payout company. Like how is this fair, much less legal. Tried other companies for quotes, pretty much same response, VIN in system makes you high risk?? It's so wrong
All insurance is a scam, house insurance, car insurance.. They never want to pay out on claims either.
Exactly its like, you pay them all this money so that if something happens. They will come to the rescue and fix it all. But yet, when something happens, they do absolutely everything possible to try and not help you at all. Its a total disgrace, its like thinking a friend has your back, and in all actuality they were never your friend to begin with.
They also drag it out really long . Like years and years just to force you to take a fraction. The insurance can wait forever. You cannot
Yes more so lately they work together to screw the one that was hit! 😡
Health insurance too.

Insurance companies are acting like a monopoly charging whatever they want. They need to be investigated!
It’s cuz the insurance system as a whole is monopolistic. If you don’t buy insurance and choose to drive, the gov will put you in jail!

Insurance logic is so stupid also. We're charging you based on age, the type of car, and others who've messed up. When it should only be about your driving record. We should also get our money back if no accidents happened during our time with that company.
your driving record does factor in. i think insurance companies are scum but if you were insuring people would you really charge an 18 year old the same rate as a 50 year old with a perfect driving record?

1000% right. The electric cars also are the reason why insurance is so high but other peoples big trucks and suvs make us pay more for our own damn car.

Why do insurance companies own stadiums and arenas
This right here, because they took your premium and invested it got a return often enough to sponsor a team and stadium 🏟️.

It's all a scam. I had the car insurance provider (Geico) for over 15 years, different vehicles of course. Ever since the C-O-V-I-D crap it's doubled.
Used to have two full size trucks. 2018 & 2019. It was $123, each for both, full coverage but began to increase every time I had to renew.
A few years ago I sold both trucks & just got a used 2019 truck. They then turned around & DOUBLED my insurance for one vehicle!!
I was now going to have to pay almost $300 a month just for ONE! Fast forward today & the cheapest I could get insurance on the same truck is about $850/6 months with a $2500 deductible.
It's insane, clean driving record & no tickets. I'd imagine it's way more expensive if you have a dirty record, but why do us good drivers have to suffer??!!

Hey man! Good reminder, thanks. We’re on the brink of bankruptcy from medical debt and my dad can’t afford his current insurance. We’ve been thinking about switching, but didn’t know where to run. Paying $1200/ 6mo after 48 years driving. Never had an accident except for when a texting while driving teenager rear-ended him. Now we gotta scramble to find a lesser known company, if they haven’t been swallowed up by the larger ones in our area.
I agree 100% because i just had a shooting incident that bullets hit my house and some cars and my dad said he called insurance to try to help and they said if they cover it up, his insurance bills will go up so insurance never did anything at the end of the day disappointed.
"I called Flow that f....." hahaha 🤣
I am an insurance adjuster and I can tell you the reason why rates are going up. Car manufacturers have raised the prices of replacement parts 300% and 400% for parts to repair cars. Then there’s the tow companies charging $1000 for a 8 mile tow, body shops charging $250/day for storage plus every kind of creative fee they can dream up. And let’s not forget about the judicial hellholes all over the country (particularly in FL) in which the legislators and the personal injury attorneys collaborate and write the laws for their own business benefit to wring as much money from the insurance companies as possible. I am not lying. The gouging, fraud, greed and legal robbery is currently at a level you wouldn’t believe. Then throw a few hurricanes and hail storms on top of it all and unless the rates go up, then there ARE NO insurance companies. An insurance company is incentivized to keep rates as low as possible in order to grow. That’s how they grow, by attracting customers. When rates go up, people leave, so raising rate isn’t what an insurance company wants to do unless it has to. It isn’t greedy insurance companies trying to rip you off as you think. The fundamental business environment has become a culture of ripping off the insurance companies. Yes, you heard me right. It is THE INSURANCE COMPANIES THAT ARE GETTING RIPPED OFF. This is done by car manufacturers, body shops, tow companies, personal injury lawyers, chiropractors, medical billers, etc…and also insured individuals perpetrating fraudulent claims. I see it every day. These reasons, plus the increased cost of labor for repair technicians, carpenters, electricians, etc… is why rates are going up. The media, as well as people like you, love to portray insurance companies as the root evil and that is not true. Insurance companies are trying to survive just like everyone else. It is not insurance company greed causing premium rates to go up, it is inflation and the cost of doing business (which includes the vendor greed) that is causing rates to go up. Don’t be so simplistic and stop buying into the politicians gaslight diversion tactic that puts all the blame on the horrible insurance companies.
People are blind. Everyone thinks doctors and nurses are heroes while they are ripping us off too. The healthcare and education industries are ripping us off, not the insurance.
Seems a lot of folks drive like they do in GTA V. Full throttle burns, rollin coal, the whole 9 yards. This really sucks when they get behind granny going 25 in a 40, or barely reaching 35 mph coming off an onramp getting on a 70mph interstate. And they wonder why the rest of us drive like npc traffic lol.
Stop talking so much sense. That doesn’t jive with people’s feelings.
Insurance is the third biggest industry after banking and wall street, nobody ever rips them off! Lol! I have a 215 ins lic.

Amen brother! My kids and I just had this conversation yesterday including other topics of government corruption.
I own my classic 2008 Jaguar XJ8L Vanden Plas. I started paying 150 for insurance. Now it’s at 180 in two years. I own the car, and won’t ever sell it. It’s beautiful and pristine. I bought it from my rich girlfriend’s dad. He owns no new cars. All are old school Mercedes Benz and Jaguars. Pristine of course. I was so close to getting a new Range Rover, the insurance payment would have been 500 plus 900 monthly payment. But he sat me down and we discussed the financial implications. Thank God I followed his advice. It’s been a blessing. Even though I’m a software developer. A lot of us have been getting laid off. At the present nothing is secure. That’s the lesson I learned. Fly low always. Love your content.
Destroy the mafia insurance cop agreement to have mandatory insurance. Make it optional BUT when you get into an accident, you either agree on the spot who pays what sum or take it to court to see who pays what. And you'll see insurance prices go down to almost nothing. The whole reason they're so high is because it's mandatory
Love this idea!
I have a perfect record and been with the same company since 2008. I’ve had my car paid off about 2 years now. My insurance went up quite bit. YET they tell me I’m a loyal customer and getting all these discounts for staying with them. I’m not seeing any discounts. Insurance is a scam. Dont even get me started on homeowners insurance.
Please consider you may be getting cheaper coverage but those insurance companies won't cover anything when you actually have a claim.
Even the big ones do everything to squirm out of giving you a single dollar. It's not just the small ones
The car is paid off he is speaking of liability only
Appreciate it. Im paying $800 a month for 3 paid off vehicles. No accidents, no tickets. I tried all the big companies and figured id try The General. Wasnt any better. Ill try a hole on the wall.
This is the best video I’ve seen on the subject matter for the simple fact that you provided a solution. You were at least helpful enough to drop a company name, like ocean harbor insurance. All these other inept RUclipsrs make these “ top 10 most cheapest insurance companies of 2024” list. Including the same old usual suspects; State Farm, Geico, progressive, etc, like are you effin kidding me. All we’re just looking for are alternative companies that currently give affordable rates, so I appreciate you for at the very least dropping a name.
My insurance is about $800/year. The “life hack” is having an inexpensive car. It gets me from A to B exactly as well as a $ 100k car would.
I havent had car insurance since 2020. Absolute scam
I would HOPE you have liability. I'm all for railing agains the big companies for the premiums they charge, but not having any liability insurance and having something happen is not only illegal and totally IMMORAL if you damage others' property or worse, but you're setting yourself up for liability and criminal charges. A very close friend of mine was coming home from work a few years ago and a woman was on her phone and hit him on his motorcycle as she missed a stop sign. She had NO insurance and it basically ruined his life as he ended up losing his leg. Sadly, he couldn't work anymore even though he DID come back with a prosthetic leg, but he had too much difficulty. Eventually, cancer took him a couple of years ago. She ended up with a short jail sentence and was strapped with a huge lawsuit. It never ends well and it's NEVER good to not be responsible when we are driving around four thousand pound machines and we should at the very least have LIABILITY insurance for others' benefit.
@@dyates6380 Sorry about your friend, But I don't get what difference it would have made if the lady had insurance?
How do you get car registration without proof?
It’s getting to the point where people will be better off risking no insurance 😂
Until you hit someone and get sued you'd be surprised at some of the settlements attorneys manage to get for their clients, if you have no insurance you're royally F'ed, I'm likely biased as I've been a claims adjuster for a decade now but I wouldn't step foot behind the wheel of a car without insurance as the last thing I want to do is bankrupt myself for life because I bumped a car, they use no common sense when dishing out settlements so good luck representing yourself in the event someone sues you.

I currently pay $86 a month (full coverage) with a discount on a 2018 Toyota Tacoma base model. I currently reside in VA, I’ve had no tickets since I’ve been driving(I’m a 25 year old male). My provider has always been State Farm, I will say though that when I did live in Florida it went wayyy up.

Sounds like a lot, but it works out to $100 per vehicle per month for full coverage.
My guy did you even glance at the reviews of Ocean Harbor? 1.8 stars. Everyone hates them.
Here in UK a friend took out car Insurance from 1st Central after they gave the best quote on Comparison sites. They accepted her payment with no quibbles but after the policy had been running for one month they contacted her and asked for another £75 as they said that she had made an error on her application form and the £75 would cover their expenses. The implication was that if she did not pay quickly the policy would be cancelled with no refund. So far they have not responded to the question of WHY they did not check the application before accepting it and that if my friend had suffered an accident during that first month would they have refused to pay out, meaning that in effect that she was driving uninsured. This seems to have been a way of gaining business by undercutting other insurance companies and then slapping an additional charge on after the policy was up and running. SO BEWARE 1ST CENTRAL.
3200 for six months. No accidents and three people driving six cars. 5 cars with less than 2000 miles a year.
Getting a great deal. 150 a month for 100k worth of cars full coverage.
I'm with a big company but dated my agent.
When it was going well she showed me she can just make a few clicks it will be half the rate and they still make profit.
That's the good part of shopping around for pricing on insurance, Jack.
Car insurance has always been a hassle for many people for decades, and it keeps increasing along with inflation.
I actually remember when motorcycle insurance was not yet required by law, but it became mandatory the same year I got my motorcycle license in my state.
Here's a hack on car insurance. Reduce your reported mileage driven on the policy from 12,000 to like 3,000 a year. That'll drop your premium big time. I pay $300 for 6 months in Los Angeles for just liability. My car is old but it's big and could do some damage in a wreck. If you get audited, pull a Ferris Bueller, crack that odometer open and roll that shit back.
You wont outsmart them. It does not change the rate much anymore
I did that mine was under commute changed it to pleasure/ personal and dropped the mikes from 12k a year to 7000 it only went down like 60 for a yearly policy
