Small Biz Millionaire Ep. 5: Social Media

Folks what I want to talk about today is social media.
1️⃣ Facebook.
2.32 billion users monthly, you can do everything you want on Facebook.
You can market, you can advertise, you can sell things, you can keep up with your customers,
you can send videos, you can do anything you want to keep up with your family,
Facebook is huge out there, it is actually the biggest platform that grabs the biggest number of users worldwide.
Note that Messenger, 1.3 billion users, of course Facebook owns Messenger too, that's that little icon in the right hand corner of your Facebook page.
2️⃣ Instagram: Instagram is kind of like a short version of RUclips.
You do a quick video, you get it out there, you know people follow you, people see it, you get to say something real fast, and Facebook owns that too - that's the reason I got all three of these together.
3️⃣ RUclips: RUclips is one that a lot of us are defintely familiar with,
I think RUclips came onto the scene somewhere around 2005, and it's owned by Google,
we all know that it's owned by Google. The thing about RUclips, it's got two billion
monthly users or active users that are registered with them,
and I think that's a lot.
But what I really find amazing is RUclips is watched by over a billion hours daily.
Think about that: RUclips is watched a billion hours daily.
I did the math, that's 416,667 days of RUclips watching per day.
That is 1,140 years if you put it all together of RUclips watch per day, that's an amazing platform.
And another thing about RUclips, you can use RUclips on your social media, you can also put RUclips's out there on what you do, and a good thing about RUclips is after you get a thousand subscribers you can monetize it and you can make money off RUclips, which will actually help pay for Facebook and some of these other things that you may actually be doing.
4️⃣ WhatsApp: They have 1.6 billion users.
That's a pretty good app to have, I didn't really use it much myself because it just kind of got really going when I was thinking about selling my business.
It's good for customers, It's good for businesses, It's good for a small community for people to keep up with, and really it's good for customers and good for your employees.
5️⃣ TikTok.
We all know about TikTok, It's a quick 30 second little video that you can do of whatever you're doing.
Some of them are hilarious, there are animals, people running, kids, dogs, cats, it's all kinds of stuff. It’s a China based company, but anyways, very popular.
6️⃣ Twitter: We all know about Twitter. Twitter's been around for probably I guess nine
or ten years now, maybe a little bit longer, they have 330 million users a month active on their accounts, on Twitter.
It's a good quick social media blog to to say whatever you want to say, you can put it on your website, it's also good to build your online presence. Twitter is really good for that.
7️⃣ LinkedIn: We all know about LinkedIn is, that's a business-to-business website. And I was reading that 92% of people that do business to business prefer LinkedIn, because it's so user-friendly, it's just out there.
They also have 303 million active users.
We actually use LinkedIn ourselves, we did use some of Twitter too.
8️⃣ Pinterest, we didn't use much of Pinterest, I know that's a different platform for recipes, dresses, flowers, etc.
I know a lot of people that use it and I personally use it every time I need a recipe.
I like Pinterest, I just didn't use it in my business.
9️⃣ Telegram: This here is really a good one to have, I recommend this.
This encrypts, any time you send a text, voicemail, a video, it encrypts it and sends it to whoever you're sending a message to and they have to decipher that. This is actually outlawed in some countries.
It has over 200 million active users here in America.
So if you need to have private text where it's not out there and for the world to see, use this right here, I recommend it highly.
I just pulled up some of the top ones that we talk about and you can tie all of these to your website.
In the next video, I'll talk about how you can tie all the stuff with blogging and the videos
and turn them into your website so you can make more of a presence.
What you want to do is be a dominant player. You want to be an authoritative website in the area that you're at.
So anytime people Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google anything, that you show up.

Your calculation on RUclips hours was off by a factor of 100. In other words the true number of days or years is actually 100x greater than what you wrote. It is 114,155 years worth of RUclips per day or 41.66 million days.
