Bill, you can adjust the steering stop so that the controls do not make contact with the tank. I had to do it on my SF which is the previous gen to yours. My horn button would come into contact with the tank and it actually chipped the paint on the tank. I wasn’t having any of that so I purchased a new fuel tank from Ducati. The quality of finish on Rizoma parts is second to none.
I can’t get enough of your Ducati SFV4S bro that bike is a DREAMMM!!! don’t you think that new bar would be on your way and you won’t be able to see the TFT screen clearly?
Hello and thank you for your videos they are really great. I also want to install this system. I had a question are the 4 original screws compatible with the Gilles tooling adjustable handlebar ?
Good show and explanations. From the camera angles it looks like you are blocking bottom of the TFT? Also is it less comfortable at speed as you sit more upright or can you still tuck in Ok? I would emagine comfort is better at lower speeds. Thank you.
Hey buddy, love the look. I own a Monster 1200 like the one you reviewed just recently . The riding position on that with the stock bars just don't feel sporty . Do you think adding the drag bars would make it feel more superbikeish? Handleing with the stock bars just feel slughish i wanna say? Thank you sir.
That looks great - worth the effort. With the bar end mirrors looks great. Be interested to see if there is any additional buzz through the bars. If I get a SFV4 (so hard to decide, no rush) this will be a mod I will do albeit the drilling part I will leave to someone with skills and tools. I could see these being a popular mod if the riser and bars (pre-drilled) were available. BMW kicked a goal with the flat bar on the R!
@@jeffh278 I share your opinion, the exhaust, wrap and bar is not my bag but if it makes him happy....hell yeah. And we get to see a different bikey then ours.
Awesome, this is the mod I've been wanting to do. Thanks for this!

👍
Quick question. What is the benefit of having low bars. I literally have no idea and knowledge about it.
More weight over front for less wheelies, better feedback when pushing it on the track, puts you lower in the wind, looks way better
@@jeffh278 ahhhh I see awesome 👏🏽 thank you for the insight
That. Kinda tips the geometry down. Bikes turn on the nose.
Thank you for your videos man! I appreciate you
This means a lot, thanks 🙌
Looks like the risers block the dash a bit? Especially since you moved it up? Is that just the camera angle or how does that look while riding?
Remember the camera is on my chest
@@CaliMotoTV Still would be interested to see how it is while riding
I’d love to see you convert to clip-ons.
I've seen one and I don't like it at all.

No you can see it fine. Remember the camera is on my chest
@@CaliMotoTV sorry cause I didn’t watch the whole video before commenting 😅 I’m still watching it.
@@CaliMotoTV it looks RAD 🤘🏻😎
Looks great, job well done 👌👍.
Could you list the size of the drill holes? I'm doing this on my 22 sf.
I've been leaning towards the puig 7492 bars with 5mm rise for my tuono
👍👍👍

Looks awesome! I have the same bars but can’t find good bar end mirrors, what do you have on there ?
Great vid... thought u were getting v2 sf? U got one coming or am I mistaken dude
We did have one on order... TBD
I am off to my Ducati dealer this morning - they have a demo on stock - sadly raining so they will not allow demos today (their insurance policy)
Isn’t the bar now covering the dashboard?
No it doesn't block the dash.
What kind of mirrors are those?

You need to see the air compressor trick for removing and installing grips. Much faster/easier than pulling or cutting them off ;).
I just saw you made your way around to the grip trick at the end hahaha
looks good but the controls are turned up to high, need to redrill some holes to set them at stock settings. but your bike looks awesome!
How’s the suspension tuning going ?

Not sure the review is like 1.5 years old lol
Bill is building the perfect SF

We'll report back about vibration, if any. Stay tuned.
One more thing, thats a hell of a tan you got. Im
Jealous
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Hahaha
👍👍👍
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Half joke but the reason why Ducati is financially doing well is because the fact that the bike does not come from the factory like this lol
😅😅😅
The only thing you are accomplishing is blocking the dash

That's low blow I'm only 3'9

Seems like a lot of time and money to make a bike look worse 🙄
Chill it’s a beast

I don't care for it. The factory moto-bars look better. I own an SP Streetfigher and its staying as is.
