Kudos for the care you take protecting painted parts while working. Top mechanics.👍
Thanks mate. So many parts to take off we had to be very careful.
Thank you for all the care you’ve taken, it looks and sounds even better in person, still can’t get the smile off my face.
First class service and fantastic people...
Thanks Stuart for the kind words. Its pretty good how you have this moment filmed so you can see your new bike being modified in years to come. Cheers for the opportunity to do it for you mate.
Todd.
The care, and knowledge, demonstrated is most impressive.
Thanks heaps!
The best video on installations....
Sent here from Andy’s motorcycle obsessions, the bike looks Awesome.
It was good of him to give me a shout out and send some of his viewers across. Top bloke for doing it for me.
This video is like asmr for bikers; therapeutic AF!
Nice clean job👍
You are a good mechanic brother, excellent attention to detail. Bike looks awesome.
Thanks Phil. That was a big job !!
😳 And I thought all them items got fitted at the factory. Well done 👍 hats off to you guys .
Cheers for the comment Steve 👍
On my 2024 SF V4, or any bike I’ve ever owned, my principle is always-
Never add or change out a part which adds weight, even an ounce, or which is cheaper in quality to stock part. Also, too many mods lowers resale value. My mods are lowered seat, tail tidy, black Rizoma (Ducati) pegs. One exception- installed factory smoked windscreen which added a lot of functionality.
Another big set of jobs completed mate. It is one hell of a weapon!!
Thanks again Dave. Yes it was a huge task.
Wish I saw heated grips needed to be enabled before I left the dealership with the new bike!
Yep they need to enable it for you
Looks rad mate. Those heated hand grips would be worth every cent I’d imagine!
They didnt work at the start and I thought I had wired them up wrong. Bike needs to be running to allow them to heat up. I suppose it stops you draining the battery when your key is on but the engine is off.
Toasty as.
Very tasteful mods
The rizoma stuff is soooo lush! Beautiful work from them
The rearsets are beautiful. Top shelf items for sure.
I guess Im asking randomly but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account??
I stupidly forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Maverick Moshe Instablaster =)
@Muhammad Gatlin thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm.
Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Muhammad Gatlin It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass!
Absolute perfection
Thankyou such a beautiful bike to work on.
Excellent installation/mechanic work! Attention to detail in your work. Hard to find Mechanics that take pride in their work and how they respect other people’s machines when installing parts. Would you happen to have the Torque specifications on the rear sets? Appreciate any information. Thank you for the great video!
Thanks for nice comment. Generally the torque for an M8 bolt is 25NM and a M6 is about 9NM. Hope this helps.
@@turbobike749 Thank you very much!
Amazing job from spain
Thank you !
Like the editing style of your vids.
Glad you are enjoying them Jim. Feels like the editing takes longer than the actual mechanical bit. I'm trying to do a good job of it. Thanks for the comment.
Lord between those parts and the exhaust I know it looks and sounds great
It sure does !
Sounds like MotoGp !!
Could you share torque specs for all the bolts? Thank you
Good work!@ Can I install the heated grip to my panigale V4s?
Hello, I had a look and it doesn't appear that ducati make heated grips for the panigale V4S. Maybe aftermarket grips may be only option.
Or
Heated gloves could be a great idea mate. Lithium batterys and work great
Hi, here from the UK - loving your work and content!
Do you know where you got the chain guard from that’s near the rear sets - looks epic but I can’t find it online anywhere l.
Hi Gav. That chain gaurd comes standard on the Australian models.
@@turbobike749 Thanks!
Do you have a part number, I’ll ask my dealer if he can get one.
Also, don't know if it was an issue with this model, but what's the throttle slop like? My Diavel was terrible, throttle spacers for the win, so much better to ride - best cheap mod.
Definitely a great modification to the Panigale.
Hi bro really superb video but what fuel cap system is that.
Hey I noticed when you installed the heated hand grips you installed a thinner spacer, I ran into a problem where I don't have the spacer, any chance you might still know where to order one?
I'd noticed a cover on the chain..where can I get it?
Man I’d love to see a walk through of the dealership. Also heated grips I was always under the impression that it stayed warm down under most of the year. Is that just a misconception from someone from the US.
Heated grips are great when it's raining. Keeps your hands nice and toasty. Also a plus too with cold morning rides.
She gets bloody cold down in the South West of Western Australia especially in winter!
The Multistradas have the hand guards too. Nice on the cold mornings.
Spring is on the way hey Shane. Beautiful days and cold mornings and arvos.
Camping and road trip weather !!
:o
:)
Which brand is the chain protector (chain guard) near the left rear set? It's not nice but wise.
Hi Michael, these are the standard chain protector that the bikes have fitted from the factory. We received the bikes like this to pass Australian licensing requirements.
@@turbobike749 Hi, I downloaded the spare parts catalogue from Ducati Australia but I could find this peace. I'm talking about the metal one between sprocket and swingarm to cover the chain.
@@turbobike749 I have to apologize, my fault, I found it meanwhile. It was on a second exploded drawing. The chain cover itself is 44610531AA and the needed different chain slider is 44712381A. Only for someone who is interested as well.
@10:18 WTF? There's electrical tape wrapped around the throttle connector that isn't plugged into anything...
I used tape to pull a loose wire through so that the new throttle wires can be located in the original routing. It needed to travel under some other components etc.
Do you know the part number of the rearsets? There seems to be 3 different types. Thanks
Sorry mate, not sure what they are.
@@turbobike749 no worries. I bought the rizoma ones
GP-Shift ?? Looks like you did standard
Good spotting mate. Yep just stock shift pattern.
What did you spray into the headlight loom at 13:06 ?
That's called Proprep by silkolene. Is a protection spray for the bikes. It was used to make dash panels be fitted easier so rubbers arent dry and grippy.
@@turbobike749 Great thanks for the info!
What tail tidy did you use?
What device can I get to enable the heated grips?
Still trying to get the install file
Haha yep Michael that took a while but we got it done.
Hey Todd, do you have the links for the parts?
Hi Rafael, just get them through your local Ducati dealer mate. They were all genuine accessories.
What brand are the heated grips ??? Cheers
They are genuine Ducati ones mate
where you can buy it in chain guard?
That is a OEM part that is fitted to the Australian model bikes, before they are delivered to the dealer.
That swingarm protector is fugly as sin! It's obviously not of Italian design where simplicity and clean lines are important.
Hopefully it never needs to be used hey.
Which site you order this parts
These parts are available through your local Ducati Dealer.
Don't dropped!!!.....😭😭😭
Be warned Rizoma doesn’t send installation directions in the $1317.00 box, they still haven’t updated their website to download the instructions!!! Would be nice to be able to have step x step instructions??? People are just LAZY!!!!!
They have them on the ducati dealers website for us to use. Tricky to follow the destructions that ducati supply sometimes with this type of gear.
