I have to agree with you I tested both I felt bmw was way better ride on the street and way more comfortable And way cheaper But the price was not the problem I ended up getting the bmw love it Hands down the better choice
Having owned both, the Ducati by far,not just a bit, is miles morecomfortable, no you don't get cruise or heated grips or even a fuel gauge but that Bmw is like a medieval torture device in comparison to the comfy plush seat of the Ducati.
I have a 2023 Streetfighter V4 SP2, it's an incredible machine in stock form but with full exhaust and tune its an absolute riot. This thing makes power absolutely everywhere, sounds like a cage animal with one hell of a bark when you blip the throttle. The handling is super fast but a bit flighty compared to a sport bike. I've put 4k miles on mine since Oct. of 2023 and I've had zero issues so far. I almost bought the M1000R instead, so glad I went with the Ducati. In my humble opinion it's not even a close comparison.
I’m thinking of buying a SP2, 2023 version and most probably will keep it stock. Just wanted your opinion on the engine heat issue. I’ve read mixed reviews on this. Is the heat an issue or is this a myth and probably the same on all bikes? I live in the UK. Thanks in advance.
@@theperipateticgumshoe9047 I've got 6k issue free miles on mine. Replacing the friction plates should be simple and not to expensive. However the basket also gets abused and will likely need replacing every other clutch service. If you do the plates yourself it should be a couple hundred dollars.
I went SF because I'm considered a tall rider with 6"2ft or 187cm with a 33 inch inseam. It's more comfortable, has more legroom and my right heel is not resting on the exhaust. No fuel gauge, ok but you have a trip counter so you know when you see 200 km, it's time to refill. Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
You need to understand why they are blowing up. Brentune were increasing the rev limiter on the BMW and this was the main reason why the engines were blowing up. BT were offering an option to increase the rev limiter. All were track bikes
Subscribed n great review . I'll take the reliability of the Beemer although a few yrs back they had some serious issues with the motors. Hope it's hammered out
I’m confused when this gentleman says, you need to be an experienced rider to really understand and enjoy the Ducati. I am sure he too appears to be a decent rider on the track, not sure what his definition of a good rider is 😂. My first ever bike was a 900SS back in 1998. Loved the bike. I’ve owned and ridden all types and makes of bikes, done tens of thousands of miles but my heart always goes out to the Italian beauty. Yes they are expensive to buy and expensive to maintain but they have a soul which makes you want to ride them. I’m toying with the idea of buying the SP2 at the youthful age of 55 😂. I think the street fighter will be forgiving at this age.
Bmw I just a slip on end can (silencer) you change the headers on the bmw and you see a 46hp mid range gain instantly ! And pops and bangs charicator becomes amazing! Sorry tried hmthe ducati went fir thr bmw , don't regret it
@Lunaticstunter BMW is not a bad choice. Last I checked, it's about $4k cheaper, with more bells and whistles. Damn near the same power. I would easily pick up an S1000RR, if I ever gave up my street fighter. Enjoy!
No one cares if one is qtr sec quicker on track... one day we'll see real world tests on road.. doing side by side roll on in all gears side by side brake at line which stops best...one day a
Let's say you have more money then sense (and skill). You want to bimble around looking cool but you also want to be "that guy" when you roll up to a bike meet? Which would be the better poseur, sounds better when revving for kids and gets more attention?, therefore making your empty life feel better.
Ducati……Simply the best
I have to agree with you I tested both I felt bmw was way better ride on the street and way more comfortable
And way cheaper
But the price was not the problem
I ended up getting the bmw love it
Hands down the better choice
With cruise control, heated grips, and that display..... hell yeah hands down a way better choice

I have the original 22 sp and yeah I can vouch that it is an absolutely amazing machine!

@@Shafiq1969We've turned off the cylinder deactivation with my tune and the bike never gets overly hot.
How often are you replacing dry clutch plates? How much does it cost to do it?

Awesome comparison!
i will choose ducati 100cc everday if there was evermade than a 1000cc bmw😂😂 . ducati is ducati ❤❤❤ master of art and perfection ❤❤❤
👍👍👍👍👍👍
🤢
And do you know why?

So you dont feel to big this was my question 6.2 good for street fighter
Awesome...next could throw KTM 1390 R EVO in the mix.
Well since the BMW engines keep blowing up, I’ll keep my 2024 SFV4S
You need to understand why they are blowing up. Brentune were increasing the rev limiter on the BMW and this was the main reason why the engines were blowing up. BT were offering an option to increase the rev limiter. All were track bikes
My thoughts exactly.
V4 against another in-line 4? And Ducati on top of that?
Ok. Ducati. Period.
Subscribed n great review . I'll take the reliability of the Beemer although a few yrs back they had some serious issues with the motors. Hope it's hammered out
The Ducati Penigale V4 R runs lean which causes a lag on acceleration. I'm going for the M1000r
Correction the SP2 has better launch, top end, and geometry. Ducati for the win.

The SP2, other than the CF wheels, is not any “better” that the SFV4S and as such, you could get the same bike MUCH cheaper.
BMW will always be a bike of a better quality…. Ducati is great but with BMW you have less issues….
The BMW M1000R comes with Akra exhaust stock, to match the Streetfighter power. Put the Akra exhaust on the streetfighter, you get 220 hp.
akra slip-on*

They are just overpowered for the streets. 95% wont even notice the difference between 170 or 210 hp. Same goes for the weight and so on
I care, it's a track focused naked bikes video. Not brentuning straight run on a road with chicken strips.
My point exactly
Two incredible bikes i have a bmw love it and had a few duc
The Brutale RR1000 Nürburgring is not in the mix?
Definitely the most beautiful bike but not that fast….
They’re so not worth what they cost that’s why they loose value by the hour…
Ducati looks good though and BMW has no personality
The BMW needs an extra 100cc & a counter balanced engine, for more torque & less vibrations. I'll be buying the SF V4 SP.
ESTOU NO BRASIL VENDO VOCES.. VIDA LONGA AO SUPERBIKEITALIA !!! NÃO SE ESQUEÇAM DAS CLASSICAS OK?!
"Sensational vehicle 'in my opinion' are the brakes 'in my opinion'"
The Ducati looks like its going 185 standing still
They are bikes,,,not cars! you ride them not drive them. Both amazing bikes
The old fight between BMW and Audi.
Its you who tested it not us..no worries we trust u..eventho im more in buying sfv4 sp2 but dammed your thoughts makes me wanna buy that m1r lol..
You already picked up the winner before the video 😅
BMW is boring with no soul. Ducati SFV4 any day.
“No soul”
The BMW sounds like an F1 car, the Ducati sounds like a tractor.
Not really......
can anyway say...."gas gauge and cruise control".....lol...lol..
Wtf is he on about constantly talking about this car and that car? They are bikes in case you hadn't noticed.
AI bullshit dubbing, it’s a plague nowadays.
You RIDE motorcycles. Cars are driven.

That’s why they cost so much. Ego.
You peeps sound bitter. 😅
Compare with zh2 this machines
It’s already been done and the Ducati walked away.
H2 is too heavy
Ugly bike this bmw against the street 😉
Funny that’s what I think about the Ducati! lol:))))))
Why do you keep quick shifting your voice-box has your AI gone squiffy…..😂😂😂
Tuono beats them both
It really doesn't, it's a thing of that 2015 era
