Try a V4SP2 instead of the plain V4!
My son (Ex BSB Ducati racer) hated the V4S last year, didn’t get on with it at all as it was too numb and couldn’t ride it to the limits with the electronics etc.
His V4SP2 this year he absolutely loves and ain’t changing for next year. He can wheelie, stoops and ride it to the limits and play with it.
    Different animal!
Sure Christian would love it so much more than the V4.

Good to see you both and chat a bit, been a while. I’m pretty sure I passed Iddon?? Does it count if it’s in the pits??

I've been riding for 10 years and I've never enjoyed the feeling of full on sport bikes. I'm much more into naked bikes for street riding. I started with a Yamaha MT09 and currently I have a 2021 Streetfighter V4S. I much prefer the upright riding position of a naked bike, and my SFV4S puts a big smile on my face ever single time I ride it.

Which will be faster in track? Didn't watch it yet,...this is a very difficult question to answer.... which will be faster on track, a proper SBK replica or a bike meant to be ridden in streets? I wonder I wonder

Horses for courses as they say 🤷‍♂️ if you’re only doing track days now and then, the SF is cheaper, more comfortable and will surpass 99% of drivers abilities . Keep in mind this fella is a pro!

I have the SFV4S and had a Panigale V4. Rearsets sort out the clearance issue for the SF.

Did you get a raised seat as well? I’m assuming the riding position is more cramped with the stock seat after installing rearsets

@@spencerides1951 I didn't It's not too much of a difference in the clearance hight, but helps tremendously at the track. The aftermarket rear sets put it on par with a stock Panigale.

Bring the K5 on the track like Revzilla did. Track what they used, K5 was faster than V4S.

I still feel like that video was kinda rigged but at the same time I do have faith in Suzuki because bmw started with k5/k6 platform to make the s1000rr (my favorite motorcycle story tbh)

Bring a 400 ninja on the track against a H2, like another youtube vid did. Track what they used, 400 was faster than H2.
I've said this before, regarding the Revzilla vid. If the K5 is better than every modern Superbike, than why are Suzuki not using the K5 in the 2023 WSKB ? How many Championships has Suzuki won, since 2005 ?
The answer, because the K5 is not faster. The rider, in the Revzilla vid was faster, not the bike. The track that is used makes a difference as well, as 600s, and as mentioned above, a 400, can destroy much more powerful bikes with the right rider and right track.
      K5 178hp, 87ft/lb torque. V4s 215hp, 91ft/lb torque.

@@pauliemurphy4787 early v4 models were also set up soft from the factory which the later updates have remedied. They were very much road-biased and thats why the r model exists.

Only a disconnected journo could ever use the words: v4 streetfighter, track, and hate in the same sentence. Good grief; you've lost any and all connection to the average rider.

makes sense when the panigale is much more focused and catered to the track. Its fun in a vacuum sure but it really doesnt have any advantages other than the riding position being more confortable initially, which doesnt matter at track speeds.

Step it up, and please, for goodness sake add a bit of personality.
