TheGrumpiestOldMan dude, get over yourself, know one cares what you think!!! Little do you know, football is never about football. Been coaching football for 30 years and year in and year out I lean something bigger then football. Don’t forget to live a little on earth before its too late.
Proud of my fellow Native Sons of Ohio football players. Class, pure and simple. They accept him as he is. Parents, great job raising those boys right. Young man, congratulations.
You got that right man. I have a son with down syndrome. I've raced dirt bikes since i was little. My son is 7 years old and rides with me every weekend. 2 weeks ago he had a race and every came together and actually let him have 1st place with the trophy. It literally made him so happy dude. There's actually some nice people left in this world 😀.
We can and need to learn from him and others .they don't start wars , they aren't bullies they are almost always smiling .this is a very inspiring story .good on all the players on both sides ,awesome
Great job Luke you ran past those guys like they were standing still, you young man was kicking up a lot of dirt running down that field. Again Great job Luke and keep quick legs of yours in shape so we can see you in action
I am still feeling emotional what a great thing to do for another human, and what a special person he is. Thank you all for showing such class and grace. I will always be grateful, for what you have done. SJ
I'm an American Football fan living in Northern Ireland and ever since I became a fan in the eighties (I'm now 48 years old) I've been downhearted about how MINOR a sport it is over here with few teams and always thought how fans in the USA are lucky to have it on their footsteps. Watching this video has put my frustrations into perspective as although I only managed to take to the field in full contact Football 🏈 in my late 20s I hadn't any disabilities to stop me from doing so. Having said that I'm only 5' 8" not the strongest person in the world to play, and only got on for a few plays each game but I have some great memories AND me in a team photo over my bed. God bless you Kid you're an inspiration.
What a tremendous story to watch just before Christmas. Those coaches and players on both teams gave Luke the thrill of a lifetime. May the LORD bless them greatly for their kind hearts.
It’s called inspiration porn. They’re actually doing the kid a disservice by letting him score a touchdown and getting national news involved. This makes the able-bodied people feel better about themselves because they feel sorry for the kid with special needs.
@@channelmar15 How sad that in your little, pathetic world this act is wrong. Read the comments to this video and realize your perceptions of the world are wrong, that just maybe we know more about some aspects of life than you, and, finally, that the world would a better place without ignorant attitudes like yours.
I am sorry that happened to you. We weren't put on this planet to hate and be mean to other people. We put here to love and take care of each other. Bless you and know you are loved by a complete stranger Rebecca.
People are just really cruel. People at my schools always made fun of other people with disabilities and it’s not a joke. My uncle has Down syndrome and some of my own friends have made fun of him and I regret not fighting them at the moment but I will never be cool with them again and they will get nowhere in life. Glad you stayed positive!
@@Tyler_ss6 You stay positive too. Keep loving your uncle as I know you do. Much love to you and him. Not all people have black hearts. My brother had leukemia back in the 70's. I saw him get teased as did my parents. I was only 10 but mom and dad would go ballistic on people that taunted my brother. Bless them and you.
Im a grown ass man and im crying like a little bitch.. Their is still some sanity and love in this cruel world we all live in.. Good On you Champion your a true footballer
I love this! The BIBLE teaches us to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. This video is a perfect example of that. They practiced together before the game? How AWESOME is that? Two great coaches! Two great teams and a young man with a hearts desire! Let's not forget his parents and loved ones who support him each day! GLORY! On that field, lessons were taught, VICTORIES were upon them. Thank you for sharing! God bless everyone involved! Peace, Lynne 🍃💜🍃
The ref should have gave him the full experience a thrown a flag for unsportsman like conduct for excessive celebration. He still would have gotten the Touchdown and could say he even got a penalty for breaking the rules. Win win in my book. Shows how awesome he is and a badass all in one.
Dang This really choked me up Stories like this make me a better person. It must , because every time I see videos like this , i cry like im the one receiving a blessing.
I applaud both coaches. They just gave their teams a life lesson bigger than football!!

@TheGrumpiestOldMan Who took a shit in your cheerios?
@TheGrumpiestOldMan holy hell you’re delusional
@@pizzaman9170 what was this guy mad about? That they took time out of the game to do that?
I loved it when the coach got in his face and treated him like any of his other players.
Exactly!!!! Good job coach!!
That lump in my throat kept getting bigger. The tears won. Awesome story and that young man will never forget it.
This is what the mainstream news needs to be doing more of. I’m so happy for him and his family what great people there are in this world.
It is extremely admirable to see the players, coaches and fans give 42 much respect. 42, you are the Man! God Bless You! Keep The Faith!

These two teams are really amazing young men. These two coaches. Some real solid guys involved here.
To a bunch of high school young men and coach’s that was a very special moment he will remember for the rest of his life hats off to you guys
Even though it was a lie
I love these stories.
great people with great big hearts , awesome
We all can learn a lot from that young man. God bless his teammates, coaches and parents supporting him.
Life can be such a beautiful thing. Much love to his family , his team and coaches , and opposing team and coaches.
This is what it should all be about.. coming together n lifting each other up. A Totally Classy Act on the part of both teams.
From a guy whose job is working with individuals with special needs, this brings tears to my eyes.Tears of joy
Sometimes dreams come true due to the kindness of others. Good for these folks.
I totally agree with you!! Checkout my youtube channel show BUCKEYE VINNIE, please watch and click on the subscribe button thanks.

they should have let the points count then give them back to the other team, it would make this kids dream even that more special to be honest.

well... I teared up... and... who in the world could give this a down vote?
Beautiful thing.
The points should've counted. Just let the other team score on a "easy" play as well...then start the game....that's just me.
I thoughT the same,......then LeT opposing team run the kickoff back.
Well said
As the kid sees this on the news/RUclips to realize it was fake
