I always found papier mâché too gloopy and didn’t get to practice it at school, but you’re tempting me to get into it to make the particular things I imagine. Alternate approach for square shapes: build out of foamboard, secure seams with white glue and packing tape, cover with liner paper or some découpage technique.
Omg your pegboard is amazing! I feel like I've found a creative kindred spirit in that I also love to obsess over little details and make weird little objects. You've taken it to a whole new level though! I wish I had the energy to do so many projects!!
