I watched this because I'm also attempting to give my little art studio a make-over, and I also have those slanting walls. The only difference is that I have a dormer where the window is at, which is where my art desk fits right now. I'm just currently looking for ideas on what I can do to upgrade my little space, to reclaim it from years of neglected clutter, and make it my own again :) And your doggo is adorable! =D
Haha yes I was looking on that wall for nearly a week but it just wasn’t it for me 😂 the transition was a bit bad as I haven’t filmed how I painted it white again and then yellow 😅

You might be able to use an ikea shelf (just one of the thin white ones) mounted to brackets behind the cabinet. That way you don’t have to worry about the gap behind
Just go to the hardware store and get them to cut a piece of Lauan (Phillipine Mahogany) or thin masonite the size of the back of the shelf then nail-tack it on.
OMG I saw some of your illustrations on Pinterest and I recreated them with watercolor (obviously they didn't turned out as pretty and professional as yours) and I wanted to know who was the illustrator to see more of your beautiful work, but I couldn't found the name of the creator, and now YT recommended me this video and I clicked because I loved the thumbnail of your studio and what a surprise that this video was from the person I was looking for.
