I looked through the catalog for albums available in reel format, and came across this album with “Turn to Stone” on it. I took a chance that it was the correct album, and it was. And what a great album it was.

If you have the chance to listen the recent "Wembley or Bust" it's actually better than the studio albums - the execution is astonishing. With the benefit of technology that wasn't available 45 years ago - they do the whole thing live - it's absolutely stunning". With a band / orchestra of that size I guess it had to be a venue as big as Wembley to make it worthwhile. And it's definitely worthwhile.

I used to hear ELO playing on the radio in the '70s as I was commuting back and forth from work and hadn't paid much attention to them. I rediscovered them on RUclips last year and fell in love with them. Jeff Lynne wrote and sang all the songs. I like the live album from Wembly and hadn't heard this version of Turn to Stone before.
