People from all over the world did routines to this song at the same time and then taped it and sent it into whoever organized it. So much fun, there are several videos with different routines, saw one this morning that had like professional dancers in it and a group of seniors that was terrific.
Took my 17 year old great niece to see them at the Houston Toyota Center. She really liked them. Actually also took her to see Paul Simon, Def Leppard & Journey and Little River Band. She was pleasantly surprised that she had heard some of their songs. The new generations need more music like this.

Jeff Lynne's ELO is one of the very, very few bands sounding better live than on their records. They are this good. In the Summer of 2019, Forbes Magazine called Jeff Lynne's ELO "The Best Live Classic Rock Band In The World Still Touring". After seeing their shows in 2016, 2018 and 2019, I totally agree.
It starts with politics, and then spreads out to the masses. But the masses create the politics. Push for a multiparty system. Or better- a multiparty, and ethnic plurality in a world without borders, set in a social democracy.

I was lucky enough to have seen them live a few times. Their live show was one of the best sounding shows I've ever been to. And the electricity was contagious. Every one in the crowd got up and danced. You couldn't help it.
Yay! I requested this one too. My favorite song of theirs. Was thrilled to see them play it live in a stadium last year in Atlanta with thousands of other fans. Glad I got that once in a lifetime concert in before the pandemic hit. Just a fantastic song. And one of my favorite fan videos with all of the flash mobs. Flew in to see Jeff Lynn in Anaheim, CA in June of last year. It was the opening event/location for his North American tour. Fifth row and it was the most professional, smooth, well run production I have ever seen! One doesn't fully grasp the genius of Jeff Lynn till you see his body of work and hear it live. It is so great to see another generation able to watch and grow -it's how music should be. Thanks for reviewing them.

"All Over The World" is part of the movie "Zanadu". The entire soundtrack is by Olivia Newton John, and ELO. The movie itself is rather cheesy, but the soundtrack (for the most part) kicks! My two other favorite songs on the soundtrack are "I'm Alive" and "Zanadu". As for the video footage seen in this video, it looks like a mash up of FLASH MOBS! I can highly recommend looking for other Flash Mob videos because for the most part they are pretty cool! The is a great one by Voxx Club done in a mall for their song "Rock Mi" (they are German), Crazy Domains has a good flash mob of Uptown Funk, and CD Tube has a great one of Beethoven's 9th Symphony (Ode to Joy). Check them all out - you won't be sorry.
