Perhaps if the Beatles had the myriad of back up musicians & vocalists (assuming they all had survived & performed live in their later years), it would have approached Mr. Lynne's production.
I would love to see ELO and Supertramp on stage together playing each others music… REO and Chicago did this once and it ruled. Elton John and Billy Joel did it too. I suppose I can dream.

Jeff is much better than a 5th Beatle. It took 4 Beatles and George Martin to accomplish what Jeff Lynne has done musically all by himself. Of course, by popularity, commercially and as a brand The Beatles are no 1 but musically Jeff Lynne rules. I am a huge Beatles fan but Jeff Lynne is better with Harmonies, Orchestration, as an incredible Producer, singer and songwriter. You can still go, they're on tour right now and I saw them last night. Absolutely incredible. This is their farewell tour and they still have many dates so find the one closest to you!! You will not regret it, they are so professional play perfectly as it souds on the album. I've never seen a band do this, especially with only 1 original member. It was phenomenal I hope you go. My favorite ELO song. Saw them in Nashville in 2019, and when they started Turn to Stone, I don't think I ever yelled 'yeah!' so hard in my life. I was never one for singing around family, friends, or strangers, but that night I sang every song, I didn't care how I sounded, I just sang my heart out. I would see them again in a heart beat.

Jeff is an incredible artist to be able to put this band together and do this tour. I’m sure was a lot of work to get it together but so exciting to see them.

Absolute outstanding!! Why is this piece not even played on the radio! It is infinitely better than anything that is currently played. This is REAL music! Rousing and on the very highest level! The bad thing is that nowadays hardly anyone has an ear for the complexity and the musical demand of this music! It immediately pulls you along, you can not remain seated. I feel exactly as if I were in the audience! It's so nice to see people enjoying this music!

You have another chance...August 2024 they start their final tour.
You can still go, they're on tour right now and I saw them last night. Absolutely incredible. This is their farewell tour and they still have many dates so find the one closest to you!! You will not regret it, they are so professional play perfectly as it souds on the album. I've never seen a band do this, especially with only 1 original member. It was phenomenal I hope you go. Also these venues will assist above and beyond with any ADA or health concerns you have. Good luck! 🤟🏼

My favorite ELO song. Saw them in Nashville in 2019, and when they started Turn to Stone, I don't think I ever yelled 'yeah!' so hard in my life. I was never one for singing around family, friends, or strangers, but that night I sang every song, I didn't care how I sounded, I just sang my heart out. I would see them again in a heart beat.
It really sucks when you're at a concert and some idiot right beside you is singing at the top of their lungs. I don't pay good money to go to a concert to hear some idiot I want to hear the band

It was also my first concert so I was already a bit nervous about singing and possibly disturbing the people around me, but they were all singing so I joined in.
